Aspen Forest in Evergreen Colorado

We chose to stay at the cabin with the sauna. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very cozy. Being there when it snowed really added to the experience and made it feel extra peaceful and special. Just be sure to drive carefully in snowy/icy weather. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The host was very responsive and communicative, which we appreciated. Overall, a lovely cabin and a great stay.

Relax among the trees

What a lovely 2 nights spent among the trees and sky in Evergreen. The space is so comfortable and relaxing. You wake up to pine trees and delicious coffee in the Chemex. We watched movies on the big screen, made pizzas in the Ooni oven and soaked in the hot tub. The beds were just right and the kitchen had what we needed. We even had a deer family visit us in the snow. The hosts were so nice and great communicators. Highly recommend!

Ernest's Tiny House Forest Cabin was the perfect weekend winter getaway! Ernest is extremely responsive, cabin is well equipped/cozy, and everything works flawlessly - heated floors were a bonus! Definitely will be returning here in the future!

A gorgeous, private space for those that love nature, but also want luxury. There were heated floors, a loft that was fun for the kids, a projection screen for movie nights, a huge window that made you feel like you were outside, a sauna and everything you need to feel safe and cozy.

Family Getaway

This was the perfect cabin for a family getaway. We enjoyed all the amenities: the big screen for movies, wood burning stove and hot tub. The bed was comfy and scenery pretty. I personally would have liked a normal coffee pot, but my son liked the drip pot. It was nice to have laundry onsite to wash towels.

The dome was so cool. It’s a beautiful area. The little details like the string lights outside, the seating, the kitchenette, the hammocks, the hot tub made it extremely cozy and relaxing. Grocery store is 20 minutes away so you can grab anything you need. Loved our time here. Definitely would come back.

Girls Night in The Mountains

Perfect little spot for a night away! We had a friend in town and just needed a space for girl's night, this was exactly what we wanted! Very cute, has everything you need, the projector was perfect, and the sauna was a nice touch! Highly recommend.

Pricey but enjoyable glamping spot

Stayed one night at the Dome with our two small dogs and we had a great time! The pros were that the hot tub was hot and clean, the outdoor grill and propane fireplace worked great, and the design and view inside the dome were awesome! Two things to be aware of is that the hot tub can really only fit two adults comfortably and since there are no blinds in the dome an eye mask might be a good thing to bring if the moon light / sunshine would bother you. The cons were that during our stay it did get really cold at night even with all of the heaters running so I would suggest bringing warm clothes to sleep in and slippers if you come in the colder months. Since it got so cold the pipes did temporarily freeze so we were not able to use any water or the toilet the following morning. Just something to be aware of that it could possibly happen when staying here in the colder months.

Our stay at this Hipcamp site was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. Ernest was friendly and communicative, and the igloo was clean with plenty of space and privacy. We loved sitting by the mini fireplace and hot tub at night under a sky full of stars. Waking up to birdsong and fresh mountain air was also a great addition. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for and simple in the best way no distractions, just a chance to slow down and reconnect. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing, off-the-grid getaway.

Magical place

What a magical, well cared for place. It was clear the owners thought of every special touch. We stayed in the big cabin on the property. The gorgeous views through the cabin’s endless windows, surrounded by aspens reaching to the sky, the wildlife, the peaceful quiet - all of it made for a fantastic and memorable stay. We will definitely be back and are so grateful!

Ernest’s A-frame cabin nestled into the mountain woods, complete with attached sauna was such a perfect romantic getaway. It was simple and minimalist yet still had all the basic staples we needed for our stay. The decor and lighting made for relaxing ambiance, and Ernest was welcoming and communicative, too. Aspen Treasure in Autumn

My partner and I loved our stay at the tiny house! The sauna setup and giant windows were really the selling points for us. Was also fun to hand-grind coffee to be more present. The aspen leaves changing were an added bonus! There were two other sites on the property, but the folks staying there were friendly, and it was overall still a very peaceful place. 10/10 recommend for a little weekend getaway for two.

Excellent stay!

Ernest's A-frame was excellent! Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed! In addition to the comfortable beds, we enjoyed the projector with extremely vibrant colors, as well as we enjoyed the hot tub. I would recommend this place to others in a heartbeat!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the A frame cabin. The modern and minimalist design was really comfy- we felt right at home. There are many great places to explore and hike nearby. We enjoyed starting and ending our days appreciating the nature views in the living room. The fall was a beautiful time of year to visit and Ernest was a great host!

We loved spending the weekend on this property. It was exactly as pictured and was clean and comfortable. The amenities (hot tub, projector, fire pit) were also great. Hoping I can come back someday! (As a note, the cabin and the dome also on this property are very near by so I didn’t feel secluded, but I generally felt we had the privacy we needed)

I stayed in the dome and it was an amazing experience. The aspen forest outside is beautiful and peaceful, and there is plenty of privacy. If you’re in Denver looking for a short escape close by, it would be hard to beat Ernest’s place.

I loved this little cabin! Cute little getaway spot for couples. Giant window to look out at the beautiful aspen trees, not difficult to get to, quiet and peaceful. The place had every basic thing you need is provided. I mostly enjoyed the heated floors. Lots of wild life and we saw a giant moose once we got up there! My only thing was the mattress wasn't that comfortable, but my partner and I have bad joints so memory foam beds don't work with us. Overall it was a great stay and very special thing for my partners birthday :)

This a frame was the perfect weekend get away. It’s spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy. We loved the hot tub, pizza oven, and projector screen. All the amenities you would need to stay in and relax. The property itself is well maintained and even though there are other stays there too it still feels private and quiet.

This was the perfect trip to get a mix of the outdoors with all the comforts of home! We spent so much time using the hot tub and the projector. The kitchen was perfect to make everything we planned and we were so impressed with all of the amenities. There were other people on the property, but we didn’t even notice and had tons of privacy. The house was super clean and so comfortable! We will definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away to the mountains while having all of the comforts of home!
