Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Mariana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security our RV site full hook up with 15, 30, and 50 amp connection, great clean water and sewer. The location was small and cozy. Every spot has a beautiful view of the water. We were lucky enough to get a spot right along the water's edge. The pier was perfect. Our son had a great time fishing. The staff was amazing, sweet and attentive. They had a few quaint little spots to sit and relax. The bathrooms and showers were very clean! We took our Husky and so the mini dog park was perfect to let her off leash for a bit as she's used to roaming a big property. Can't wait to go back.

Got there on a 94° day and our camper a/c wouldnt work so had to leave. This place is so perfectly set up for a relaxing, quiet and enjoyable time away from reality. So disappointed we couldnt stay. We tried! We'll definitely be back. Tks again for working with us.

We enjoyed our time at Ho Hum park. This was our first stay in our RV and we ran into a new issue upon arrival. Staff were super helpful and saved us from a huge issue! The park was clean, quiet and just all around peaceful. The views were beautiful and just a few minutes away from grocer and restaurants.

Weekend Trip to Twisted Oak Country Retreat

Nice and quiet. Host was helpful and friendly. Wish I'd of booked another night. My dog was happy to be able to roam around too. I've got a class B that sits pretty low. I had no trouble getting into and out of his camper spot.

This is the way out, but all the land around is for the walking and enjoyment! SO PRETTY!

This was a beautiful stop! Although my encounters with humans was minimal, the Lindsay was very friendly and ready to help in any way she could. It was super easy to get into the spot (you have ACRES of room to get it right!), and a very clean place. I love horses - grew up with them and miss them. But I know people might be concerned with any smells, and you can put that to rest. This place is really kept clean. I walked throughout the 113 acres with my dogs (OH THEY LOVED IT... places to run [note: not fenced. Make sure you have a solid "come" command!] and play) and came across MAYBE two piles of horse poop way, way, way off the beaten paths... Incredibly beautiful trees, blue skies in the daytime, and the night sky was black velvet with diamonds strewn across. OH MY! Peaceful - the only sound I EVER heard were a few horses whinnying from afar and contented nickers as I walked past others. It was fun to see riders, pet a few friendly horses, and love on the miniature horses. No WiFi, but if you want Wi-Fi while you're out there, you aren't paying attention to the important parts of living and traveling. I will return... and hopefully have more days!

Site was next to horse barn and was fantastic. Very level. Electric and water hookups were easy. No sewer available but we were only there for one night. Their property is very quiet and beautiful. At least 20-25 horses to watch. Will be going back.

Second stay and just perfect. My rv is self contained so I stayed out in a pasture under huge beautiful oaks. The owners are easily reachable if needed and very accommodating. The horses are wonderful to see. Very peaceful.

We actually stayed at site 1 as it was easier to turn the van to use the hook-ups. The location was great. It was close to town and local amenities. The site was flat and quiet. Would definitely use again when in the area.
