Oak Glen Glamping
Gary & Susan are the best host anyone could want. First on arrival Gary greeted us and let us park in a little area which would make it easier for us to grab our bags etc. We came during the rainy season, on our last night we woke up to the wash being filled. Susan came out around 2-3am to make sure we were okay and Gary as well. They offered there home to us in case the area was to flood. This was really thoughtful and kind of them to do, they did not need go out of there way to help us but they did. This is what people should be all about caring for one another. They were kind to us the 2 nights we stayed there, always checking if we needed anything. These are some of the most kindest folks I’ve ever met. We were strangers but they still made sure we were comfortable and safe. We know we will be staying here more often on other camping trips! Thank you Gary and Susan! God bless < 3

Poor experience
These people let me reserve the site without disclosing all of their rules and stipulations. Their HipCamp site did not state no food allowed in the Cabin, no allowable source of flame to even boil water. No "legal weapons" allowed. So we packed up a left within 30 minutes are we were in direct violation of their non stated rules. The rules in their hard copy rule book were not stated on their website, although they have now resolved. They only gave me a partial refund as well. Also, their pictures don't show that you will be in direct line of site from the front porch of the main house and that you are right on the road with considerable road noise.

Awesome experience in the gypsy Wag
My two young boys, ( ages 2 and 5) and myself loved camping in the gypsy wagon! The hosts were extremely responsive to all of my request. They answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. They were very respectful of our privacy and also gave us a good orientation to the lay of the land when we arrived. They even gave my boys a couple of tractor toys to play with! The property itself is very close to all the apple picking farms as well as Oak tree Mountain, which has amazing shops, apple pie, and ice cream! Make sure to make a trip there while you’re visiting the wagon. We visited during the cold fall months and their electric heater kept us cozy and warm through the whole night. Make sure to bring sleeping bags and other blankets for your use. Make sure to also bring all the cooking gear you need as it is not provided. There is a large picnic table and lots of chairs to sit on and enjoy your meals. Be aware that there are fire bands throughout fire season. We brought a propane fire pit to make s’mores. Yummy! I highly recommend this property as it is a fun and unique experience to enjoy with your family or with a loved one.

Friendly and clean
Gary and Susan were so accommodating and friendly! The grounds were beautiful and the gypsy wagon was adorable. Everything was very clean and extra effort was given with little extras like a heater, tissue, and sanitizer. It was nice to have electricity and motion lights outside the wagon. There were wild animals, so just be extra cautious, as we were in their territory (mountains). Very pretty atmosphere!

A lovely escape in Apple Country
The Gypsy Wagon was such a fun and unique way to spend our Anniversary weekend! The location couldn't have been better, right on the main road where all our favorite Oak Glen destinations are nestled. Gary and Susan were very kind and helpful hosts. The property is beautiful and feels very private. We hope for the opportunity to return!

Dog friendly beautiful orchard :)
We always look for dog friendly sites with off leash policy to allow our dogs explore and roam more. We loved our stay. The site was absolutely clean and well maintained, the hosts were nice and friendly. The bear poops under apple trees made us a little bit nervous but still good experience. Thank you for having us again.

Peaceful glamping experience
I loved glamping in Gary and Susan's Gypsy Wagon! It was perfect for reading and peaceful relaxing in nature. They were so thoughtful with little provisions, like hand sanitizer, tissue, reading lights, fan, and pillows. Their nature and policies binder were clear and enlightening. I will definitely be coming to stay again!
