I’ve had the joy of meeting people from all walks of life travelers passing through, families on vacation, solo adventurers chasing peace, and seasoned RVers with tales from the road. Whether you’re here for one night or one season, getting to know where you’re from, where you’re going, and the stories in between has been the most rewarding part of running this campground.
It’s not just about providing a place to park or pitch a tent it’s about building a community, even if it’s just for a weekend. The laughs around the fire, the kindness between strangers, and the shared love of the outdoors have made this journey incredibly special.

Wee Three Farm

A quaint and beautiful little farm nestled in the Connecticut country side. Our farm offers a quiet and relaxing escape from the every day. The farm is loaded with hiking paths and natural ecosystems. We have bees hay and vegetable gardens. There are sheep that can be petted through a fence. Also located just 2 short miles from the Air Line Trail and walking distance to a Resturante and bar.

Holiday Hill

A century old chicken farm that was turned into a summer day-camp and outdoor recreation center in 1958. Currently it hosts about 500 happy campers every summer and events on the weekends.

Fernwood on Alan F.’s Land

There are several options for setting up your tent.  You will be the only ones at Fernwood, or Fernwood 2  unless we happen to be up working on the land.&nbsp; No matter where you set up you'll have your own private fire pit, and level ground for your tent(s).&nbsp; 

Come and enjoy a quiet retreat, or use Fernwood as a base for many outdoor activities-biking, fishing, hiking-all nearby.&nbsp; Natchaug Forest offers great trout fishing.&nbsp; Goodwin State Forest is less than 3 miles away by car where you can put in a canoe on Pine Lake, amble through the wildflower and pollinator gardens, or enjoy the Education Center and Museum. From Goodwin, you can access the Air Line State Park Bike/Hiking Path.&nbsp;

Hampton also has a general store that has simple food, frozen dinners that Kara will heat up for you, gifts, and awesome Ice Cream Sodas!

&nbsp;If you want a change from all that nature, there is Sharpe Hill Vineyard less than 10 miles away, as well as We-Li-Kit IceCream less than 6 miles.&nbsp; The route to either place will take you through beautiful scenic farmland.&nbsp;

For RV enthusiasts, we provide a convenient hookup for electricity and water, allowing you to enjoy modern comforts while surrounded by nature's beauty. While sewage facilities are not available on-site, our serene setting more than makes up for it.
In addition to RV accommodations, there is a yurt and separate bathhouse on the property.  The yurt is available to rent on Airbnb under Hartwoods Yurt, providing a cozy and secluded retreat for those seeking a more traditional glamping experience.  
Nature lovers will delight in the abundance of outdoor activities available right on our doorstep. Explore miles of scenic trails for hiking and mountain biking in the nearby Genesee Trails, or take a leisurely stroll along the tranquil brook that meanders through our property.
Despite our secluded location, we're conveniently close to downtown shoreline areas, allowing you to easily explore the charming shops, restaurants, and attractions of the region.
There are signs at both entrances to the site; one is a blue sign with white lettering in a tree on the left side of the road (going north) and one is a brown sign with  "Hartwoods" with reflectors on a tree (also on left side of the road going north).  There is also a sign at the actual site.  
Whether you're seeking adventure in the great outdoors or simply looking to unwind in a peaceful wooded environment, Hartwoods offers the perfect escape. Come and experience the beauty and serenity of our wilderness retreat in North Guilford, CT. We look forward to welcoming you.
There is a cement block fire pit with grill available for outdoor cooking and enjoyment.  Please be responsible and use proper fire extinguishing techniques, utilizing the provided water hose.  Firewood is BYO.  Any smoking paraphernalia must be disposed of in a responsible manner, as should be all trash.
There are no bathroom facilities available.  Please be aware that you will have to be self-contained, either in your RV or with a camp toilet.  Thank you!

Blueberry Orchard By The Pond

We can accommodate tents, cars, vans and RV's! Map of the property is in the photos.&nbsp;Drive down a gravel road to reach the blueberry patch, pull into the site, close the gate and you have 20+ acres for yourself, with great hiking, mushroom foraging and trails to explore nearby. There are several Falls and other water&nbsp;spots nearby (20 min drive)

Mickelberry Forest Gardens

The meadow we occupy was once the farmers property that  I grew up next to at my parents farm house.
 When he wanted to sell his property he offered it to us for purchase at a fair price if we would not develop more than we needed to live here.
 We maintained the meadow adjacent to our property and have kept it as an agricultural site.
 We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same.
 It is expensive to live in Newtown but we love our property.
 We want to teach others to grow food from their land while helping to support us keeping our adjacent property agricultural and undeveloped.
 Our property has provided many happy gatherings and events and we love to share it with others.

Moon In The Pond Farm

Well off the beaten track, it's scenic, private and peaceful.  Camping at Moon In The Pond Farm is a bit of heaven.  

There are separate sites to choose.  Around the farm, you have your own secluded spot to enjoy. (Though you may be in a field next to our Scottish Highland cattle!)  Two are tent sites: the PondSide and the FieldEdge.  There's  one site for small/tiny RVs or Campervan.  And finally there's the HiddenCabin--a bed a roof and convenience.  Each has a firepit with a small grill to cook over the fire.  (all firewood provided)  

Our campsites are in quieter areas of the farm.  One overlooks the pond, others are on the edges of different farm fields, one a cabin nearer the farmstead.  All require a beautiful, bucolic trek of 150-350 yards from the roadside parking--ensuring the quiet, natural experience.  During the day times, you may see or hear farm work.  At night it's lusciously dark and serenely quiet.  You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl  and coyotes howl!  In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars.  

During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates.  If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay.  

We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land.  It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam. 

Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others).   Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity.  Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away!

Love food?  This is Farm-to-Table for real!  Never so close--the table's AT the farm!  Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc.  Sear yourself up a real treat! 

Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also  numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more. 

It's still amazingly quiet at the farm where the Milky Way is clearly visible.

Goodfield Farm Rustic Camping

In the rolling hills of central Massachusetts, along the wandering path of the Ware River our farm is situated above the quaint village of Gilbertville. Our farm is walking distance from the Lost Towns Brewery, the Whistle Stop Diner, and Rose 32 bakery for all of your food needs. We are 15 minutes from the Quabbin Reservoir where you can walk or take your bike along the trails, and 15 minutes from the Swift River where there is world class trout fishing. Our farm boasts a large meadow, previously farmed by the Goodfield family for generations, overlooking a western hill range with long beautiful sunsets. We provide rustic camping on site, equipped with a fire pit and wood to use at your convenience. Consider us for a weekend getaway in the peaceful hills of central Mass, or reach out to us for longer stays. Park at the bottom of the hill and walk your way up to the campsite where a picnic table will be awaiting you. 

Humble Farm with Simplicity

Bring your family and friends to camp at our quiet and very earthy and modest small family farm. Located in backwoods horse pastures with chickens, a dog, and a few  horses. The property is very spread out and there are 2 outhouses for all sites to use.  Your pets are welcome too!  Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails and lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity!

We offer an hot H2O outdoor shower here for the comfort of out clients. It is located on the back of main house in corner.  Entrance through gate is marked. Also See map in photos.

    We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons.  It can be pre-purchased for $12 per bundle on this site, or $10.00 cash here at farm.

 Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $5.00 per 1/2 dozen.  

Blankets and pillows only are provided, NO LINENS for cabin or trailer sites only.

Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

Winimusett Farm

Enjoy a tranquil weekend at Winimusett Farm, a 28 acre retreat on a nursery farm with 4 ponds, many streams and rolling fields. Stay in an off grid cozy cabin in the woods that can accommodate 2 people. Additional tent space available. The cabin includes a queen mattress, wood stove, outdoor fire pit, deck and a private outhouse. Hike up to the cabin, it’s a 4 minute walk from where you park. During dry or frozen ground conditions guests with four wheel drive may be permitted to drive up to park closer to the cabin.

Bergills Basecamp

Originally a classic New England farm, this property feels secluded and private but is centrally located in Suffield, CT. Our house was built in 1830 and was the original farm manager’s residence. My partner and I are working on restoring it.

In a former life, I owned a hostel with shared bunk and private cabin accomodation in the North Cascades of Washington State.  I love hosting guests of all kinds and from all places! 

We are located just minutes from Agawam MA, The Big E, Six Flags New England, Springfield MA, MGM Casino, Enfield, CT, Suffield Academy, and Bradley International Airport.  We are about 35 minutes to Hartford, CT.

We have a huge backyard with two spots for RVs or camper vans that have self contained toilet facilities : 

-Biscuit's Back Bay: Lower backyard- requires driving down a hill to flat pad to park and then up the hill to depart

-Mapleton Ridge: Upper section of backyard before the hill 

We are working on building an outhouse to accommodate tent and car campers. In the meantime you are welcome to #1 in the woods, but #2 will have to wait until you are at a local restaurant or other venue!

Harbour House

The Farm was built in the mid 1700's on the same track of land.&nbsp;Hike in or drive to your campsite.&nbsp; Site #5 & 6&nbsp;are accessible with a 4x4.&nbsp; Site #3 is located in a blueberry field. It's car accessible but in close proximity to the Farm. Site #1 & 2 are Hike in sites(1/2 mile).&nbsp;&nbsp;The farm is surrounded by thousands of acres of conservancy and preserve land. Enjoy nature at its finest!! Camp in a field of fire flies or a remote site surrounded by old growth trees and Mt laurel blossoms. This is a Nature Preserve!!&nbsp;&nbsp;Please be kind to the Trees and Wildlife that inhabit the land!!

Sight #1.  Its a about 3/4 of a mile hike to the sight. Remote and beautiful.

The Barn! that sleeps 16+ people and just shows how gorgeous this property is.

The property's backdrop is the lush James Goodwin forest where you can walk directly from to hiking trails.&nbsp;Fall asleep under the magnificent brilliance of the millions of stars, hear nothing but the sound of crickets,&nbsp;croaking frogs, hooting owls;&nbsp;see fireflies light up the night and&nbsp;fall asleep&nbsp;to the sound of the&nbsp;streams running right alongside the property. You can either sleep in the barn, down in the clean stalls, or up in the barn loft. Bring supplies&nbsp;as if you are camping ie bedding, hammock, tent, sleeping pad or inflatable mattress.&nbsp;There is a long wooden table up in the barn loft that seats 14. There are games up there too, (dominos, cards, trivial pursuit etc). You may also camp outside under the starry skies.

No loud music. Noise off by 10.30pm please

We provide a VERY clean porta potty and the barn has electricity and running (cold) water. Bring a solar portable shower should you need.
