Very nice little campground with clean bathrooms and showers. My lot was right on the small beach area so it felt fairly public, but everyone was friendly. It was a perfect site for my 12 foot teardrop camper. I will request the same lot the next time I go!

My husband and I just stayed in the camp for one night, but it was great. We enjoyed the man’s made beach, it was quite and the water was pleasant. The receptionist was an angel, we ran out of drinking water and she give us some. Thank you for everything.

We had a great stay in Loida and Alex's camper! The location was perfect for us -- just 10 minutes from the entrance to Everglades NP but also close to town, making it easy to pick up groceries. The camper was cozy, spotless, and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The property was quiet with a lot of privacy, but it was nice having the hosts around in case we had any issues. Overall, a great way to end our trip to South Florida!

A very nice campground very accessible to the local sites. Everything clean and tidy. We had a nice swim in the pool. There are nice family activities, clean facilities, laundry room at a reasonable price.
There's even a rec room with a pool table! Only negative, along with most other campgrounds, is poor wifi.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Highland Pines. The spot we chose was perfect for us. Close to the pool. Very easy to back into. Most of the campground is filled with permanent residents. The sites are small especially if you spend a lot of time at the campground but it worked for us. It is clean and well maintained. Temporary spots do not have cable. This spot was directly across from the pool. Scott was very attentive and responded immediately to answer our questions. We will probably stay there again when we go to see our son who lives in south Florida

We really really love this place. I took a friend and my nephew and we stayed in a tent. There was only one tent site. Everything else was RVs, but it was super quiet place for as crowded as it was. Everyone was in there RVs with their door shut so we hardly heard a thing. I love the access to the water and the beach. It wasn’t overly busy and it was a super chill vibe of good people and super clean facilities. There’s a great food truck will definitely come back. Sunsets are amazing.
