Wyomanock Farm

31 sites ¡ Lodging, RVs, Tents75 acres ¡ NY
Our 75 acres is a wonderful, diverse mix of habitat, harmoniously integrated with our small farm. This land was the homestead of the very first white settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you! Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond! Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

Welcome to The Wolf Swamp!

14 sites ¡ RVs, Tents52 acres ¡ Canterbury, NH
The property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm a hundred years ago. when the State put in the highway (I-93) in 1961 it split the farmland in half. So now there are a hundred acres on each side of the Highway. The old stagecoach road which runs through the property from Canterbury Station to Northfield Station is now part of the main trails system. The early Pony Express riders dubbed the swamp on the land "Wolf Swamp", because there were many reports of riders seeing Wolves in the Swamp. The property is very open, although the sites are very spread out and secluded for ultimate privacy. There are several great hiking trails on the property, also used by local mountain bikers and Horseback Riding. Occasionally there will be an ATV or Dirt Bike passing through. We are located in the Heart of the local Trail system. There are several great places to swim and Kayak or Canoe literally around the corner. There are also lots of great local attractions close by, many that have Farm Stores, Shops, Homemade Gifts, Breads, Pies, Cheeses and we even have a few local Breweries. There is something for everyone, just ask and we will point you in the Right Direction.

Peaceful Packies @ 3 Willows Farm

9 sites ¡ RVs, Tents13 acres ¡ Sanbornton, NH
This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property. The beavers used a piece of land that was made into a bowl shape by a glacier. Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites. We are 15 minutes from Highland Mountain Bike Park and Bank of New Hampshire Pavillon and 10 minutes from Laconia. We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air. This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged. We are located in central New Hampshire right next to a pancake house. There are hiking trails, Lakes, mountain biking, water park (coming soon), e-biking and more within a 15-30 minute drive.

Legacy Ranch

8 sites ¡ RVs, Tents30 acres ¡ Wells, ME
(As of 7/27/2023 Legacy Ranch Camp Ground is closed due to issues with permits. I will be working with the Wells town planning board to to get the campground reopen as soon as possible. My apologies to the campers I had to cancel at last minute. Hope to see you all before the end of season which is October 31st, If not see you April 1st.) Legacy Ranch Camp Ground has approximately 20 to 35 acres for self contained tent camping and RV camping at this time "Please check the size campers accepted." There are plenty of State hiking trial in the area, and the Tatnic Brook runs thought the property, weather permitting, and of course Beaver construction. We have chickens and fresh eggs year round. In the summer we may have a few cows, and possibly sheep and goats in the coming seasons. We are eleven mins, or 5.1 miles from the beach and Rout 1 that will get you to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment, such as mini golf, movies, Fun Town USA just to mention a few. "If Rout 1 is not your thing ask me about the back roads":) Legacy Ranch is a generational farm/ranch land passed down from 5 generations and will be passed to a 6th generation; my 3 grandchildren and then their children and many more generations to come. Each generation has made a sustainable living here. My father and beautiful stepmother who have both passed made their life living here as Horsemen full time and a Cattlemen part time. I share their love for the land and will work to keep it as rural and beautiful as they had. My grandmother worked outside of the home while working hard at home to keep things going and at that time my great grandmother hooked rugs. My great grandparents worked the land had pigs, chickens, cows, made wine from wild grapes, and had a small apple orchard. To be honest I am not quite sure what the first generation did to for a living to sustain them selves, but I can tell you it was to work and live off the land. Now its my turn for my dream, and how I can make a sustainable living from the land. Legacy Ranch Camp Ground is a self contained wild experience what you bring in you take out and leave nothing behind. We have stared updating with picnic tables and firer pits, and in time all sites will have these items. If you like the quiet country, wild turkey, duck, geese, deer, coyote this is the place for you! I have so much love for this place and I KNOW how much work it is to live here and the hard work my ancestors had to do to live here as well. Now I have a family who have helped me keep it. I have three beautiful grandchildren and we are working hard for their legacy. Enjoy your stay, we can't wait to see you!
