Welcome to our half-acre campground, featuring two sites. This listing is specifically for the lower campsite. Situated amidst 400 acres of state land, our campground offers a tranquil setting for outdoor enthusiasts.
Enjoy nearby fishing, hiking, kayaking, or biking along the 26 miles of the Rail Trail.
Our lower campsite is designed to accommodate 4WD camper vans or truck bed campers under 24 feet in length. Due to the incline of our driveway, all vehicles must have 4WD to safely access the site.
The campsite includes a 30 amp outlet and a 20 amp dual pull GFI outlet. Additionally, there is a fresh water hydrant and a septic hookup for your vehicle. Please note that there are no bathroom facilities onsite, so we are currently only welcoming travelers with bathroom facilities in their vehicle.
As a carry-in, carry-out facility, all trash and waste must be taken with you upon departure. To avoid attracting black bears or other wildlife, no food or trash may be left outside during your stay.
The site is equipped with a solo stove-type campfire pit, two chairs around the fire, a charcoal BBQ (BYO charcoal), a small dining table, and two dining chairs. Firewood can be provided for an additional fee.
Please be aware that you may hear train noise, as the Harlem North line ends approximately 1 mile away. Our house is located around 50 meters below this site, and a campsite with a vintage camper is situated about 50 feet above. If you are interested in a more private experience, please inquire about renting both sites at a discounted rate.

We are RV campers and know what it is like to find a spot that we want to return to year after year! Funny how our favorite spot is right here on our own land! We wanted our place to be toxic free, without smart meters, wifi or lots of cell phone towers (cell reception is ok, just not perfect!) We have found that the beauty of camping is enjoying what matters most, being in nature, meeting new people, and enjoying the natural beauty of the places we visit. There is plenty of beauty in our town, and all around the area, including mountains and lakes, and theater, great restaurants, and shopping, too! Or you can just chill and cook out at your camper and enjoy swimming at the nearby lake. We hope you will check us out if you like the sound of that kind of camping experience. No bells and whistles and no city noise. Just a quiet place to enjoy nature while exploring the Beautiful Berkshires.
We have a spot for your RV or tent for the summer season in the Berkshires, in MA. We are close to a town beach on a beautiful swimming and fishing lake, and many hiking trails near the Appalachian Trail, as well as all of the cultural destinations in the Berkshires. Level spaces for RVs under 30' and limited tent sites. Access to fresh water and electricity, with picnic area. We welcome indoor cats, and small, quiet dogs on leashes, but cannot host larger dogs. Beautiful partially wooded/open setting just minutes from Great Barrington, Lenox, Tanglewood, Lee Outlets, Jacob's Pillow Dance. Hosts offer additional amenities.
