Within 15-20 min drive you will find almost all major attractions in the Santa Cruz area including The Mistery Spot, Nisene Marks State Forest, Capitola Pier, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and many famous surf breaks from Capitola to The Point, The Hook, Steamer Lane and many more., as well as many amazing mountain bike trails. Steve and Ceci are such lovely and down to earth people! Staying at their place was really enchanting, the cabin feels like something out of Snow White-it’s simple but also very detailed and you can tell thought was put in the space. The clawfoot bathtub was wonderful, and despite the winter chill the place managed to stay warm. There’s a bookshelf full of books with California flora and fauna. Their dogs are funny and very active, and there’s maybe about. 60 chickens there? Both domestic and wild. Both the area in the back next to the cows and the highway besides the river were lovely to walk beside and explore. Overall it was a wonderful way to get away from the hustle and hustle of things and relax and explore! Hope to be back soon 💕

Weekend Trip to Dreamy California Coast Airstreams

What a fun and memorable experience! Airstream #1 was clean, cute and comfortable with all the necessities. We very much enjoyed using the fire pit and watching the waves roll in. The location was excellent too - just minutes from town, but on a secluded bluff. We do wish airstream #1 would have been slightly cheaper since it’s the same price as airstream #2 & #3, which both have unobstructed/ larger views and more land space. However, it was still incredibly gorgeous and unique. We really appreciated how communicative Mark was too! We would love to return with friends for more airstream living!

We had the most incredible time at Redwood Basin HipCamp! The A-frame has absolutely amazing views, and the container setup was perfect with a clean restroom, great shower, and a super comfortable sleeping space. The Airstream was cute, fun, and such a unique touch. Our kids loved pitching a tent as well right on the property, and the outdoor kitchen was one of our favorite parts, beautifully stocked and so easy to cook in. The outdoor shower and bath tucked into the redwoods is truly unmatched… such a peaceful, unforgettable experience. And the trampoline in the middle of the trees? So fun! Our whole family had a blast. To top it all off, the host was wonderful, responsive, helpful, and made everything feel easy. We can’t recommend Redwood Basin enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The campsite is spacious, private, and wonderfully quiet — exactly what we were looking for. Our anxious dog actually slept better here than at any other campsite we’ve been to, which says a lot. He didn’t wake up every few minutes to check the surroundings; he was completely at peace. A couple of things to note: the kitchen area could use a bit of attention. Also, make sure to arrive before dark. The driveway is very steep, but my 2WD was able to make it with careful driving. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful spot, and we would definitely come back!

We had such a fun stay at the Room with a View of a Ewe! Kim the host was extremely welcoming and friendly - she showed us around the farm and we got to feed the chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, bunnies, and alpacas. It was a hit with our toddler. The cabin was comfortable and warm overnight, and the breakfast and s’mores kit were an added bonus. Thanks Kim!
