Camping on the Homestead

Choose from multiple possible sites along the river in the woods. All sites have fire pits available for use. Camp sites are less than a five minute walk from off street parking. Campsites are in the wooded area next to our small homestead farm. Walk past our growing flock of chicken and ducks on your way to the campsite. Check out our greenhouse and berry bushes for unlimited fresh fruits and vegetables. Please note, we do have motion activated cameras pointed towards the garage, chicken coop area, and our sliding glass door. No cameras pick up the camp sites.Each site is set up to hold a tent and outfitted with its own fire pit. Other guests will be nearby and might be in view through the trees. We live at the house in the field, by the parking. This is our home so we ask that you please be respectful, but are also happy and available if any needs arise. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests need to be self contained: leave no trace. Trash, recycling, and composting all available in the parking lot. *maximum 2 adults per site. No limit on children allowed at each site.

Nice little spot out of sight from the house. It is right by the road so if you’re a super light sleeper beware. A great spot to just stop in for the night though.

This was a perfect spot to set up for a night on our road trip! It was private, quiet, and had a path to the river. Jackson was a great host. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Hosts were very accommodating! We showed up after dark and left early in the morning and they showed us where the campground was when we pulled up because we were struggling to find where to go in the dark. You will have to carry items from your car but not far. It was very cute hearing their farm animals at night.
