Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more.
We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

Well off the beaten track, it's scenic, private and peaceful. Camping at Moon In The Pond Farm is a bit of heaven.
There are separate sites to choose. Around the farm, you have your own secluded spot to enjoy. (Though you may be in a field next to our Scottish Highland cattle!) Two are tent sites: the PondSide and the FieldEdge. There's one site for small/tiny RVs or Campervan. And finally there's the HiddenCabin--a bed a roof and convenience. Each has a firepit with a small grill to cook over the fire. (all firewood provided)
Our campsites are in quieter areas of the farm. One overlooks the pond, others are on the edges of different farm fields, one a cabin nearer the farmstead. All require a beautiful, bucolic trek of 150-350 yards from the roadside parking--ensuring the quiet, natural experience. During the day times, you may see or hear farm work. At night it's lusciously dark and serenely quiet. You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl and coyotes howl! In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars.
During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates. If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay.
We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land. It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam.
Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others). Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away!
Love food? This is Farm-to-Table for real! Never so close--the table's AT the farm! Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a real treat!
Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more.
It's still amazingly quiet at the farm where the Milky Way is clearly visible.

Once a working small farm, it is now a homestead for us. Our cabin (converted shed) was used by family at one time. You will see multiple plots of organically grown vegetables, A large area for relaxing, playing croquet or corn hole, and a mowed path to take a short walk. We are on a main town road, so there is noise from cars at times. Expect a rooster to be your alarm clock and on a clear night to see the stars.

Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. Hucklebuck Railway Campground was an amazing experience! Our family had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the campground and the surrounding area. Paula and Bill organized everything in such a thoughtful way that we had way we needed as novice campers. They were responsive whenever we needed anything and gave suggestions for places to view the abundant wildlife. My children and fur babies loved being next to the water most of all. We loved camping here! Such a beautiful property with tons of space. We felt secluded enough to not feel crowded, but it was comforting knowing Bill and Paula were so close if we needed anything. They were both extremely accommodating and attentive, from taking us up to the site, giving us a brief history of the property, and making sure we had everything we needed (like extra water), throughout the entire trip. The stream was our favorite part! We had a great time swimming and wading in the water looking at the snails. The walk is only about 5-10 minutes and it’s down a bit of a hill.
The site is equipped with essentially everything you need to camp, you just need to bring the food and blankets. We’re already talking about the possibility of heading back again next year!

It’s a beautiful property! Lovely to see the cows, the starlit sky and fireflies. The fire pit is amazing and there’s plenty of firewood. The picnic table is great too. There are no pots or pans or tongs fyi so itd be good to brings those! And the bathroom was a little uncomfortable to use because of the toilet bowl being a bag that wasn’t so deep.. so slight discomforts but it is glamping and there are plenty of places not too far away to access bathrooms and other comforts.

1 night at Hucklebuck Railway Campsites
We love this campsite and have been several times now. There’s no better furnished site in the area, and they’re very friendly and helpful hosts. They clearly take care of their site and the land, as it’s been in great condition for the past six years in the time we’ve been going to Hucklebuck Campsite East. The nature is stunning, the accommodations are great, and they have everything you need to get off grid comfortably for a little while.

If you're looking for unique glamping please visit Beavertides Farm! The folks are amazing and truly hospitable, we felt right at home. We loved that the farm animals were able to graze in front of the tent and around us while we sat by the cozy campfire. Truly a serene experience they offer everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Weekend Trip to Hunterbrook Mountain
We had an amazing time in Stephen’s place! We loved all the accommodations, how private the place felt and how relaxing it was to sleep next to the creek! We can’t wait to come back during the fall season, all the canopy around the place must look magical if it was this beautiful during the summer. Stephen was super helpful and attentive, 10/10 stay.

Weekend Trip to Hucklebuck Railway Campsites
Highly recommend! We weren't able to swim in the river due to a massive storm prior to our arrival but my family of 5 loved it!!!! Our kids ages 3,5,7 absolutely got the camping experience they were looking for.
This is a site where you don't have to bring much. My husband and I were so impressed on how camp ready everything was. It made camping there such a breeze!
PRIVATE & SERENE and SOOOOO MANY trails to explore. We didn't hear or bump into other campers. This site has great outlined trails and family friendly. Some of the best wildlife and everything was so well taken care of! An outhouse so clean and efficient that it had my kiddos going on their own!
Our family created so many core memories here, I'm sure we'll be back and recommend to all of our family and friends! The directions they provide were spot on and the site even included instructions on how to work everything! We were also guided to our site and got an in depth tour of how everything worked in person. Paula and her lovely family were available to answer any questions or concerns we had! We came, needing to be in touch with nature, and left with so much more! Regulated nervous system check!

My friends and i had an amazing time at meadow ridge !!! we spent the weekend and had plenty of firewood for our whole stay, the canvas tent was perfect for our friends who didn’t have a tent, and we explored the area and found the best ice cream we have had arethusa!!! loved petting the cows and having a secluded space to spend time together. we will be back !!!

1 night at Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'
What a pleasure to be immersed in nature but still sleep in a comfy bed! I only stayed one night but loved falling asleep to the sound of insects, waking to the sound of birds, reading in the hammock, and making my coffee over the fire. A great site, very well equipped. Hosts were thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommend!

We loved the whole experience. The site was great and very well provided for. It was very private. Paula and Bill were very accommodating hosts and took care of every need.
Next time we will bring the aqua shoes and tubes for floating that they recommended. The River is right next to Camp and it was beautiful and a lot of fun. We enjoyed fishing and it would've been a blast to tube down. But, bring water shoes! :-)

Our family (and pup) absolutely loved staying at Two Herons. The farm was so peaceful and the cottage was well appointed and just perfect for the 2 night stay. When we arrived there was goat yoga happening and we were fortunate enough to cuddle with baby goats! Absolutely incredible stay .. can’t wait to come back!

Lovely site above the river with trails leading down. Very private, though East camp is closer to neighbors. Not luxury camping but a very good campsite with most of what you need. We were there for the hottest days of the summer (temp hit 100) and the site was the coolest place to be, shady but still caught the breeze. The massive thunderstorms, and the tent and other tarped areas held up well. Overall a very positive experience despite less than ideal conditions.

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'
Amazing stay at Evan and Laura’s campsite! My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay. Evan provided clear directions, responded quickly, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The campsite itself was peaceful, comfortable, and a perfect place to unwind.
There is a short hike from the parking area to the tent, so I’d recommend packing light and avoiding heavy items. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it!
