2 nights at Liberty Farm On Turkey Hill

kathy was great! she's was cool & communicative and made our stay totally headache-free. it was in an easily accessible area, there was lots of space to choose from and a good amount of privacy. would absolutely book again!

Nice large pasture setting away from house with picnic table and metal fire pit. Some incline to get to spot and a not completely flat area, but not a big issue. Hose to get water but must bring everything else. Close to Middletown with quiet roads to bike on, nature hikes (Wadsworth Falls) plus plenty of golf nearby. Very good owners!

1 night at Taconic Forest FALL Camping!

I had a great experience with Constance and camping there! I was a late arrival 11:30pm and they came out to show me the site and the restroom! I appreciated that after a long drive and tired. She was a great communicator and hostess! She even gave us a basket of fruit! So kind. The location is great. You can get gas nearby, a convenience store, and Dunkin’ Donuts! Thank you, Constance! I would stay again!

This place was so lovely! We arrived late, but the hosts stayed up to show us around and offered us firewood. Their property is very beautiful, and waking up to the sound of the birds was just perfect. Thank you guys, 100% will come back!

It was a great place to stay the night! Jessica was very accessible for communication. On arrival, she showed us the different place we could park our camper van and we had access to free firewood too. It was quiet and very private!

Had a great stay here! Camped in my car for the night with a beautiful view of the woods nice and quiet place! Had a little fire and listened to the mourning doves! Since it had snowed Eric made sure I was able to get to the site okay as well before I showed up! Highly recommend and would love to stay again!!

It was a very nice spot. Beautiful scenery. There is alot to do around the area. Plenty of hiking and fishing. It was very quiet. The response from Jessica was always within a timely manner and very pleasant to communicate with. I plan on returning to this location in the future. I would recommend to anyone.

Our stay at site #1 in our teardrop camper was seamless. The site is perfectly flat and the power source very convenient. Eric greeted us on arrival, and then we enjoyed a very nice walk on the trail behind the barn. Friendly horses, beautiful setting, everything well marked - these folks know hospitality!

Jessica was really sweet and accommodating. My vehicle is pretty tall, so she came out to meet me and show me another entrance where I wouldn’t risk having any branches hitting the top of my bus! Honestly was pretty surprised how good this was for $30 a night. Don't get me wrong, these are primitive tent/RV sites so no electric or toilet access or anything, but it's behind a beautiful restored bed and breakfast, there are horses and stuff, walking trails behind. The sites themselves are clearly marked with lit up markers and are in a beautiful country field. I booked this with like a 2 hour notice and was able to just come in, set up, sleep, and leave the next morning. Quick responses from the owner with questions, too.

Wonderfull place. It is very quiet. There is a trail, an old railroad track, that you can walk a long way. Will come back for sure, if we come this way.

Great campsite, Eric is very friendly and even came out to make sure the ground wasn't too soft. Isn't the most private campsite as you don't have tree cover but still quite and peaceful. The horses were beautiful to see and the surrounding towns and hikes are well worth it.

The meadow we occupy was once the farmers property that I grew up next to at my parents farm house. When he wanted to sell his property he offered it to us for purchase at a fair price if we would not develop more than we needed to live here. We maintained the meadow adjacent to our property and have kept it as an agricultural site. We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same. It is expensive to live in Newtown but we love our property. We want to teach others to grow food from their land while helping to support us keeping our adjacent property agricultural and undeveloped. The Creamery (Ferris Acres) is one of the best farm ice cream shops in the East. We are located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, close to the Village of Rhinebeck and the Hudson River. There are many things to do within a half an hour of the campsite. Learn more about this land: A very spacious semi-wooded site that is in the shape of a triangle. The dimensions are approximately 100' by 100' by 50'. Perfect for the large group camp out or the family site. The Lean-to is approximately 10'x9', large enough for a small tent or keep the picnic table in there for bad weather. Large or multiple tents no problem, put your tents in the wooded area where there is room for multiple tents. There is a fire pit area, picnic table, 4 outdoor chairs and corn hole that all are included with the site. A seasonal stream runs along the campsite giving you a nice bubbling brook sound. Plenty of privacy with screens around the site. Within 15-20 minutes of our site is just about anything you could desire. Local restaurants, hiking, fishing, shopping, drive in movie and much much more.
