2 nights at Upper Shire Campsites Hudson Valley

Joanna’s sites are beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The airstream was comfortable and fun to sleep in. Joanna was communicative and helpful. We saw turtles in the pond, a barred owl, lotsa birds and deer walked by too.

My significant other and I stayed here for a night! It was super secluded and quiet, which was wonderful! We are roadtripping with our travel trailer to Maine, and it made for a perfect over night! The sight was clean well taken care of! It also had plenty of space to maneuver around!

It was a very nice spot. Beautiful scenery. There is alot to do around the area. Plenty of hiking and fishing. It was very quiet. The response from Jessica was always within a timely manner and very pleasant to communicate with. I plan on returning to this location in the future. I would recommend to anyone.

3 nights at Holiday Hill

I don't usually pay as much as I did for a dry site, and before I got there I had some misgivings about the cost, however once I arrived, settled in and got to meet Jesse and some of the staff and learn about the camp and their mission as well as explored the offerings in the area, I had no regrets. Staff was extremely welcoming. The site itself is basic. I have a 14 ft trailer, about 8 ft wide & it fit in well between two trees and required no leveling. A larger rig would fit, however I can't say if it would be level for you and might be a tight fit. The camp road does pass directly in front of the site. The camp was not open, however maintenance staff did begin to arrive & there was traffic during the day. Therefore, depending upon the time you're here, there could be much more activity. However, if you enjoy hiking, biking or paddling, you won't be there much, so it will not matter! You can walk across the street and hike the Natchaug Reservation, where there are miles of beautiful trails! Just a couple of miles down the road there is Mansfield Hollow State Park and dam, which has AMAZING hiking trails, a beautiful 500 acre lake and paved trails to the dam should you prefer that type of stroll. The area is absolutely beautiful! The campsite was extremely quiet at night. You will hear light traffic noise during the day, however at night it disappears. If you are a tent camper, the lean-to site is awesome! It's set up on the hill in the back, private and just a great site.

Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights on our annual road trip. Hosts are friendly and very nice (offered us fire wood). Beautiful private corner of a field backing up against a massive split oak. Apple Maps was off by about 4-5 houses. Overall 10/10!

Wonderful working farm. Lots of interesting things to see. Very friendly dog. Fantastic bathroom made out of old horse stall with cool copper sink and nice touches with composting toilets. Tent camp site was not quite level but we may have chosen poorly.

Very nice property, each site is very private. Be ready to walk your things to the site. Dom has wheelbarrows to help move things which is great. Great experience, the firewood is a nice big bundle. We loved the lean-to site. Lean-tos were clean and dry. The site has 2 picnic tables, a big fire ring, more than enough firewood and even a trash can, which was very convenient. We checked out the grounds and did a nice loop hike at Wolf Rock nearby. Jesse was very responsive, directions were clear and we will defintely come back if we have the chance.

Jessica was really sweet and accommodating. My vehicle is pretty tall, so she came out to meet me and show me another entrance where I wouldn’t risk having any branches hitting the top of my bus! Beautiful property with a lovely little pond and fire pit next to it. A trillion stars in the sky at night. I even saw a deer as I entered the property. Very kind owner and he is very responsive to messages. Highly recommended.

It was perfect site for my spontaneous camping trip. The host was very nice, and quick response if I needed anything. Unfortunately there is no flushed toilet, but for 20 dollar camping, I can’t complain. There were also animals on the campground.i enjoyed petting cats and dogs. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay in tent at night because it was so dark at night, but my stay was amazing and refreshing😀

We had a good sunset on the woods, place is neat,well kept. We love that it was private and the dogs were off leash.Definitely gona go back again sometime,the provided electricity and water was so useful. One of my go to places in the future.

We are tucked into a hidden slice of heaven on earth and situated up a ninth-of-a-mile driveway, on 2 acres with a pond, in front of an early 1800s cemetery, on the south side of 276 acres of NYS DEC White Pond Multiple Use Area, giving us the feel of 280 acres of heaven on the edge of a one-mile fresh water spring fed pond that is open to the public as a carry in-carry out recreation area in use summer and winter. We have great blue heron and eagles and otter and hawk and deer and owl and all sorts of critters and flora here with us. This is country. 53 miles north of NYC in the Croton-Harmon Watershed District. Learn more about this land: We are on the north side of Nimham Mountain, complete with its firetower to climb and see the Hudson River Valley and its 1126 acres of NYS DEC Multiple Use Area of mountain bike & equestrian & hiking trails. Some of the only petrogylphs on the east coast are a 2 minute drive and a hike from here to Hawk Rock. We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same. Welcome to Wequamps Haven in South Deerfield, with one of the nicest views of Mount Sugarloaf and North Sugarloaf Mountain, which together form the body of Wequamps of the local native legend. We have one camper site available, located on the edge of our 40 acres of protected land. Your site is on the old farm road near open, farmed fields, behind a well settled neighborhood near downtown. It is out of site of the main road and most neighbors, but still close to all the amenities in town. Half the acreage is flat, tillable land currently farmed by local farmers. The rest is pasture and woodland located on the hillside, abutting state park land which is part of Mount Sugarloaf Reservation. The view of the mountains and open farmland is beautiful at any time of year and the hillside pasture is a great place to watch the sun set over the valley below. It is the perfect site if you want a quiet, peaceful place to relax without going too far from civilization. Since it is an in-town location, it is easy to get to, close to I-91 and Routes 5&10. We are centrally located between Northampton, Amherst and Greenfield, which are all a short ride away, along with all the restaurants and attractions they have available. There are plenty of places nearby to walk, hike, bike, fish, kayak and swim so you can take full advantage of all the region has to offer. You may see rabbits, groundhogs, deer, opossum and numerous birds on the property. We have a resident red-tailed hawk and often spot pileated woodpeckers. You may occasionally hear coyotes or owls in the distance. Feel free to stroll the old farm road or enjoy our large backyard and covered patio which are areas we are happy to share as common spaces with our guests. Explore the lush Pioneer Valley or the many hill towns in our cozy western Mass. mountain ranges for all the farm stands, antique shops, historic sites or outdoor activities you could possibly hope for within easy reach. There are too many wonderful sights to see to list here but let us know your areas of interest and we’ll be happy to help you find them. We will provide a small picnic table, trash can and recycling bin. A small fire pit will also be provided with plenty of firewood available for purchase and potable water can be accessed from the garden hose. Tent/Van Camping in Leverett!

We have a private camping spot located down by the stream, and a van site which can accommodate cars, small RVs, and vans as well as tent camping. We are near a paved road with moderate traffic. The stream site is secluded, the van site is near the road and house. The property abuts many acres of woods and there are a number of great walking trails nearby. A half-mile walk behind the house takes you through the forest to an outlook on Leverett Pond. The Peace Pagoda is just a few miles up the road. Other nearby destinations include Cushman Market and Cafe, the Montague Bookmill, and Mt. Toby waterfall, caves, and lookout tower. Leverett Pond has a public boat launch nearby. We have canoes, paddles, and lifejackets available for rent--inquire for details! The area has excellent bike riding as well. We enjoy all these activities and are happy to share further destinations, routes, and suggestions!

Little Mountain Homestead is a 275 year old homestead hugged by two large streams and a large mountain to its east. There is a gaggle of free-ranging chickens and dogs and cats. During the summertime, we have a huge organic, heirloom garden and a deep swimming hole close to your camping site. Olivia, your host, is a classically-trained chef happy to offer breakfast and snacks upon your arrival. Becket, Massachusetts is a hidden gem tucked deep inside the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. At approximately 1900 feet, we have a significantly cooler climate than our neighbors even 10 miles to the west or south. Our summers aren’t usually hotter than 85 degrees and our winters are full of snow and tea and cozy. Because of our livestock and animals outside, we ask that you keep your animals leashed at all times. Our chickens free range and their safety and comfort are our priority and we thank you for understanding. Breathe in the fall leaves, fall asleep to the sounds of Rudd Pond Brook making its way north, the owls cooing, One of Becket’s first 6 houses, carefully restored with so much love in 2021, Little Mountain is our home and sanctuary. Menlo Pond

Menlo Pond is our 10 acre property where we live in the old 1885 farmhouse. There is also a large old cow barn on the property and a 2 acre pond. The HipCamp spot is down in the back of the property near the pond. There is a small beach with a dock and also a floating swim-to dock out in the middle of the pond. We share our flat bottom boat, canoe, standup paddle board and our kayaks. You can have a campfire in our firepit and use our outdoor grill. There is electrical hookup and possibly water(you provide the long hose). There is a seasonal outdoor shower and sometimes we have a rented Porta-potty.
