We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. You’ll see multiple plots of organically grown vegetables, a large area for relaxing, playing croquet or cornhole, and a mowed path for a short walk. We are located on a main town road, so there may be some traffic noise at times. Expect a rooster to be your alarm clock and, on a clear night, plenty of stars.

We had a great time at Hunterbrook mountain! The tent was spacious and so clean. We really appreciated the 5G of spring water, tables and all of the extras provided, it was more than we expected. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The waterfall was such a calming sound to have in the background and to hang out in. We also walked some of the trails on the property too. It was so private and relaxing and we also had service! A great solo camping trip spot.

It’s a beautiful property! Lovely to see the cows, the starlit sky and fireflies. The fire pit is amazing and there’s plenty of firewood. The picnic table is great too. There are no pots or pans or tongs fyi so itd be good to brings those! And the bathroom was a little uncomfortable to use because of the toilet bowl being a bag that wasn’t so deep.. so slight discomforts but it is glamping and there are plenty of places not too far away to access bathrooms and other comforts.

What a pleasure to be immersed in nature but still sleep in a comfy bed! I only stayed one night but loved falling asleep to the sound of insects, waking to the sound of birds, reading in the hammock, and making my coffee over the fire. A great site, very well equipped. Group trip
Amazing getaway from any neighbors! We had 6 of us ladies and plenty of space! Having a kitchenette with a fridge was huge as we got to leave our bigger coolers at home which allowed us to leave a little extra room in the suv for other camp stuff. Danielle was only a message away a d was such a great host! It downpoured our last night but we will definitely be back to enjoy a full weekend away.

Our family (and pup) absolutely loved staying at Two Herons. The farm was so peaceful and the cottage was well appointed and just perfect for the 2 night stay. When we arrived there was goat yoga happening and we were fortunate enough to cuddle with baby goats! Absolutely incredible stay .. can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'
Amazing stay at Evan and Laura’s campsite! My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay. Evan provided clear directions, responded quickly, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The campsite itself was peaceful, comfortable, and a perfect place to unwind.
There is a short hike from the parking area to the tent, so I’d recommend packing light and avoiding heavy items. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it!

What an incredible getaway this was. Such a beautiful property to unwind and take in nature. We loved the animals. Baby goats make everything better.
The camper was cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts, Molly and Diego were so kind and accommodating.
From the morning rooster calls until the magic of a hundred fireflies Two Herons Farm is a piece of heaven!

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'
Very nice stay, perfect off grid relaxing overnight. The platform is solid and the bed is comfy. It's camping without having to lug in all your own gear. A short uphill hike with a few natural rock steps brings you past the privy then another 100 feet or so (still uphill) to the campsite. Well maintained with tiki torches and a fire pit. Small kitchen type space and a table round out the accommodations. No complaints.

We had a great time. This is our second visit to your site. The platform tent is very comfortable for adults and the added classic tent gave us enough room for kids. We really appreciate the firepit, dishes, washing supplies, goats/chickens, and toilet/shower! The location in walking distance to Fahnestock is perfect! Good choice for low key outdoor weekend. Our camp host was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Bill was welcoming, helpful, and made the entire experience feel easy and comfortable. The space was perfect, well-kept, organized, and had everything we needed for a great stay.
