Your host can address questions or concerns. The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Your RV will be in a separate area apart from the horses, but near enough to observe them. We are located between Mt Shasta and Mt Ashland with winter sports nearby. Hike the Klamath National Monument trails. Visit the old mining town of Yreka and check out historic Montague's Open Sky Art Gallery, the only justice-inspired art gallery in the Pacific Northwest. Many waterfalls and clean lakes in our area to visit too. I am an ARCH (Arenas for Change) Designated Horse Professional, Coach and Educator. I will be present with you for any horse experience you choose. Horse experiences available: 1. Communication with Horses. Connect and interact with the 5 horses and 2 donkeys in their pasture in a natural setting. Build confidence, reset your nervous system, and experience a deeper dimension of horse nature and how they teach and heal us. Stroke or groom horses as you learn more about these magnificent, sensitive creatures. 2. Self-Development with Horses. Want to be seen and heard? SEEN and HERD is a wellness session with horses with a specific intention you identify. This experience is often deep, transformational, and healing. The solution to any issue lies within ourselves. The unfolding stories of the horses and donkeys, as they interact with us in their natural setting, lend insights into our own story. Learn what is needed to move forward with intent. 3. Mountain Horseback Trail Riding. Go for a ride with a wrangler and me on gentle riding horses up well-established mountain trails on a recreational ranch as my guest. Guest fees apply and are included in the price. 4. Arena Horseback Riding and Lesson. Ride alongside me in a large arena on a gentle riding horse. Learn how to relate to the horse as you ride, communicate effectively, keep your balance using the correct posture, turn, stop, and move forward smoothly. Build your confidence as you learn from a patient riding instructor. No judgment, no yelling. Just fun learning!

Available is a cute open spot for 1 RV and/or 2 tents, off the grid, with access to a new gazebo, along the river. No hookups. You can book guided rafting trips online (not through us). My family and I had a great time at this campsite. They were plenty of spaces, and they were all very clean and well managed. They are very dog friendly, and very welcoming upon arrival as well. The Hot Springs were definitely a highlight, and they were only a 5 to 10 minute walk away.

I highly recommend Kosk Creek Campgrounds! It’s tucked away in a little haven with hot springs, and it feels really safe because it’s a gated campground with the host monitoring everything. I also love that at night they sell firewood, so you don’t have to leave the campground — super convenient and relaxing!

Scott and his team are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed everything. The porta potty was clean. He has and is continuing to make wonderful upgrades to the hot springs. The campsites are spread out. It's such a beautiful place. If you have never been here the only thing you need to be aware of is the road driving in once you pass the pit stop is very rough so drive about 5 mph to dodge the potholes in the road. Also be aware that there is wildlife.

This was the perfect place to stop over on our trip down to Yosemite. Very close the highway, easy to find, and our spot was pretty level. The hosts could not have been nicer! Johnathan and Wes truly cared that we were enjoying our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The majority of the park is full-time residents, however we felt safe and it was very quiet. We would stay here again if passing through the area. Bonus: the laundry room was very clean and the washer/dryer actually worked very well! No extra time needed for our load of towels - which is always an awesome surprise!

This was an amazing and private spot to enjoy views of Shasta. The mountain looked surreal and the star gazing at night was some of the best we could ask for. It is on private property but set back a good distance from the house with unobstructed views of the valley and mountain. The main gravel road was minimally traveled and also made for a great walk right from the camp site as the surrounding area is undeveloped as well. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Alex was also very responsive and gave us a heads up on some heavy winds that were expected which was a nice warning as the weather had been beautiful so the wind was unexpected.

Read this!!! So YES, Highly recommend! But will keeping this a secret from my friends! Sorry not sorry! Please don’t let the drive in deter! We definitely got wrong turn vibes, lots of junk cars and abandoned vehicles/ buildings. But the road was fine coming from Sacramento. We arrived at 12AM and were contemplating just staying in Redding and then continuing early the following morning but so glad we went straight to the campground! Waking up and seeing this place was breathtaking!!! Easy to get into in the middle of the night, and easy to find a campsite. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, healing, romantic getaway. Be respectful…people don’t want to hear your music while in nature. This place is not a place to party, it’s a place to relax. I don’t recommend large parties although there’s plenty of wide open area for large parties… you will be sharing pools if you come with a large party/other campsites are booked…Which is tough, because not everyone likes the same temp! We had one other party of two camping across from us, and a few day users but we were still able to get a pool to ourselves with perfect timing. The weekend we went called for “bad weather” but we took the chance anyway! Portapotty was a portapotty…no complaints over here! This place left me speechless! Hope the owner will continue to allow us all access to their property! This place is natures paradise! Highly recommended and will be 100% be back!!

Loved it, great spot. Had one bundle of wood with us, and started to run out. Luckily the hosts came by on ATVs and sold us some more. Stars are amazing, camped right next to the river. There are stone fire rings as well as metal fire rings to choose from. Grass was green, a little chilly in mid-october. Highly recommend a truck or AWD vehicle, the road is very rough and you'll need to go very slow in a car. Store owner said there are lots of bears around. Tried to hang our food up a tree, but the branch broke, stayed up late, didn't see any bears. Seemed like the end of the camping season, but still had 2-3 neighbors distanced enough apart we couldn't hear them at all.

This place is nice and secluded. I was 1 of 2 groups camping on a sunday night. Right when I arrived there were a family of deer grazing right by the campsite I was setting up. Hot springs are very nice, definitely a hidden gem. Very off the beaten path but that's part of the charm. Good place to unplug. The people who run the campsite were nice. Would definitely go again.
