Tarantula Ranch is located in the Mojave Desert surrounded by BLM land and nearby Death Valley National Park. One of the first vineyards in Nevada, we grow 5 varietals of grapes and make wine on-site. We offer guests camping, glamping, and an RV site.
Camping and Glamping sites are located next to the vines and include picnic tables, shared bathhouse with toilets and shower, outdoor kitchen (bbq, gas cooktop). We also have a community area "The Wine Hall" with ping-pong, shuffleboard, refrigerator, and microwave.
Outside our gates, enjoy biking, hiking, scrambling, and exploring the Amargosa Desert and nearby Skeleton Hills.
Nearby attractions include Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge (30-minutes) and Death Valley National Park (45-minutes). We have spent a lot of time in the park and are happy to answer questions, make suggestions, or even take you on a tour.

Weekend Trip to Tarantula Ranch
We loved our stay at Tarantula Ranch. All of the amenities were great and they offered everything you could possibly need. Perfect blend of comfort and rustic, outdoor charm. Brandon was also very helpful during our booking process.

2 nights at Tarantula Ranch
Everything about this space was fantastic! We were comfortable and happy in our trailer, cozy by the fire, and were able to see so many stars from the oak barrel chairs. The outdoor kitchen and wine hall were great amenities too. There is an outdoor shower as well as a new regular shower and flush toilets. Beware of the three cats who are there to catch rodents, snakes, and scorpions but who really just love to cuddle. Very easy drive to Death Valley and very friendly staff. We would 100% stay again!

1 night at Tarantula Ranch
Tarantula Ranch was an absolute gem! We stayed in a glamping trailer and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Super clean, organized, and lots of amenities available (shower, plumbing, food prep, coffee, etc.). We plan to return when they are able to sell their wine! Highly recommend.

We stopped in at Death Valley National Park on our way from Sequoia National Forest to Las Vegas. We went to the visitors center, Badwater Basin, and Artists Palette.

Furnace creek is a great oasis in the desert. Be sure your site is large enough so all your Rv and other vehicle tires are on concrete. This rule is strictly enforced. Lots to see and do in the park and it was nice to enjoy warm temps in February

Had my first camping trip here and fell absolutely in love with it! Didn’t get to see the stars because it was pouring all night, but still got to go sightseeing.

Death Valley: A totally fascinating contradiction!
A totally fascinating contradiction! Just under the surface this National Park comes to life. There is so much to see if you look closely varieties of plant life, water pockets, birds, and other wildlife.

I would avoid this campground and go somewhere else (Texas springs, Furnace creek, Stovepipe).
Campsites are very close together, no privacy, and it gets WINDY. Not for tents, OK for RVs.

definitely a different park and very in the middle of nowhere. i drove out on a trip to las vegas and don’t regret it but wouldn’t intentionally head back as im a trees and mountains kind of person. the park was very cool though, and we did do a short hike out off one of the parking lots! it was veryyy hot when we went to prepare for that

We camped in Pahrump, NV and drove over for a day trip. Excellent way to spend Black Friday. It got busy after 12pm.
