We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. Swimming is allowed in the beautiful blue lake, however this is Florida so be advised: Wherever there is water, there are Alligators! It was a very convenient location. Surprisingly quiet, we felt very safe. Across the street we were able to access the Cross Seminole Trail with endless recreation trails and parks! Perfect for us and our pup. But perhaps the best thing was the fantastic outdoor shower! The BEST shower since we hit the road 12 days ago! Would come again for sure

Beautiful plot of land! Gorgeous trees. It was cool to be near the donkeys/horses. Tracey is a great host! The land is close enough to downtown Mt. Dora to bike in if you are ok crossing the highway and pedaling up a few hills.

The campgrounds are gorgeous and the roaming cattle are magical. The staff was lovely! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would not stay in the Oakwood forest again. I would stay in another area for three reasons: 1) the site is too far from the bathrooms 2) a train comes by and shakes the ground, in addition to being extremely loud. 3) there was construction going on and that was just off putting. They need more bathrooms. There are five bathroom/showers and for the amount of people that camp on a busy weekend — it is not nearly enough. We will return and stay in a different area. We absolutely loved the rest of the experience.

We had an amazing stay at this campground. Our cabin was comfortable and well equipped, and the on-site amenities like the huge pool, fire pits, and ice cream truck made it extra fun for the whole family. Being only minutes from Legoland was incredibly convenient, and we loved the chance to meet and chat with other campers around the property. We would definitely come back!

We loved our stay on the farm! The property was well kept and the campsites were set up nicely. We did visit during the off season, so we had the place to ourselves except for one night. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The farm animals were so cute. Lastly, the farm cats were the best! They both came up to us for some love and attention. The one cat, Spurs, sat on my lap at our campsite one of the nights as we sat by the camp fire. We will definitely book again!

Weekend Trip to Lakefront Downtown Orlando

My time at Lakefront Downtown Orlando was phenomenal! The hosts Julian and Jason were extremely friendly, and the space they provide is excellent. The house was perfectly clean, and had a nice kitchen to prepare some meals and chat a bit, a chilling living room to rest, a complete mosquito-proof swimming pool... And the designated camping/RV area was quite wide, plus the lake view (or even activities!) looked great. Besides all that, and very important for me, the place is within walking distance to Camping World Stadium (where the festival I was attending was held): a very cheap ride, or a ~30 min walk. You also have a Walmart across the road, very convenient. But above all, the ambient there was in the house with other RVs' and rooms' guests was super chill and friendly --in part I'm sure because of the great vibe of our festival, but also due to what Julian, Jason, and the house transmitted!

I booked last-minute for a quick trip that included visiting friends in Clermont and heading into downtown Orlando that evening. The location was ideal—just a few miles from my friends and close enough to Disney for easy back-and-forth drives. The host asked me to text or call about 15 minutes before arrival so they could meet me at the road, wave me in, and guide me directly to my site. That kind of personal touch made arrival smooth and stress-free. Though I didn’t spend much time at the property itself, I slept incredibly well. The site was quiet, stable, and felt safe—perfect for recharging. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating.
