There is NOTHING like being in the wilderness of this area for a good re-centering of the soul! We have found it to be a true blessing for our family, and we hope you can experience this blessing as we share this space with you.
We feel certain you will not be disappointed with our beautiful river canyon. Our property is situated right on the middle fork Cosumnes river. The swimming is awesome and the stars at night will put you into a state of awe!
In the area there are many family owned wineries in the area, most of them offering free tasting! It’s a short drive to Tahoe and the Marshall gold discovery site as well as the historic hangtown Placerville. We are happy to make suggestions for local hiking areas, like the Devil's Slide "Gorge" only a 15 minute drive but like a trip to mini Yosemite. The Caldor Fire was VERY close to our property and a back burn was initiated nearby the our house (literally 200' away!). Our property became a pivotal point of fighting the fire in our community known as the “Ant Hill Army”.

Today, Brice station hosts a ceramics gallery and school, vineyard and tasting room, Blacksmith school, Concert series, Shakespeare performances and Master artist, Michel Olson's, Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden and campground. Born in Berlin, Germany, he has spent much of his life performing, guiding, studying, while travelling and becoming an accomplished artist in wood, stone and iron. Two of his gypsy rigs and several large art installations, are in the meadow next to the forested 6 site campground.

The ranch is comprised of the camping lawns, camping facilities, several homes on the property (two Air BnB and the owner's home) and the motorcycle workshop. Car and RV campers are welcomed and there is plenty of car/RV parking on the asphalt lot outside the fence at the East Side of the property near the mailboxes at the intersection of Rte 4 and Brice Station Road.

Anahata Lake has 2 peaceful dark campsites with outstanding views of the stars. A pond that is swimmable when full, but lately is low due to drought. Hang out in the shade of the oak trees. Our hill at the back of the property has a hike with a gorgeous view on clear days of the mountains and hills both up the Sierra and down to the central valley. There are also several high Sierra lakes and streams to explore and swim in, and many high country hikes you can do if you are more adventurous. The nearby town of Murphys has groceries, a large variety of restaurants, and several wine tasting rooms.
Note that summer temperatures often are between 90-105 degrees in our region. We recommend checking the Angels Camp forecast for the days you want to visit.

We accept reservations for wine and cider tastings and typically host guests between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm.
Occasionally, during very hot and busy holiday weekends, we will host an evening tasting.
We have running water on the side of the winery building.
Please note, we are a mom and pop shop with just two of us and our young son running the show. We live on site in a tiny house and use the tasting area as our 'back yard' during off hours. We ask that guests please respect our area and off hours requests. We do not permit live fires or generators.

Close to Murphys, New Melones lake and Tuttletown recreation area, Moaning Caverns, Downtown Sonora, Mother Lode Escape Rooms, Columbia Airport, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park, Black Oak Casino, Chicken Ranch Casino, Indigeny Reserve, Inner Sanctum Cellars Basecamp with other wineries and breweries nearby. About a 50 minute drive to Big Trees State Park and Pinecrest Lake. Yosemite National Park is about 1-1/2 hour drive to the Yosemite valley floor.
Check for YARTS for transportation from downtown Sonora to Yosemite valley. There are several rafting outfitters in the area.
Restaurants in the immediate vicinity include Mandy's Breakfast-Lunch, Columbia Frosty, El Jardin, St. Charles Saloon Pizza.

Anahata Lake has 2 peaceful dark campsites with outstanding views of the stars. A pond that is swimmable when full, but lately is low due to drought. Hang out in the shade of the oak trees. Our hill at the back of the property has a hike with a gorgeous view on clear days of the mountains and hills both up the Sierra and down to the central valley. There are also several high Sierra lakes and streams to explore and swim in, and many high country hikes you can do if you are more adventurous. The nearby town of Murphys has groceries, a large variety of restaurants, and several wine tasting rooms.
Note that summer temperatures often are between 90-105 degrees in our region. We recommend checking the Angels Camp forecast for the days you want to visit.
Our garden often produces delicious produce which is for sale. Ask us if you are interested.

We had an amazing stay and would give this campsite a full 5-star review.
The spot is beautiful, quiet, and truly rustic/“off-the-grid” — very private with no nearby neighbors, so it feels like real nature. The host was outstanding: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond. He brought us dry firewood, and even included cardboard/kindling in the wood bundle, which made starting the fire incredibly easy.
A few tips for future guests:
Directions: The last stretch can be confusing and GPS may not be reliable. It’s best to remember the way in, and don’t hesitate to call/text the host for guidance (he was extremely helpful).
Vehicle: 4WD/AWD is recommended, especially after rain/snow when it gets muddy. We drove a RWD Tesla and had to retry a couple steeper/muddy spots. In dry conditions, 2WD should be fine if you take it slow.
Leveling: The campsite is mostly flat with a slight slope in places — if sleeping in a car/van, bring a couple leveling blocks.
Overall, an excellent experience. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Camp 🏕 Gold Dust Vineyard
We loved our glamping weekend getaway. Aaron is such a wonderful host and was very accommodating. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about his wines, which really shows in his offerings. We took the wine tasting and tour add-on which I’d also recommend! Along with the propane fire grill and burger pack, absolutely delicious.
We will definitely be visiting again.

If you want to expand your group look for the listing for the house to rent as well. Perfect spot for visiting Plymouth. Clean, nice protected patio and view of the vineyards. The hosts are incredibly nice and a good chat, too, having lived and worked in the area, plus being involved in local arts and culture. It certainly doesn't hurt that there is an actual wine tasting room on the premises.
We slept at one of the sheetmetal teepees and enjoyed a campfire and star watching. The structure blocks a lot of wind, looks out onto a valley, and is has ample seating. In the morning one wakes up to the sights of the art garden (it's more than that, really), which is a unique experience.

I had the camping area to myself due to the time of year and it was the perfect blend of a quiet experience in the woods that I was looking for and close enough to Murphy's to be able to pick up a few supplies. We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our 9-month-old, and it was such a wonderful experience. We loved that we could upgrade provisions, we used the propane tank for the fire pit and the pour-over coffee setup, which came with freshly roasted beans (amazing!).
The whole place has this relaxing, no-nonsense vibe that we really appreciated. We went during the fall, and it was so beautiful seeing the vines changing color. The electric blanket made our night cozy and comfortable even when it got chilly.
Aaron was outstanding. His hospitality, knowledge, and genuine passion for his craft really stood out. We enjoyed wine tasting, hanging out in the “vincade,” and my husband watched a bit of Monday Night Football! The wine was fantastic, and we were so impressed we ended up joining the wine club.
The yurt was spacious and comfy, the bed was great, and there was plenty of room for our daughter to crawl around. The portapotty was clean, and everything felt thoughtfully maintained.
Just an overall relaxing, memorable trip. Can’t wait to come back!
