Bring your family & friends to camp at our quiet and very modest small farm. Located in backwoods horse pastures with chickens, a dog, and a couple of horses. The property is very spread out and there is an outhouse for all sites to us. Your pets are welcome too! Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails & lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity! Other attractions include local farmers markets, Gilette's Castle, and the famous River Ferry crossing the Connecticut River with a vehicle across to East Haddam. We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be purchased for $12 per bundle on this site or $10.00 here at farm. Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $4.00 per 1/2 dozen. No bedding is provided for cabin or trailer sites. Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

Nature's Haven

This farm is the place to be. My friends and I immediately felt safe and welcomed by the beautiful surroundings and the abundance of animals, flowers, and space. Viktor and Mary, our hosts, were incredible. They were incredibly friendly, full of epic stories, and clear with providing us all the info needed about the grounds and facilities, like the water and showers. Everything was straightforward, lax, hassle-free. The location is perfect, with plenty of hiking trails nearby and a gas station just down the road. Viktor even hooked us up with extra wood and kindling for free, which was a big plus since we love our campfire sessions. Meeting the horses was a highlight, and Marley the dog quickly became everyone's buddy, even with the neighbors across the field. Viktor went above and beyond by giving us his last few eggs after foxes got into the chicken pen—and we are very grateful. All in all, this campsite is a gem. It's beautiful, spacious, and run by great hosts. 10 out of 10, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic camping experience.

Petite Cozy Cabin

Quiet farm!

We stayed at the Farm in our Teardrop travel trailer -- right in the middle of the site in a large meadow. We loved how quiet and private our site was, really enjoyed chatting with Victor, and had a really sweet stay... with two beautiful horses as our neighbor.

Lessons with animals while camping

Mary and Victor's farm made for an incredible experience for my daughter and me. When we asked to pet the horses we were invited to brush them and braid their manes and tails. Then Victor offered to let my daughter hunt for eggs in hay lofts and later swoop up baby chicks while tucking all the chickens in safely away from foxes for the night. Victor and Mary thought of everything to make us comfortable, safe (severe storm warnings) and welcome. We are so grateful and are planning a return trip!
