It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead.
At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't.
We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent.
We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources.

We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place.
We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings.
Pet Policy
All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Bridgeport Reservoir is a lake at the lower end of Bridgeport Valley in Mono County, California. Its earth-filled dam was constructed in 1923 by the Walker River Irrigation District, along the East Walker River. The campground and marina was built I-don't-know-how-long ago, but it sure is nice!
About Us: Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Join us for the classic camping and fishing experience with unique views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Within the Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is conveniently located near two distinct hot spring areas. A true angler's paradise, the Reservoir has excellent trout fishing from spring through fall and is close by to multiple rivers for incredible fly fishing. A 35 minute drive on highway 120 will take you to the Tioga Pass Gate of Yosemite National Park. This gate is a great start to several different areas inside of the park that you may want to visit beyond that gate. Off-road enthusiasts would not have enough time in one visit to explore all of the 4x4 trails, abandoned mines, and sites in the area as well as the famous trail that brings you right to the Bodie Ghost Town.
Climate and Ecosystem: At 6,400 feet (1,950 meters), this high desert climate has little to moderate tree coverage and gets hot during the days and cool at night. The conditions are much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. During your visit, you will notice many flying insects that resemble mosquitos. These Chironomid are harmless and do not bite. On the contrary, the mosquito presence is very minimal.
Swimming in the lake is possible usually between April to July.

The charming town of Murphys also called the ‘Queen of the Sierra’ is only a 13-minute drive from our property. Nature lovers will be delighted to know that Big Trees State Park, home to magnificent Sequoia groves, is just a 10-minute drive away. If you're interested in swimming, several beautiful mountain lakes, including Utica Reservoir, Lake Alpine, and White Pines Lake (only 5 miles away), offer wonderful opportunities. There is a strict policy that all pet owners pick up waste from their dogs and that dogs be quiet, well-mannered, and under immediate control at all times so as not to disturb other campers. Please be aware that some wildlife species including rattlesnakes, skunks, mountain lions, and bears (very seldom) have been observed on the 117-acre property and could potentially be observed near the campsites. The Love Creek Retreat is everything the title stands for. It was romantic, relaxing, gorgeous, and comfortable. My husband and I stayed for only one night in the trailer and we wished we could've stayed longer. The host was gracious, kind, and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and exceeded all expectations. Weekend Trip to Love Creek Retreat
We had such a lovely weekend at Fergie! The property has so many little spots where you can tuck yourself away and relax, which made the whole place feel peaceful and private. The daybed was incredibly comfortable, and one of our favorite spots was the swing under the bridge. Sitting there together with our feet in the water was unexpectedly romantic and such a perfect way to slow down.
Fergie, the trailer, is tucked into her own private little space and felt like a true getaway. We purchased the upgraded package, which included a tub of fresh towels and extra blankets, and it was absolutely worth it. Those little comforts made the stay feel extra cozy while still keeping the rustic camping experience we wanted.
The location is also fantastic. Murphy is just down the road if you want restaurants or a lively evening out, and we got up early one morning and went to Natural Bridges, where we hiked down and swam through the cave. Such a fun experience!
The entire weekend was peaceful, romantic, and exactly the little escape we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again.

1 night at Love Creek Retreat
Love Creek Retreat is something every 20-something should experience! At 23, so much of our lives revolve around phones, social media and the digital world. Spending an evening here gave us the chance to disconnect from everything else and reconnect with each other.
The property is absolutely enchanting—towering trees, a beautiful creek, winding wooded paths and little surprises around every corner. We cooked outside, explored, relaxed in the hanging chairs and sat with our feet in the creek. It felt like escaping into another world.
Our host, Serenity, was outstanding. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed, and you can feel the thought and care she has put into the entire experience. We also highly recommend adding the towel and linen crate—it made glamping incredibly easy because we barely had to pack anything.
We left relaxed, happy and already wanting to return. Put down the phones, get outside and go experience Love Creek Retreat. Sometimes the best connection happens when you lose the Wi-Fi.

Sierra Circle Installation Campground is such a beautiful and special place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The people are incredibly kind, friendly, and inviting, and there’s a wonderful sense of community here.
There is so much to enjoy beyond simply relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. You can go wine tasting, enjoy concerts and live music, explore the art gallery, get creative in the pottery crafting area, or join a yoga practice right at the campsite. It feels like the perfect combination of nature, art, creativity, music, and community.
One of my favorite parts is all the sweet, friendly animals wandering around — happy doggies to greet you and even a resident cat making the rounds! 🐕🐈
It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, create something, meet wonderful people, practice yoga, listen to music, and simply enjoy being where you are.
Sierra Circle is so much more than a campground — it’s an experience. Beautiful surroundings, welcoming people, creativity, community, and plenty to explore. I’m so glad I found this little gem and would absolutely recommend it! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Sierra Circle Sculpture Garden Hipcamp! Emily was a wonderful host, and the property is truly a hidden gem. Set on 100 beautiful acres, there is so much to explore and enjoy. The incredible sculptures and artwork throughout the property make it feel like an outdoor gallery, with many pieces connected to Burning Man and the late artist whose creativity helped shape this special place.
One of the highlights of our stay was Brice Station Winery right on the property, where we enjoyed great wine and had the chance to listen to a live band. It was such a fun and relaxing experience and added even more charm to an already unique getaway.
We also loved seeing the pottery studio and exploring the grounds. Each campsite has its own personality, making the entire experience feel special and memorable. You can truly feel the creativity, history, and heart that have gone into this property.
Thank you, Emily, for sharing such a beautiful and inspiring place with us. We made wonderful memories and would absolutely love to come back again!

1 night at Camp 🏕 Gold Dust Vineyard
This was our first glamping experience. I loved the whole package complete with a vineyard tour plus wine and cider tasting in the evening and homegrown coffee in the morning. We enjoyed the peaceful scenery and quiet camping site. Very nice time with our pup.

Loved the grassy field. Quiet and very relaxed setting. The pie shop had live music during business hours which was such a nice treat! My dog LOVED it. Had a nice trail around the property. It was a great experience.

I camped here two weekends in a row. It is VERY private and secluded. Just a couple small things- the picnic table is unusable, and when I arrived the first weekend, there was so much trash and broken glass all over the campsite. I cleaned most of it up since I was bringing my dogs the following weekend. Other than that, we had a wonderful time camping here. We made the trek to the creek, which was so gorgeous and refreshing. Be prepared for an intense hike back up, but I thought it was totally worth the workout! It’s not the cheapest campsite, but I would 100% book again, maybe with a larger group. There is plenty of space for it.

The space was really clean and nice, and my family and I loved having a space all to ourselves. The walk to the lake is doable, but if walking isn’t an option, they provide a day pass to the lake, which I thought was awesome. The host was also very attentive to my questions and responded quickly, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a great experience at the campground and would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely loved the location, it was exactly what I was looking for! Chris was an excellent host, and I especially appreciated his recommendations for visiting the nearby lakes. Having breakfast at Cook’s Station was an added plus.

Terry was an absolutely incredible host, and this Hipcamp property completely exceeded our expectations. He generously upgraded us at no charge to a campsite closer to the river, and when we realized we had somehow forgotten the tent poles for our tent, he even lent us a tent and saved our entire camping trip!
The property itself is beautiful. We loved spending time by the river and exploring the little river beaches, the mine, and the trails throughout the property. The campsites are spacious, peaceful, and give you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the surroundings.
Between Terry’s hospitality and how much there is to explore, this was easily one of our favorite camping experiences. We had such a wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back. Truly amazing all around!

The campsites were spacious and well maintained. We were there during the week and it was quiet and relaxing There was motorcycle tent campers next to us that were gone all day and quiet when they returned. The property was unique with the winery and pottery studio on site and also offering classes for the folks that are interested. We were able to tour the property and see the workings of the pottery studio along with all the awesome antique equipment that dotted the property. Very unique and wonderful people. We will camp here again!

1 night at Love Creek Retreat
Love Creek is an experience of like no other, a slice of heaven here on earth while sleeping on comfortable mattress in a tent, tucked away from everyone in a tidy, neat environment. I loved how neat and clean the grounds are at Love Creek.
