We had a great time. The camper was clean and ready for us. Danae was quick to respond when we had an issue with the shower/water tanks. She promptly solved the problem and did so without interrupting our time there. We did not realize the camper was in a neighborhood and that there were neighbors directly across the little dirt road. However, it was still a quiet and peaceful place to take a quick weekend getaway.

After a rocky start to our vacay and rental car troubles which meant arriving at 1200AM, this was such a blessing and a real taste of home. The RV was super comfortable, and a lot more spacious than the pictures showed. We loved the oven/stove for meals, and were able to cook all of our dinners without a hitch! I would also like to thank the owners for giving us fresh eggs from their chickens! My sister and I would definitely stay again, and would absolutely recommend ❤️

Danae’s stationary camper was in a great location and provided exactly what our family of 5 needed! The convenience of being able to eat one or two meals at the site helped to keep costs down so we could spend them on other adventures. Camper was incredibly clean, amenities good and we loved the free half dozen of eggs!

This was a beautiful, and much welcome stay! It was a lovely alternative to a hotel. The spot was clean, quiet and felt very safe. Danae instantly responded to any questions for help with things during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and fit us and our three kids perfectly. Everything inside the rv was very clean and overall it was very welcoming.
Our only comment to take note of was that the gas stove in the kitchen had VERY weak burners. Our basic camp stove was 20x stronger! We tried to boiled water for pasta for an hour before we gave up. And the cooking pots/pans provided were very minimal, especially for a family of five. The sizes of the pots and pans were more appropriate for one person. We had to break into all our camping pots and pans to cook an appropriate amount of food. This isn’t a downside to this lovely spot, just something to take note of in your planning.
We are very grateful to have found this comfortable spot and we highly recommend!

This was an excellent location for our family to take amazing day trips to the royal gorge, garden of the gods, the dinosaur center, and more! It was very comfortable with just one kiddo but the room will fit up to 3 and would great for families. Danae was super responsive with anyone we needed and the camper was well stocked for our needs... Blankets, towels, and kitchen! Highly recommend 🤗

This place was wonderful! Nestled on a quiet dirt road in the midst of outlandish beautiful sights! Danae had a lot of little thoughtful amenities like toiletries, kitchen items and a half dozen eggs from the chickens out back! She even made sure to stock us with a hair dryer before the stay. Everything was wonderful and clean! Thank you for being a fantastic host!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! It was everything we were looking for peaceful, quiet, and very cozy. We enjoyed having farm fresh eggs during our visit and our host was super fast and responsive to our messages. There’s a great brewery close by call Paradox, we had dinner and drinks there and it was a great spot

Peaceful and beautiful, my stay was quiet and clean and near hiking trails . Loved outside with fire pit and seeing the deer free roam !

We had a nice time in the beautiful camper. There was a deer under the camper waiting for our arrival. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, close to pizza and some really nice hiking.

We loved our time at the RV. Beautiful setting. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Communication with our host was top notch! You can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend!

Freedom Homestead-Stationary RV
I really enjoyed staying in the RV on Danae's property. It is a great location so close to The Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek and Manitou Springs. Danae had everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs for sale. The RV was very cozy and we really enjoyed the electric fireplace to relax next to every night.
