Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

The is a shared space but we will always ensure your privacy and give you plenty of solitude, if that is what is desired. We are 420 friendly and don't mind small well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am.
The property is geared more toward adults. There is a backyard pool and many of our plants are poisonous, sharp, have dangerous spines. Safety is a priority; because of this, if you travel with kids they need to be supervised at all times. It is recommended everyone wears shoes and stays on main walkways when enjoying the property.
The RV parking site has a 50 amp RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is a city water hook-up. No blackwater sewer services. No wastewater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use, secluded in the front yard.
We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon.
Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do.

Conveniently located 1.3 miles from a shopping plaza with a Publix, Bealls Outlet, and several restaurants. It’s about 2 minutes from the bridge to the beach and roughly an hour from Orlando attractions.

There are train tracks and an airport nearby. While we've grown to love the sound of the train and watching planes fly overhead (including the occasional military jet), we understand it may not be for everyone. Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

The is a shared space but we will always ensure your privacy and give you plenty of solitude, if that is what is desired. We are 420 friendly and don't mind small well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am.
The property is geared more toward adults. There is a backyard pool and many of our plants are poisonous, sharp, have dangerous spines. Safety is a priority; because of this, if you travel with kids they need to be supervised at all times. It is recommended everyone wears shoes and stays on main walkways when enjoying the property.
The RV parking site has a 50 amp RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is a city water hook-up. No blackwater sewer services. No wastewater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use, secluded in the front yard.
We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon.
Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do.

Very nice place to stay. Pool and tiki bar for guests to enjoy. Poolside bathroom and outdoor shower. The camping area was spacious and private. I felt safe and I was comfortable leaving our little camper when we went for daily excursions! Steve and Rachel were very friendly and accommodating. Lots to do in the area!

We loved our stay. It's quiet and private but still close to the city. Lee is very friendly and helpful. There are horses on the property and a large space to walk and play with your dogs. Publix is around the corner and there are countless food options within a 15-20 minute drive if you don't feel like cooking.

Our hosts at Shiloh were wonderful, making sure we were warm and safe during an unusual cold snap and helping us find good things to see and do during our long weekend in Oak Hill. We will unreservedly stay there again if we’re in the neighborhood. You can’t ask for friendlier folks at the end of a travel day.

Spending a week at Steely East was such a wonderful experience. Our camp spot was nestled among the trees. It was quiet and private. We enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet starry nights. Jay was a great host. Liz, the property manager offered many local suggestions and welcomed us with local fare. This is one of the best Hipcamps we have encountered.

This was a great camping spot within reasonable driving distance of Playa Linda beach, Merritt Island wildlife refuge, Titusville and the Kennedy Space Center. Power is available, but no water or flush toilets, as the listing clearly explains. It is a very reasonably priced, level, well laid out site in a great location and the owners were always available, but never obtrusive - even had a fire made up and ready to light in the fire pit when we arrived.

I enjoyed my stay on their property. It was very quiet, and I greeted by the local owls at night and also in the morning. It was neat to hear them, they definitely know when there’s movement. Also the chickens were curious and friendly. I wished I would’ve asked could I buy some eggs, but I didn’t think about it. There’s a park up the street near a Circle K that I spent some time at, it has some very nice trails to walk. I hope to get back to their property another time in the future.

The location here at Davis Farms is wonderful. Close to everything you would want to do and far enough away to feel a bit secluded. The property is easy to access and has a diverse wildlife. We regularly saw multiple species of birds, including a red breasted hawk that lives in the vicinity, frogs, squirrels, and even a deer or two on occasion. There is a large open field that your dogs can run around on and wonderful night skies. That being said, while the location is great, the host, Lee, is even better. Very accommodating, always willing to assist in any way he can and very kind. Can't say enough good things about this Hipcamp or the host. We were sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to visit again some day.
