Enjoy a tranquil weekend at Winimusett Farm, a 28 acre retreat on a flower farm with 4 ponds, many streams and rolling fields. Stay in an off grid cozy cabin in the woods that can accommodate 2 people. Additional tent space available. The cabin includes a queen mattress, wood stove, outdoor fire pit, deck and a private outhouse. Hike up to the cabin, it’s a 5 minute walk from where you park. We provide a gorilla cart for use in hauling your supplies up to the cabin. During dry or frozen conditions guests with four wheel drive may be permitted to drive up to park closer to the cabin. In addition to our cozy cabin we also offer a stay in the bunk house attached to the barn. This space offers 3 rooms, a wood stove, microwave, 2 queen beds and 2 twin bed, a spacious living room and dining area. The bunk house is on the lower part of the pond, making it more accessible as parking is right at the door. There are private camp sites for guests who prefer to pitch a tent or park their van or RV. There's a portable toilet on site seasonally for guests staying on the lower half of the farm. We can accommodated small respectful groups of campers looking for a quiet stay in nature. It's a great spot for local Scout Troops to pitch their tents and explore nature. Message for more information. Site 2 has the most beautiful view of the farm. You look down at sunset pond and over the entire farm. The site is flat, wide open and easily accessible. You've got a clear view of the night sky. You may even see an owl or two that also camp out at the farm during the evening. During the day you're more apt to see hawks, rabbits, dragon flies and other wildlife. The site is large enough for two tents, limited to four people total. Well behaved pets are always welcome at the farm. Quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are in place to honor our neighbors and your peaceful experience at the farm. Fires are allowed in the designated fire pit. The forest is full of wood for burning if you want to collect it or we can provide wood for $10/bundle. Follow general fire safety guidelines and never leave fire unattended. Thanks!

Enjoy tent or RV camping at Winimusset Farm. While we have marked a level site for RV's or tents we are open to campers finding their own slice of relaxation on the farm. We will greet you when you arrive and you can stake out your site then. There are four ponds on the farm, each with their own beautiful view and spots for relaxing. The site is flat, wide open and easily accessible from the road. It's just off the dirt road, which provides a nice place to walk throughout the day. You've got a clear view of the night sky. You may even see an owl or two that also camp out at the farm during the evening. During the day you're more apt to see hawks, rabbits, dragon flies and other wildlife. The site is large enough for two tents or a large RV. We don't typically allow pets at this site given the many dogs that already live in the neighborhood. Though we may consider small dogs and those well trained to stay with their owner or be on a leash. Inquire about this and share more about your pet. Dogs do love to swim in the ponds and chase mice in the fields, we also know what a treat it can be to bring your pet. Quiet hours (10 pm - 8 am) are in place to honor our neighbors and your peaceful experience at the farm. Fires are allowed in the designated fire pit. Bunk House at the Barn

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the Bunk House at Winimusett Brook Farm. W The Bunk House is located in the center of the farm making it easily accessible by car. The Bunk House is a three room rental with two queen beds, 2 twin cots, a living room, wood stove and a whole lot of charm. There's limited access to electricity available in the Bunk House for lighting, microwave and charging. There's a centrally located portable toilet for guests to use while staying on the farm. This is an uninsulated barn, which means it doesn't stay warm in the winter and can be very warm in July and August. Spring and Fall is likely the best time of year to rent the Bunk House, but you're welcome to book it 3/4 of the year (we do not rent this site Dec. - March). Other things to know about staying in a Bunk House, we clean it thoroughly before guests arrive and still there will be dust - it's a barn. Please note this is a rustic barn camping experience, not an airbnb. The farm is located on a dirt road, which provides a nice place to walk throughout the day. cozy cabin for fall weekend getaway
Winimusset Farm Cabin
A friend and I stayed here over the weekend in mid-November. We enjoyed our trip, the cabin is cozy, and Misty was very communicative and helpful! The directions were thorough, and we had no problem using the cabin. Outside temperature was ~28-45°F, but the wood stove was very effective and the cabin became very toasty. One thing to note is that the solar-powered battery banks had little charge. The string lights only worked for 20 minutes on our first night, and their battery banks did not recharge the next day. The large solar-powered battery bank that powered the lamp in the corner had only about 6 hours of charge. We're guessing that the weak fall sun, combined with cloudy conditions, meant these battery banks didn't fully charge. This might be something to consider when packing for a fall/winter trip. We're glad we brought flashlights, a rechargeable lamp, and some pillar candles. We also brought our own kitchen supplies; not sure what to expect, but there were plenty of utensils, cookware, etc., even if we hadn't brought our own. The floor needed a little sweep when we arrived, but everything else was clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic experience! Beautiful views and many level spots by the ponds to choose from for any camper. Misty was incredibly sweet & provided great instructions for our arrival. Also, available for winter camping! Highly recommend you take advantage of this stunning farm.

Awesome place, 10/10. My friend and I had a great night at the cabin. Huge property. Cabin is up on the hill. Well out-fitted. Great big open space down below. The hill is non-trivial, but Eric helped us bring up some of our gear in his tractor. Eric was very friendly, and Misty (with whom I communicated with messaging) was also very friendly and responsive. This was my first experience with HipCamp and it was excellent. Highly recomment.

Beautiful, tucked away cabin in a quiet and romantic area! It was absolutely stunning (especially with the New England fall leaves!). We loved the wood-burning stove and super comfy couch and bed for a weekend away! Misty has everything you might need — just prepare for a bit of a short hike to the top of the hill for the cabin. I had to switch into my hiking boots, as the hill is steep. We didn’t have a chance to explore the trails, but we would love to return for another visit and magical weekend!

This was a beautiful spot! Nice fields with some level areas and a good spot for a fire pit. The pond with doc was nice as well. The host was very nice and helpful. Only thing is the hill climb to the cabin was much steeper than we expected.

Peaceful, charming site
Winimusset Farm Cabin
Our stay was wonderful! The cabin is well outfitted, it even includes an amazing solar charged battery cube for operating lights and recharging your phone. The bed is very comfortable. We hiked in the woods adjacent to the property and looked at the stars over our campfire. Misty and Eric are friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

I had magical experience at this little cabin. It was my first solo trip and it was refreshing. I loved learning about the history of the farm and the cabin. The landscape was breathtaking, the cabin was cozy, and I had everything I needed. I particularly liked the couch in the cabin. I saw so many stars at night, saw lightning bugs and bats, and heard an owl. I could go on and on. Long story short, I highly recommend this cabin.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was very secluded and private while having access to the lovely grounds and hikes. The electric battery and propane stove made cooking very easy and we had cozy nights by the wood stove. The farm grounds are beautiful and we loved exploring the ponds and brook.

This is absolutely magical! The land is gorgeous, with a forest, lots of hills and ponds. Misty, Eric, and Pippa were precious hosts and very thoughtful. The cabin has everything you could need, including multiple flashlights, a propane stove, coffee supplies, and a huge electronic charging box with lots of outlets. The outhouse is also nice and well taken care of. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Misty's farm and cabin were absolutely amazing! We made dinner on the open fire pit over looking the farm fields as the sun went down. As the moon rose we stayed warm on one of those first chilly September nights with the woodstove in the cabin. Big thanks to Eric and Bear(the black lab) for the corn! We'll be back for sure.

Magical place

This cabin was the highlight of our summer- Misty went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a long weekend, including solar powered battery packs which provided the cabin electricity (so cool!). Eric the farmer was a pleasure to talk to, gave us the history of the farm along with the surrounding area - he also let us feed the fish in the ponds which was really neat to see the variety of life from the dock. The land is also super dog friendly, our city dogs could not have been happier running around the farm. The fire pit is also perfectly situated near one of the ponds where you can hear the frogs and crickets while stargazing. Misty also gifted us with fresh vegetables from the car upon arriving! The tomatoes were unreal. This is truly a magical place - thank you Misty + farm fam for hosting us!! We’ll be back!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the cabin, and once again I had an amazing stay. Eric and Misty are beautiful human beings and have created an environment that has everything you need for a rustic getaway in the woods. The cabin is well stocked, the land is beautiful, walking trails are right outside the door, and it’s so quiet and peaceful. My dogs love it as well, it’s truly a haven of peace and quiet and coziness.

We arrived Friday with Misty waiting for us to haul our gear up to the cabin. She answered all our questions and gave us useful info on the layout of the land and where to hike with our two dogs. The cabin was cozy and warm even hot, with exception the second night when I let the fire go out because I was too comfortable to get up at 3AM and check it. Fortunately some coals were still hot at 5AM so it just took a few minutes to restart it. The hiking trails are well marked and infinite and the dogs were able to run off leash. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend a stay to anyone who wants/needs to slow down and enjoy nature and simple living for a short time.

I loved every minute I was at the cabin. The land is beautiful, absolutely private and forested beauty, trails right outside the door…the cabin was warm and cozy and such care has been taken to add things that make life off the grid run smoothly…a charging battery, plenty of lights to use, a fantastic wood stove, comfortable furniture, so many windows…the most beautiful part of this stay is the people who run it. Misty is amazing, she brought me and my things to the cabin on her ATV, and she was so available and kind and easy to be with, a bright light of a human being. Eric, who owns the land, is the same way. He made me dinner and we had an incredible conversation I will remember for a long time. I will come back here again, without a doubt. It was a soul reset staying here, because of the land and the cabin and most of all, the beautiful, welcoming humans who live on the property.

Staying at the cabin was fantastic. It’s secluded on top of a small hill not a too far ways away from the road but far enough from everything where you have privacy and peace. At night you can see the night sky and stay warm in the cabin with the wood stove. During the day you can adventure around and even check out a nice little stream not far into the woods. Misty was also very nice and made sure I was all set after helping bring up my belongings in her UTV. The cabin is very cozy and gives off a very welcoming and warm vibe allowing you to just relax and enjoy your time there without having to worry about anything else. Cell reception was also surprisingly good so if you need to stay connected you can no problem. I would love to come back again some time in the future.
