Ravens Landing is a unique piece of property. We are an off-grid forever building artist space, saddled in between two big mountains, that sits on top of a valley with breathtaking views. Ravens Landing burnt down in 2015 and since then, I and many friends and artists have been rebuilding using recycled lumber and various objects that survived the fires. *Kids fill this space with their amazing energy so please make sure you account for them in your reservation. Please inform during booking there will be kids in your party, possibly we can reserve a site closer to amenities.

All campers get access to our hand built cob kitchen and the epic dining hall deck. There is a communal gas fire pit and BBQ. It’s a very sunny property so please bring a canopy for shade if you want it over your campsite, remember to bring stakes, it can be windy here.
*Water is gold here so make every drop count, arrive with water conservation in mind. And please bring your own drinking water=)
*We are off-grid with no amenities from the city so please be mindful of how much trash you’ll leave behind. If drinking alcoholic beverages we ask that campers take their empties. Ask for a bag if you need it.
*We ask campers to arrive between 1pm at 9pm. If possible a general ETA helps as well.
*Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Our animals roam freely. *
It’s always a journey finding magical places so just a sweet heads up, our mountain dirt road is a bit bumpy. Cars make it up all the time, stay at a steady speed=)

My dad bought the farm in 1979 and it used to be a working dairy and sheep farm. My dad passed away while cutting our 6 acre oat field on mothers day 2003, our little farm started to break down. We have been working on it to bring it back to life and I hope to have it up and running strong again. Sadly I just lost my mother on Aug 6th and my father Aug 13th then my stepdad Jan 18th Alot of loss but hopefully I can have a garden soon to offer more options for our guests.

Our farm is 3 miles west of town within 10 miles to Black Butte lake for fishing, boating, hiking, and even disk golf. Right off of I-5 by a Pilot travel center and Maverick. 4496 county road DD and also shows as Orange grove ave. on some GPS maps. Public pool 3miles(1pm-5pm, water arobics Tue and Thur 6-7pm $2, family night Tue and Thur 730-9pm June-Aug) as well as shopping and dining within 3miles. Great sunset and area to roam for a bike ride or walk in the country in our little hick town with only about 8000 population. It is very likely you will hear animals so if your a light sleeper you may want ear plugs. Chickens crow and roam, cows bellow from all sides, goats beller and roam, and dogs bark and welcome guests. No trespassing signs are for hunters and people that DO NOT have permission to be here. Driveway is rough and we are working on getting it smoothes out asap so please take your time coming up. There is FIELD roaches you may see soon after we irrigate, they are bigger then the nasty cockroach but harmless. The wind can be rough at times up here on our lil hill so be prepared with extra rope to tie down and secure if your in a tent, also park vehicle to help block from wind and driveway. It does get up into the high 100°s here during the summer so it would be good to have shade or plan to keep cool during the hottest parts of the day. The toilet is a outhouse with bucket and bag inserted, there is shavings to drop when done. Solar lights outside and 1 inside. I plan to upgrade and have shower bag thats heated from sun. Longer stays are best done at sites 4 and 5 further from the driveway. Quick stops just to sleep are best at 1 and 2. Rainy weather only sites 5, 6 and 1 are usable sadly.

Clear Lake Campground is a small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach.

Ettawa Springs Resort dates back to the 1920s like the fashionable resorts in the Cobb area where the rich and famous came to play. But Ettawa was oriented towards families and a more relaxed and rustic atmosphere. We are working hard to restore her to her former glory. We are excited to announce that we have one cabin and a few campsites ready for use and will be adding more as we go. The campground offers hot showers and flush toilets, two sites in the Glade have running water and power. The cabin is a fully equipped studio with kitchen and bathroom.
You can hike through our property to the Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest or just enjoy the clean air and listen to the wind and the birds. On clear nights the stars put on an amazing show. Clear Lake is about 45 minutes away with all the fishing and water sports you could ask for. Harbin Hot Springs are 15 minutes away and they offer day passes for reasonable rates.
We are located about 20 minutes outside of Middletown. Be aware that half of the road is dirt (and that's better than the asphalt half) all of it is fine for small cars, just take your time. The last 1/2 mile or so is a one lane road, so please be careful of opposing traffic and uneven surfaces. We cannot accommodate vehicles longer than 28’ on these roads. Please do not take County Road 110 from Boggs/Cobb - it is not maintained at all.
We offer California camping at its finest. Fresh air, whispering trees, amazing star fields . . . this can mean the less attractive side of nature as well. We have ticks, rattlesnakes, stinging things, poison oak, uneven trails and surfaces, and a bear on one ridge with mountain cats on the other (no sign of either in the campground). We keep the restroom stocked with Tecnu for the poison oak, but please watch yourselves and especially children. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on lead and inside at night for their own protection and the comfort of others.
We are fairly hands off in our hosting approach. Unless there's a question or problem, you likely won't see us. But we have people close by and are only a message away.

This was an amazing spot for a quiet couple of days! The creek is incredible and we saw so many beautiful birds and otters.
My husband got to fish all day and I got to relax and take a nice warm shower in their great bathroom facilities. I could not recommend this spot enough to anyone just looking to relax and unwind.

This was a nice place to stay for the night on my drive up I-5. It was clean and welcoming. The host was nice and responsive. There was a lot of activity in the evening between humans and all the dogs. Once the sun went down it was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again on my commute!

I cannot recommend it highly enough and after having had it we were kicking our self for not trying the dinner. Complements to the chef and shout out to the chief!

Paige and Mike were warm and welcoming from the time we checked in to the time we left. Mike gave us a tour of their awesome property and showed us some areas we could setup camp (tent and truck camping during our stay); he even let us use some of his fishing rods during our stay (Thanks again Mike!). My nephew and I brought our mountain bikes and did some riding on the gravel roads throughout the property, it made getting to the bathrooms/shower a littler easier to get to from where we setup camp. The views were amazing, lots of greenery and wildlife to see (deer, turtles, fish, chickens, ducks, geese). We had a great time and honestly miss it already. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to do some camping. Thanks again Paige and Mike, you guys were awesome. I can’t wait for our next trip to you property.

This is a very unique setting to camp. Our host Alyse was very hospitable, made us feel at home at our site, and communicated very well. We had such an amazing view of the sunset and sunrise over her vineyards. The site is a large leveled concrete and it was nice not having to set up leveling blocks for our roof top tent. There are very clean spacious bathrooms a short wall from camp. We loved being able to taste her wine and spirits on the weekend, which I have to say were delightfully unique. We had a great time talking to her about wine and travel. One of our favorite outdoor experiences to date. Thank you Alyse!
