Even though Deep Creek has never had any known cases of amoeba outbreaks, be advised that the warm waters around hot springs can carry a sometimes fatal amoeba.
*Although children are permitted at most sites on the property (children are not permitted at the cabin or spring pool sites), we do not recommend bringing them due to occasional nudity that may be seen in the area and the degree of difficulty for the hike. 3 nights at Three Pines Cabin | Boulder Bay
We loved our stay at Three Pines, Very convenient, inexpensive cabins right in the heart of Boulder Bay, just down the street from Boulder Bay Park and the lake. Just a 15 or 20 minute walk to Big Bear central district, restaurants and activities. Our cabin had a very comfortable bed, cute accommodating kitchen, and a modernized bathroom with excellent hot water and rainfall shower head. The owners were very kind to us on booking, as they were new to the online system, and Hipcamp accidentally double booked, but the owners made room for us on an upgraded cabin at no cost. This made our 3 nights in Big Bear special for me and my daughter. Thank you Three Pines Cabins!

We booked the Little Blue Cabin as a last minute getaway and didn’t realize it would be snowing there, which turned out to be the best surprise! The entire town of Green Valley Lake was so pretty with fresh snow and the cabin kept us so cozy despite being low 30s outside.
Also, the host was absolutely amazing - he messaged me with snow updates and chain requirements to make sure we were equipped to make the drive out there.
The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was an absolutely wonderful stay, and I’m so glad our dog got to experience snow!

Tent was warm and bed was comfy. Would recommend bringing your own linen. Hot showers and flushable toilets were nice. Campsites have everything you need. Juniper flats does allow nudity so don’t come if you think people won’t be doing it… they will be. It was clean and well taken care of, staff was available when needed

the Glamping option had literally everything we needed, even portable solar lights that we were able to use while walking after dark. it was nice returning to a lit camp site as well. The Hot springs themselves were amazing, and right next a colder swim spot to cool off. Jess gave such clear directions for us, even though I had watched YouTube videos before, it was easy to visualize when she pointed out landmarks. We camped on a weekend and were lucky to get to enjoy the rec room tent at night.

We only stayed one night at Melissa’s hilltop bungalow but it truly felt like a full getaway. The location is peaceful and just tucked away enough to feel like an escape, with a glimpse of the lake from the porch and a park nearby where you can launch the kayaks she provides.
The bungalow was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We travel with our yellow lab and loved how dog friendly it was. We cooked, watched movies, and ended the night soaking in the hot tub under the stars.
As a couple who usually camps, this was such a treat. The perfect mix of nature and comfort. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back for a longer stay.

My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time staying in a Glamping tent!
Upon arriving we were welcomed by beautiful views and our helpful & wonderful hosts; Jess and Brent! The Glamping tent was even better than we had expected. It was clean, warm and so spacious! Brent was amazing at checking in and making sure we had everything we needed!
In the evening there is a rec tent/center that has a pool table, a dry sauna, a shower and some other fun activities 😊
It was close to the trail head to the hot springs, which were incredible! I would definitely recommend staying here!

This quaint and cozy home is the perfect get away. The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing get away. The hosts were wonderful and I appreciate that they allowed our canine family members and even provided bowls for the pups. The jacuzzi was the perfect place to relax while the dogs frolicked in the backyard area.

The hospitality of all three gentlemen from arriving late at night at 10, to the new shift guy coming at midnight and the morning guy convincing us to hike the springs, even though my group opted not too. The morning guy made the trip! He was so kind and gave my family carrots to feed the horse and pig. It was great to see the pets while walking up to the tower.
