We are located at 10,600 ft and this is rugged, backcountry Colorado! Wildlife is abundant and there will be no parking garages, fences, gates, TShirt shops, or concierge:). Consider this glamping with a roof over you. We don’t have TVs or dishwasher or wifi or granite countertops but if you enjoy Colorado and nature and serenity then we have all you need. This home was the coziest and most relaxing place to stay ever!!! 🥰Such happy and warm vibes all around even staying on a 40 degree weekend!!! The wood burning stove was so amazing and kept the house so warm! There was even firewood available!!! 😇I brought my own but it was awesome there was some extra! Me and my girlfriend cooked some delicious meals in the adorable, spacious, and well stocked kitchen! It was the most amazing birthday getaway and my girlfriend was so pleased as well! Thank you Lauren for hosting such a wonderful and beautiful home to the Hipcamp/ Airbnb community ☺️ we will 100% be back!!! Our little chiweenie, Mabel absolutely loved the home too! She felt right at home and loved to explore the front yard and sit on the cute back porch and sunbathe. Mabel will want to return for another trip as well 🥰🐾💜

Overall great experience! House is very cute/ cozy and easy to access from I-70. Once we got the fire going inside, it was very warm; firewood/lighter fluid was provided. Was pet friendly and the town very quaint. Already planning another longer visit!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with my pups. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained, and the cabin itself is both charming and full of fun activities. We were lucky enough to have plenty of hummingbird visitors during our stay, and even had a massive bull moose stop by on our last night. T was an incredible host and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area!

Staying at Lauren's little Victorian-style house in Silver Plume was a perfect stop on our cross-country trip! The house is clean, cozy and convenient, with a comfy bed (two, actually, but we only slept in one), laundry, TV, and a full kitchen. We chatted with Lauren's partner, who was very warm. Silver Plume is a tiny and beautiful town. We enjoyed walking around and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We got some great sandwiches at an excellent local spot called Silver Plume Provisions. Lauren's place, and the town in general, were both dog-friendly, which was important to us. All in all an excellent stay and we will be returning!

Weekend Trip to The Snow Shack at Columbine Creek

This place was great! Humans and animals loved it. One side of the house is a little closer to the neighbor than expected, so dogs definitely had to be on leash since they had a semi free roaming dog as well. But the other side of the house felt secluded and had some great hanging spots. The little creek and walkways around the property were adorable. Water was clear as could be. Kitchen had everything needed, beds were super comfy, and lots of things to do nearby! Love the area overall! Thanks for being super communicative Anthony and keeping the place clean and in good working order! Would def recommend staying here!

My mom and I had a wonderful day at the 420 house! So cute and clean. Just what we wanted. Walking to the coffee shop bar was quick! Host left cookies and was quick to reply. I definitely recommend!

We loved the cabin was really nice and big we loved the space was a great nature spot to help unplug from the world and the problems of it. We traveled with are 2 dogs who love have a lot of zoomy energy and they were so good and the space is very open in lay out they didn't have problems playing inside or out without fear of them breaking anything and are one is a big lab we had to look around because some places not letting big dogs stay but this cabin gave us everything we needed home away from home we loved cooking in this kitchen we had a overall blast. The host was so helpful with all are little hiccups we had and was overall so helpful with everything. I definitely am going to recommend this place to anyone that ask my husband and I had so much fun we were so sad when we had to leave.
