The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming. Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months! We really enjoyed our stay at Eddie and Colleen’s place! Super nice and accommodating hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area and all it had to offer. Everything is very convenient. Close to everything, yet very private. The cabin is super cute with all the essentials provide. My husband really LOVED the outside hot shower! If you’re looking for a great glamping experience in the area, this is the place! We’ll definitely be back!

The A-frame was awesome and the perfect glamping spot! It’s tucked away in a private location that gives you the feeling of camping while still having all the comforts you need, including AC, a comfy bed, hot showers, a flushing toilet, a kitchen, and potable water. The location was also perfect for exploring the rivers, springs, and other beautiful natural areas nearby. DD was so kind and welcoming! We were greeted with fresh eggs and strawberry-infused olive oil made right there on the grove. They also have chickens, ducks, and the cutest rescue dog. All of these special touches made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

1 night at Rasayana Cove

I had the pleasure of being the only camper there when I went and the privacy was incredible. His 25 acres include a watershed that creates a beautiful creek. All the property surrounding him is cattle pastures so you do not have to worry about running into any human neighbors. The hermitage cabin was perfect. I mostly spent my time wandering the property but when it was time to sleep the cabin provided me a safe place to stay and the box fan worked all through the night to keep me cool despite the hot, humid Florida evening. Dennis was a lovely host and showed me the features of the property upon check in and helped make sure I had a fire started before he went. I would highly recommend staying on Dennis’s land.

The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Linus, our fur baby, loved the space to run leash free. Our mini-vacation was planned around touring the Marjorie Rawlings homestead and the cottage was a lovely refuge from the thunderstorms to relax and re-read Cross Creek and The Yearling. We were shown around the 7+ acre property, exploring the out buildings, the retro campers, the blueberry patch. We even got 3 freshly laid eggs. The entire adventure was delightful. Jodi

It shows how life supposed to be. I am very much found of nature so I really don’t care about facility at all. Where you have nature you don’t need comfort. Just prepare your mind. We loved the cottage. Our son made friends with all the cats. It was the most relaxing Saturday night after a day of tubing the Ichetucknee river. We brought some bacon and had it with fresh eggs. The hosts were great to give us space as military combat family this makes the trip way less stressful. We will be back.

My son and I had such a great time in the cabin! Colleen and her mom were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their place. The accommodations were clean, AC made for a very comfortable sleep during the hot summer days. It was the perfect place for a quick drive to Crystal River and the surrounding springs that made for an unforgettable mid-week camping trip. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

We loved staying in the Old Sportsman Cabin. We pulled up and my initial thought was that it seemed much smaller than I expected. Then, we stepped in and, like the TARDIS it seemed bigger on the inside. The scenery was beautiful and the sunsets were gorgeous.

My fiancé and I had an absolutely amazing time staying at Cabin 1. It was an adorable A-frame cabin that was well-kept and today when we arrived. There was a wonderful fire pit where we made all sorts of food and a metal grill to use with it. There was a kitchen area with every cooking utensil one might think of. The wonderful hosts supplied us with fresh eggs and olive oil which was SUCH a great treat!!! There's a fridge on site and the bathrooms are great and kept clean!!! The hosts were very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Weekend Trip to Goat House Farm

We have stayed here many times and this was our third visit bring friends. So far everyone we have brought has loved it too! Air conditioned sleeping space and a safe place to have a fire that is more quiet than many state parks we have camped at. The goats are precious and very well taken care of. You can tell she loves them all. Highly recommend!
