We had a wonderful two-night stay! The wide-open field was secluded and peaceful, yet still close to civilization. We loved the quiet, open sky, and excellent stargazing. The hosts were super responsive and helpful, especially with recommendations for dog-friendly hikes nearby. We’d definitely stay here again!
"My wife, our pup, and I had the most incredible stay at Anne and Brett’s Goodfield Farm. If you are looking for a true escape into nature, this is it! It was hands down the most relaxing spot we’ve visited yet—perfectly quiet and exactly the 'down time' we were craving. The surrounding area is such a sweet country town with beautiful hiking trails to explore.
A quick tip for fellow travelers: We recommend a 4x4 if you’re towing even a small trailer! We arrived during a quick downpour, and having a truck made navigating the grade into the site a breeze. Also, for the smoothest arrival, we suggest using the Gilbertville Rd to Goodfield Rd entrance; the Joslyn Rd entrance is a bit too tight of a left-hand swing for most travel trailers. We loved every minute and can’t recommend this hidden gem enough!"

Beautiful campsite with fire pit in very convenient location! The highlight was arriving to a double rainbow- absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area! Very private and perfect for our rooftop tent setup!
Our stay at this Hipcamp site in Massachusetts was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival, the address and mailbox were clearly marked, making the property easy to find. The entrance driveway is a little bumpy, but completely manageable for a travel trailer.As you drive in, you're welcomed by a large open field filled with beautiful flowers, with thick brush lining one side, creating a peaceful and private atmosphere. The road gently curves around to the campsite, where you'll find a picnic table, a fire pit, and clean, seasoned firewood ready for burning.The property is exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and very private. Occasionally, you can hear cars passing in the distance, but only because the beautiful breeze carries the sound. Rather than being disruptive, it simply reminds you that you're tucked away in your own peaceful retreat.Our dogs wore their Halo GPS collars during our stay, and they worked perfectly. Despite how secluded and private the campsite feels, we also felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our visit.One of the most surprising aspects of this location is it's convenience. You're just minutes from shopping and amenities, including Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Dunkin', and Starbucks, yet once you're back at the campsite, you would never know they were nearby.The fresh breeze and the unforgettable scent of the flowers made our stay even more special.

For me, this is a go to spot. It’s a reliable, safe, natural, rustic spot to camp. Whether your car camping, RV’ing or tent camping you can’t go wrong on this piece of property.
This site was a beauty. Wide open to the sky, stone walls, woods on the periphery, open fields, up on a bluff. We had no problem with the very short uphill drive that others have described; we have a front wheel Class B. Firewood, picnic table. We explored the trails and visitor center at Quabbin Reservoir. The host was quick to communicate; no personal meeting necessary. Quiet rd, distant traffic noise until later. No tree cover until late when the shadow from the setting sun reaches the site so plan accordingly. We’d go back!

Nice. Good location, good price. Use the address listed instead of the GPS coordinates for easiest finding. Only mailbox on the left. Lots of birds 18+ types and many chipmunks. Be careful driving the main lane, lots of young chipmunks that don't know about cars. Very friendly and curious jumping spiders on the picnic table taking ants, hopefully nobody foolishly kills them!! Desolate feeling up high, heard a few cars but saw none. Didn't meet host (listed) which is totally fine by me. Good stock of hardwood for fires, couldn't find location at first because someone knocked over the second noted telephone pole and address number, so stood it back up, temporary solution for the next people on site until more permanent solution can be fixed. Not many levelish spots so tent size should be smaller. It's smooth enough just fairly sloped around 4-8% in most of the area. Left some good kindling for the next crew. Thanks would return if in the area

Lovely private campsite overlooking a rolling gassy hill surrounded by forests. New picnic table, stone fire pit, mostly covered wood pile provided by host. Would recommend!

What stands out to me is the reliability. You know you will have a perfect spot to camp that’s rustic, scenic, safe and serene. I come here a lot as it is my favorite place to camp in a variety of ways. Whether you RV, car camp or tent it, this is the place to do it.
My first ever Hipcamp and I picked a good one! The view was amazing, and I felt safe and secure all night long. For those who want to park at the site, there is a small, semi steep hill. I drive a Honda accord and made it up with no issues on a dry day.

Great camping spot with a lot of flat space for tents. We fit three tents and two pop-ups in the area! Firewood was abundant and the fire pit was maintained and plenty big. In the summer months I think this spot would allow for even more privacy. Since we camped in the spring, there wasn’t a lot of foliage to block the road or the tiny home across the way from the camp site. There was a lot of traffic for a dirt road (10-12 vehicles went by each day of our stay) that was about 100 yards away. Unfortunately a neighbor had a dog that barked for long periods of time. None of which is in the owner’s control of course, bur helpful for knowing what to expect.
Anne and Brett's site is the perfect spot to be off the beaten path but still close enough to the main drag. There were two of us and our two labs, they loved the giant field! We grabbed breakfast sandwiches at Mimis down the road before exploring the beautiful and quiet Quabbin Reservoir. We had full cell service too(Verizon.) Their camp offers solitude(except for a surprise visit from their beautiful pups!) you look for in a camp, all you can hear is bird song and the occasional horse whinny. Down the road is a bakery, pizza house, package store and Cumberland Farms. The owners were very quick to respond to our messages and said to let them know if there was anything we needed. The site itself is very clean with fire ring, firewood, picnic table and a very spacious. Book it today, you won't regret it, we will be back!

Beautiful spot with views of the hills in the distance. Close to the Quabbin Reservoir for hiking, biking and fishing.
What a wonderful little spot! Tucked away above a field you have an amazing view with the mountains and a space all to yourself. It’s quiet and secluded for those looking for some calm or privacy. The land hosts are great communicators and really offer something special here. The site is simple, spacious and clean. Definitely don’t overlook this site, I’ll surely be coming back!

This piece of property has become one of if not the best spot to rustic camp. I’ve camped here many times and will continue to as long as it’s offered. Don’t come here unless you want a natural setting, beautiful landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere. Hosts are lightning fast with any questions you may have. Simple is best and that’s what this spot is all about. I fully recommend this location.

Winter camping heaven. Private, simple, safe and scenic. I’ve been here several times and it has become my favorite getaway for rustic camping at its finest. Great communication with the hosts and if you want a private spot to car camp, rv or tent then look no further.

Great spot, fast communication. I plan to go again. I'm using it as a "campfire for the evening" spot rather than overnight camping. A big open field lets you see the stars on a clear night. And I'm grateful that they put wood out so I don't need to bring it in. It's up a very short Hill which is perfect for me since I can't do too much hiking. I love the spot. And even though the road isn't too far from the spot, I don't think I saw more than a couple cars in the 3 hours I was up there. It's definitely plenty secluded.
