Oak Glen Glamping
My partner and I loved staying on Gary and Susan’s land! The stay in the wagon was like something out of a fairytale. The wagon was quite roomy and very cozy. The space in there was utilized so well. Gary gave us a warm welcome shortly after we arrived and told us some of the area’s history and gave us great local recommendations for food, and exploring. I would highly recommend a staying here.

Our family absolutely adored staying at Gary and Susan‘s campsite. The “Reading Wagon” was straight out of a fairytale book. Lovely setting, hosts were amazing, and we will absolutely be back.

Oak Glen Glamping
Gary was a responsive host. When I arrived, he met me driveway and then guided me to the charming gypsy wagon on the side of his beautiful property nestled under oak trees and among the apple orchards. The wagon was cozy, and it provided all I needed for a weekend away.

Very cute place, exactly as pictured. Great communication and Gary was very kind show us around the property. The gypsy wagon was perfect for my boyfriend and I with a functional outhouse. Very beautiful at night with the string lights and we got to explore Oak Glen during the day. Would come back again during apple season!

We had a nice time at Gary’s gypsy wagon. Very cute and unique. Only thing I would say is it’s listed as sleeping 2 adults and 2 small children so we thought it would be a little bigger than it was.
We were 2 adults and 1 (4 year old) child and were extremely cramped trying to sleep
The heater inside was great as it got very cold at night.
Loved all the information provided and leaflets of local things to do and places to visit
Gary was quick to respond to my questions while in site and was very helpful

This place is super cute and comfy! So peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were absolutely delightful and welcoming and Freddy their dog is a sweetie. I would highly recommend it and we will be back.

The little caravan glamping was such a nice escape from the city! Gary was very helpful from the start, and our puppy Rudy absolutely adored playing with their dog, Freddie. The apple trees were beginning to bloom but no fruits yet— it’ll be worth coming back during peak season! Even though the road was nearby, this spot was extremely peaceful and was also secluded enough from Gary and Susan’s residence. Highly recommend a weekend getaway here~

Cute wagon unbelievable details. Beautiful Oak Glen property close to the heart of oak Glen. Would be even more private in late spring-fall when all the trees are leaved out. Bed is carriage was smaller than i had hoped for probably states size in description but I thought it was super cute and booked without considering it would be small and uncomfortable for a 6'1 guy and his gf. Overall if your a smaller couple like both under 5'6 or have other sleeping accommodations this is and awesome setup in a highly desirable area.

Oak Glen Glamping
We had a wonderful experience glamping in Gary and Susan’s cute Wagon! It had everything we needed and the hosts were attentive and accommodating. There are plenty of hikes and cute mountain town activities near by. We would stay here again!

We rented this place for Valentines night because we had reservations nearby at the steakhouse which is literally five minute walking distance of course we didn’t walk because it was cold.
This was such a beautiful romantic experience.
Gary and Susan thought of everything, including warming up the cabin for us before we got there.
Gary welcome that’s when we arrived because we didn’t know exactly where to park although he did give us the instructions ahead of time. It was raining so it’s hard for us to see the signs.
They literally thought of everything you can for accommodating in such an intimate space.
There are a few binders there when you first arrive sharing pictures I love looking at the pictures. But also another binder that explains everything detail by detail. I suggest you read those as soon as you settle in because you’ll be able to the best of your stay as Gary and Susan intended by providing these information.
They are very friendly and respectful of privacy. You will enjoy your stay. My favorite part was hearing the river behind us (literally right behind the wagon) flow through the night.
We loved it here so much.
Thank you Gary and Susan, we hope to visit again.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the cabin is cute and cozy!
We brought extra pillows and blankets from home just I case, but the heater they had in the wagon really warms it up nicely in the winter. It was a lovely little getaway

Gary and Susan were great hosts and their Gypsy wagon was a one of a kind experience being the only one here in the US from the UK! The location is perfect distance to all the best in Oak Glen and the surrounding area is beautiful! I would recommend bringing warm pajamas, sleeping bag, and maybe a sleeping pad/mattress topper for extra comfort in the fall/winter months! Thanks again Gary and Susan for your hospitality!

Me, Corey and our dog Cusco loved to stay at the Gipsy Wagon! Gary was super friendly and he showed us around what to do and where to pick some of his garden apples! We had a lot of fun and we totally recommend it!!

Nice spot for a getaway in Oak Glen! The wagon is very unique and comfortable. It was cold at night but the electric heater in the wagon worked great. RV toilets aren’t my favorite but it was nice to have since digging a foxhole wasn’t really an option.
The site is close to the owners home but it still feels secluded. We were able to back our car right up to the site.
And the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Gary took time to show us around the property and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall I’d definitely stay here again!

The wagon was very cousy and comfortable for two adults and a young child. It remained warm with the electrical system, and we were able to bring some electric kitchen utensils to heat water and food. It is located in the backyard of a beautiful property owned by very welcoming people. They were always willing to give suggestions and very friendly with us and our son. So it was freddy, their little chihuhua Dog.
If you want a place to get a little scape from the Urban life, but still want to be connected to the city and have wifi this is a great place. If you are looking for something more deep in the forest and away from the city, maybe this is not for you.

A magical property in the heart of Oak Glen. The gypsy wagon was such an awesome experience. We had a blast exploring the property, sitting around the picnic table and eating our apple pie from Annie’s Bakery. So delicious . Went apple picking at Los Rios Farm right down the road. Gary and Susan are wonderful hosts. Very warm and welcoming. We even saw a bear! Super exciting and without incident lol. The twinkle lights made it magical. We really enjoyed our little adventure. It’s like tent camping but in a wagon. We brought sleeping bags, an iPad to watch a movie in the evening…..we would definitely return. Lovely experience

Glamping in the Gypsy wagon was a dream! Perfect weekend accommodations for me, my husband, and our two toddlers. This was the our first experience camping with our children and we will cherish the memories forever. Gary and Susan are VERY nice. We hope to be back again next year! Maybe even during winter since there is a heater inside. There is electricity and hose water and they’ve upgraded the outhouse. There are many small details that make this place magical but one convenient thing worth mentioning is that the steakhouse is essentially in their backyard if you don’t mind a little off trail hiking.

Great communication. Wagon was super cute and space was secluded from main house. I was personally looking for something a bit more “removed” but that’s not a reflection of the hosts or the space. Very close to restaurants actually - which is great for what the space is.

Great spot to stay! Gary was very welcoming as soon as I arrived. He gave me a tour of the whole orchard and told me about all the animals that live there. Cozy little gypsy wagon as well and right by some running water. Really enjoyed myself here. Thanks Gary!

We loved glamping on Oak Glen! It was super cute and romantic. Perfect for my partner, dog and I. Gary is very quick to respond and goes over everything in great detail.
Lots of wildlife around! Would recommend. And can’t wait to visit again during Apple season.

Oak Glen Glamping
Sweet small stopover walkable to a few shops and Gary was sweet to show us around & help with parking. Most of Oak Glen downtown was closed but there were a lot of beautiful parks and nature preserves to walk my dog in very close by. Gypsy wagon itself is one of a kind... quite small but in a spacious campground area with tables and fire pit downhill a bit from their house yet still private. "Toilet" is a small bucket in a popup behind the wagon, so very well camoflaged that i didn't see it at all. I was fine but do check the picture to be sure you are and remember there is no running water. Two easy improvements would be to provide 1. a little dustbuster vacuum, as the wagon and tables were tarped & seemed to have been closed up when we got there so it was pretty dusty but a quick vacuum would have easily highlighted the cozy charm and 2. screens would have been great to get some airflow without inviting all the bugs about the orchard in. FYI- there are bears and wildlife that come close by the wagon at night that my dog was a on alert, but we were there in early spring when they were just waking from the winter. Gary gave us a heads up, showed us the fond photo album they've made of "Yogi and the family" and we stayed cozy inside as he suggested. I'm sure if you had a bigger party, were there in a different season or had a more indifferent dog you'd miss the excitement. Overall a charming & friendly spot!
