Easy overnight stop. No problems. It’s a long driveway so backing in is the way to go. We didn’t spend much time here but it seemed like a nice area!

Good for a quick overnight stay. Hosts were kind enough to provide an extension for my 30 amp cord.
No frills location, quiet, and good for coming back to after a day of exploration to enjoy the interior or your space.
Close enough to lots of places to visit and experience and the price is right.

We ended up getting stuck up north this winter and needed a place to stay in the RV. This ended up being a great safe spot to do so and on the good winter days we were able to visit the nearby beaches, especially Horseneck which is our favorite. We always felt safe and had enough privacy to be on our own. We were able to hook up our 30 amp plug to the side of the garage.
Winter 2026 was a rough one which saw two major snowstorms. Our vehicle always felt well protected.
Our host Tristan was always available when we needed to reach out via the Hipcamp app.
I can only imagine how nice this must be during the warm months. If you do stay, you’ll be able to visit many different beaches on a regular basis as there are so many close to the spot.
Tiverton is safe, clean and nice.

We had such a great summer at this spot. We started out booking a short trip and were going to bounce around to different spots, but ended up reaching back out and staying all summer. It is a perfect quiet spot, close to so many great things to do, and even though we had to pack up every so often to pump out at a close RV park, we were happier at this spot than we would have been at the area RV parks. It was more shaded and quiet than we would have at a park and better proximity to enjoy beaches from Westport to Newport. We'll be back!

About 25 minutes from Newport. Easy to find, quiet, and clean. Electric available. As it is hard to find short term RV sites anywhere near Newport, this is a good option. I would return.

Great, simple, and safe place to stop and sleep for the night. Electric hookup was as expected with an extension cord waiting as promised. Asked for a local pizza recommendation, and was not disappointed. Otherwise, minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches and surfable waves on the east coast.

This lot worked well since we just needed a parking spot to see a local friend for the weekend. If we needed to put out our awning there wasn’t enough room on the side. There is space in the back. It is dark at night when we returned so plan accordingly. The birds were loud and marked our car and rig. That’s just part of the experience and we cleaned it. Great location for beach and farmer market etc.
Reservation was seamless and location is convenient. Owner is quick to reply Thank you!

We stayed at Moose’s midnight getaway for a few nights and it was great ! It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood and our kids could easily ride their bikes, it’s very quiet and virtually no cars. It’s located about 25 mins to Newport so it was perfect for us.

Not a bad stop for one night to cross Rhode Island off our map. 30 amp extension cord was plugged in and ready for hook up, which was great. It was close enough to Newport and we got a great recommendation for ice cream from Tristan. However, we did feel a little uncomfortable about the camera facing right towards our camper. It made us feel like we could not enjoy any time outside without being watched.

Great simple place to camp. Easy, fairly flat area to back in. We have a 27’ travel trailer pulled by a Jeep Gladiator. Great location outside of Newport if you want to get a head start to go North to the Cape. Electric worked great and even had a 30 amp extension cord by the camper ready for us.

Perfect location. Very quiet and convenient to Newport, Providence and Cape Cod. Easy to back in with a 28 foot travel trailer with 2 slide outs. Plenty of room left for tow vehicle too (Ford Expedition.) Huge fenced in back yard. The dog loved it. Prompt communication with the owner and very accommodating. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

The parking spot is as advertised between a rock wall next to the house and thick foliage lot on the other side. We easily accessed the electric plug on the side of the house. The brush/ bushes were close to the RV once the slides were out and needed to be for room for the stairs. It is not as tidy as in the photos but that did not disturb us. ( a few rocks have fallen off the wall toward the back and the structure behind the house appears to have suffered wind damage)
The location was perfect for attending Newport Jazz Fest and we slept well there in the quiet neighborhood.
I would not choose it as a place to hang out but works well as a place to park and sleep.

Nice quiet area. Large pull in for novice RV drivers and nice to have power and water at what was listed as an “off grid” kind of site. Use of outside furniture appreciated. Prompt responses to messages via Hipcamp. Recommend!

This site is located next to the house in a quiet neighborhood. There is a thickly wooded brushy area on one side of the parking spot and rock wall on the other. The electric is easily accessible and worked well.

Simple, quiet camping spot. Close to Newport and the surrounding area. Only downfall is no restrooms or potable water, however if your into a more primitive style of camping, this. place is for you!

Overall the stay was pretty disappointing. We knew we were going to be close to the house, but then the day before we were leaving we found out the grandfather was coming to stay and we got stuck literally right up against the house. Then this rather large RV pulled in the next day about 15 ft from us, and directly to the side of us. We had no privacy and gas fumes coming into our camper and site the whole time! It was quite strange and unpleasant.

We were tent camping, and there was a very nice place set way back from the road where we felt we had privacy. There is a little traffic that you can hear on the main road, but it’s such a nice place to stay nearby to lots of other attractions and so worth it to be in a little bit of a residential area. It’s also very close to the highway, which means it’s handy to everything nearby we wanted to do.
