Weekend Trip to Vista Tranquila - Boulder Glamping

So close to Boulder and Gold Hill with great privacy in Willow’s Roost! The bed is memory foam, the tent is lovely. Hosts are kind and responsive. Well water is really good. Super clean and nice camp toilet! Will definitely be back.

3 nights at The Birdhouse

I really enjoyed my stay at the Birdhouse! I found it as I was looking for a place to stay near the Triple Bypass Bike Ride in Evergreen. It was the perfect “chill out” spot between bike rides. Kelly was a great host! She gave me insight on some great places to eat in Evergreen. She was gracious enough to lend me a charger for my phone and even offered to pick me up from the TBP shuttle. The camper itself was cozy, comfortable, and clean. A well kept vintage camper! An excellent experience overall!

Weekend Trip to High Balsam Farm

What an amazing and peaceful space! The upper cabin is beautiful and quaint getaway from the city. Quiet mornings on the balcony and lunchtime hangs by the creek were some of the best memories. We stayed for a couple of nights for some Red Rocks shows and we will definitely be coming back to stay again and hang on the farm some more. Lovely couple and lovely property. You won't regret a moment staying here.

2 nights at Sherwood Creek Camp and Glamp

the tiny house was so quaint and cozy with beautiful details, a working stove, large refrigerator, a very warm shower and kitchen sink. the surrounding area is beautiful and comes with the best dog host named Nukka.

1 night at Gold Nugget Tree House

So peaceful! Looks just like the pictures. Gold hill inn has concerts quite frequently, we could hear the music perfectly from the Treehouse. The perfect little getaway.

Amazing little Cabin. Cozy, quiet, easy to get to. Great access. Had a perfect couple of days.

Weekend Trip to Mera Gardens Glamping

Stayed a few nights in the vintage trailer for phish, and there were two other guests at the property for the shows as well. We all had a blast hanging out together before and after, and the outdoor space is quite private. Olivia was helpful and kind. Had everything I needed. I hope to stay here again!

Dan is wonderful, kind and helpful and knowledgeable about hike. He was very responsive too. Cabin was good if u are small as we are, talker or heavier people might find it a bit crowded. Clean quarters. Great mattress, pleasant grounds and wildlife. Hot shower and bathroom as described and good after a day’s hike. We liked the place!

Such a wonderful set up and all around sweet spot. Hosts are lovely, on-site and ready to meet your needs. Great option for a group with outdoor gazebo kitchen, hammocks and an indoor gathering spot. We'll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Red Rocks Glamping & RV Sites

The setting of this campground is absolutely stunning! They have everything you need and then some! I camped at site 31, which is right on the river and it was wonderful. Borrowed a free paddle board from the lodge store and paddled out from my campsite into Lake Grandby! 10/10 would camp here again!

We loved Little B cabin at Balsam Farm. What a unique urban farm experience. The location is so convenient for red rocks, and Mile High and downtown, and for quick mountain access too. The cabin is cozy, perched up on a hill above the farm. Be sure to read Beth's details about the place and you'll enjoy this place. Great morning coffee on the hammock!

What a gem? It was just perfect! So cute and cozy with a comfy bed and everything you need to have a great time. We loved every minute of our stay there. The owner gives detailed directions on how to get there but once you go off the main rd you lose reception so please take screen shots.

Kelly and her husband were so kind and explained the ins and outs of the property. There was a beautiful doe resting in the shade of the camper when I arrived. Neighbors were also pleasant and the area is beautiful and quiet.

I loved staying in Kelly’s camper because it was comfortable, convenient and so fun! A well thought out area with a great outdoor space. It’s honestly just so beautifully decorated. I loved the atmosphere of it! I felt safe and welcomed here. Kelly is a wonderful, thoughtful and kind host who made sure I had everything I needed. 10/10 would recommend! I loved the camper on High Balsam Farm- it was just what we needed! The farm itself was beautiful, a peaceful creek, butterflies through the rows of flowers & veggies they were growing, cooking supplies, wonderful conversation, and privacy, too! PLUS an outdoor shower & a comfy bed- we couldn’t have loved it more! Highly, highly recommend especially if you’re planning on going to Red Rocks- less than a 20 minute drive away! We hope to visit again!

Our family has resided on this magnificent property for over 20 years. In the 1950s, before the home was built, our land was known as "the point." Lovers used to drive onto the property, park at the end of the lot which overlooks the eastern plains, and... you know... We live on 6.5 acres of stunning forested land located 1000 feet above downtown Boulder. Our property rests on a peninsula with views of the white-capped peaks to the west and the city lights to the east. The property feels far away from the bustle of city life, yet it is only an EIGHT-MINUTE drive to the heart of downtown Boulder's historic shopping district and ten minutes from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Vista Tranquila, the name given to our property by its previous owners, has trails to meander, picnic tables, horseshoes, swings hanging from the trees, a competitive-level trampoline, benches with views, and hammocks. The communal food prep area has a gas grill, a table for food prep, and a seating area. We request that guests pack out all trash. Since we do not provide stoves, pans, utensils, or cleanup facilities, please bring paper towels to wipe off your stoves, pans, dishes, and utensils. A well-maintained portable flush toilet is provided in a tall tent near the main residence. A spigot can be found with fresh well water on the back side of the main residence. We do not offer showers. However, the Boulder Recreation Center (a 10-minute drive) offers showers and other facilities for a small fee. You can enjoy a historic mining town experience with fine dining and live bluegrass/ folk music at the town of Gold Hill which is less than 20 minutes up our canyon. Kayakers, climbers, hikers, and cyclists (mountain, road, and gravel) will have an outdoor playground within a very short drive or right outside our door. World-class climbing located at Eldorado Canyon State Park is only a 25-minute drive. If you seek bigger peaks beyond Boulder Mountain Parks, the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park are a gorgeous 45-minute drive.

A can of propane is always available for your use of the stove. * A note to novice campers and regular hotel patrons: Though you are in a shelter, you are still exposed to the elements. The treehouse is not insulated. Wind, bugs, and critters may all be a part of the variable treehouse experience mother nature has planned for you. If you are not comfortable camping, getting dirty, swatting flies, being too hot, being too cold, hearing the noises of animals at night, waking up to the sound of magpies, and who knows what else, this experience may not be for you.

The Arapaho National Forest with tons of hiking is also just 200 yds away! The lot is open and spacious. It faces south and west for maximum sun exposure. Enjoy mountain views of Grey's and Torrey's Peaks right from your lawnchair! Come have a picnic or have a campfire under the stars. Utilize our bunkhouse to crash for a couple nights, to get out of the elements after camping, to give more space for the kids, or just as a mountain hangout with your friends. The bunkhouse, has one full bed, one single bed, and a fold-down futon if needed. It has power, indoor and outdoor lights, and heat, however, no plumbing. An outhouse is provided right outside the door! Use our large lot for overnight parking of your ATV toyhaulers or RVs. A 30A standard RV plug is available (note max breaker power is at 20A) Wifi internet provided via Starlink!

Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine. This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature! Every detail was thought of. A MUST-TRY EXPERIENCE! *Absolutely NO candles or open fires, please!! There is a propane firepit. Maximum of 2 dogs. $40 per dog. Additional rules apply for dog guests and must be cleared with the host prior. Please pick up after your dogs, there are poo-poo bags provided in Treehouse. Please do not leave the dogs unattended EVER in the treehouse, on the deck. Please use dog kennel if needed. At checkout please leave all used linens and towels as well as and lanterns that need charging and the urinals for cleaning at the bottom of the stairs. Running water will be turned off from Nov-April (except for warm days and we can turn on for a short time). We will be sure you have plenty of potable water for drinking and using.
