So Cal Campground was perfect for us! We were lucky to be the only campers there in early December 2025. The facilities were perfect since we were from out of state, and needed a clean facility to get ready for a wedding we were attending several miles away. It was much more memorable than a hotel room. We loved camping here! We backed into lot 16 and had a great view of the grounds and mountains around us. The site was clean and spacious. The bathroom facility is wonderful! It was generally a very very quiet location with the exception of occasional noise from neighboring private properties, but that is no fault of the owners of SoCal Campground. We are excited to come back again!

The ‘bumpy’ road is CA style and no problem :)
If going in hot season, bring a pop-up umbrella or tent as many of the sites don’t have shade, but they are all great.

It’s the second time at this camping facility. We love it. It’s remote, but not too remote. Some spots have shade and others doesn’t, so mornings can get hot in the summer. Love the beautiful green views from the higher spots, and the owner seem to work on improving the camping by time. The bathrooms with soap, hand dryer and showers were upgraded our last stay. Overall a good spot. Someone wrote there here a lot of flies but we didn’t notice it. A lot of mixed birds and some other wild animals though.

This is a lovely place for camping. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Plenty of shade in most camping area. Kids had lot of fun playing wiffle ball/football/badminton. It was quiet at night. We took advantage of the picnic tables and fire pit and had a really fantastic night around the camp fire.

We had a blast camping at SoCal campground. There were plenty of tent sites open when we arrived and all of them were in walking distance to the bathroom building. The hot showers were indeed hot which I also appreciated. I would definitely camp here again. The only thing is that it’s easy to hear other campers just cause of how sound travels through the area so keep in that mind if you’re looking for a totally quiet and serene experience.
