We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. “Rv”
30amp plugin and UV filtered water hookup. Class C or smaller preferred. This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft
Campsite B
“The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing.
Campsite C
“The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail.
Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. The concrete structure is for all camp guests.

We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. “Rv”
30amp plugin and UV filtered water hookup. Class C or smaller preferred. This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft
Campsite B
“The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing.
Campsite C
“The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail.
Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. The concrete structure is for all camp guests.

Absolutely beautiful site!!! The site was well kept and everything the photos portrayed. Lindsay was an absolute pleasure to deal with, she was very prompt answering messages. On my trip I ended up having a mechanical issue and was going to be later than the 11am checkout time, she said no problem and to take my time. We had a great stay! It was very quiet which we enjoyed. The trails are beautiful. There’s a great walk around the lake. It seems they are in transition from old management (KOA) to new management. Didn’t bother us at all. Showers weren’t the cleanest. You could tell the maintenance guy had a lot going on. Overall enjoyed and was good for the price.

We had a great time staying in the old fishing cabin. It was a glimpse into the Florida of decades ago. Right on the water, Spanish moss in the trees, birds flying overhead at sunset. The cabin is as cute as a button. Yes, you will need to bring your own drinking water. But everything else we needed was waiting for us in the cabin.

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm
The land is perfect for country cottage vibes.
Collecting fresh eggs from the Hens every morning was a bonus. The cottage my husband and I rented was adorable, quaint, immaculate, had All kinds of appliances fully equipped and decorated kitchen necessities, toiletries, nick nacks, firewood and the s’mores kit was awesome! I especially enjoyed the birthday welcome note /card and tokens for our stay! Cassandra and Walt came by to greet us for our stay and we’re wonderful hosts. We plan on renting each unit until we make it around the property! What I enjoyed about our stay is it’s close to our home but far enough to feel like a hidden gem . We had a little glamping, camping and rustic tranquil vibes. The outdoor shower was so peaceful after going for a walk /run near the wood trails. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We throughly enjoyed our time. The canoes, kayaks and bunk house for the kids were great. Had a slight issue with the water, but the host got it fixed immediately. If you are looking for a spotless 5 stay luxury camping destination, this is not for you but has all the amenities you need. We hope to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay this is really right in the middle of all the springs and if you like to go off road this is definitely the place to be. Our host was accessible at all times very prompt in the replies because we had a freeze while here( concerned for the pipes we had ice hanging off our rig in the morning we woke up to a temperature of 21 and by mid day it was still only 32. So weired for Florida. The only caution as advised by the host the only negative is the pedestal and sewer hook-ups were a good 35 ft from our rig set up. As long as you plan for that you should be good to go.

Brian and Phyllis were wonderful! Their property was beautiful and it was so nice to get a good night's sleep in a quiet place after driving from frozen Buffalo NY!! We purchased the most delicious blueberry muffins I have ever eaten!! Thanks!!!

We loved staying in Davids old fishermans cabin. The cabin was clean and perfectly rustic. The property was beautifully located on the lake. (such a great view to walk out the door to) It was a great location for us to check out the area.

Our recent trip from Central California to visit family was made perfect by our decision to stay on Lake Rousseau. With our relatives living just two blocks from David's land, the location was ideal and convenient for spending quality time together. David and his entire staff exceeded our expectations in every way. Their deep knowledge of Lake Rousseau, combined with remarkable generosity and hospitality, made us feel exceptionally welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in a quaint cabin that featured a convenient kitchenette. The space was not only comfortable and clean but also provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking views, which truly enhanced our experience. Our time at David's camp was unforgettable. We look forward to returning and will always choose to stay here whenever we visit. The combination of a beautiful setting, excellent accommodations, and outstanding hospitality makes David's camp our preferred destination.
