So peaceful! I'd love to see it in spring when the almonds are blooming. All I could hear was cows mooing in the distance and one coyote howl. It was a great stopover for a couple nights. To find it, you turn right onto a small gravel drive off of Crocker. If you get to W. Undine you've gone too far. The pad is covered in largish chunks of recycled concrete. My car and little camper handled it fine, though. There is water, 30A & 50A power and sewer. Bring drinking water, because even with an inline filter the water came out rusty. If you get a chance, stop by the office and pick up some raw walnuts and excellent biscotti.

What an amazing place to stay! We did a spontaneous honeymoon getaway trip right after our wedding (no plans just spontaneous decision making) so we decided on staying at the foxes getaway and it did not disappoint. The apple turnovers are to DIE for and the house was adorable. We did have our two little doxies with us and they loved being able to graze the yard. The cute little town of galt was nearby and we explored the area (great ice cream). Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to stay and the couple who lives there was welcoming as well as kind. I couldn’t have been happier with the decision. Tips for those who want to visit: fridge space is small so be considerate of that and it’s a tiny home so don’t bring too much luggage.

My wife and I stayed for about 4 months, we loved it. Jaqueline was very friendly and they have the best pecans and walnuts that you can purchase! The only problem was the rocks and our pets feet. But we worked around that and they eventually got use to it. Water and electric hookups came in handy. I hope to stay again!

Weekend Trip to Ascension Ranch

I am writing this review to warn everyone that there is no longer a tent/yurt set up at Lovers Creek. When I asked the man about it, he said that a guest had brought the tent it wasn't included in the site, which is a lie if you look at all the reviews and pics there used to be a tent that stayed on the wooden platform. Luckily I brought my tent just in case so we didn't need to leave. The road getting onto his property is very narrow and beautiful and I wouldn't have been comfortable taking my car, I was glad to have a truck. The restroom is down at the "entrance" and a 10 min walk to the Lovers Creek site. We took the truck each time. There were cute animals to see on the property. Roads are very dusty! The best part about this place and the main reason I might come back is for the privacy. After check in, no one bothered us and the nearest campsite maybe 500 feet away across the other side.

Loved the environment for my kids! Great swing and trampoline! They had such a fun summery time. It was like a mini paradise getaway for us for a couple nights. This was our 2nd trip to the Meadows. Very rustic. it is quiet and very relaxing. Close to town so walking is very doable. we had a good dinner at Peters Steak House, it was good, not excellent. However the waitress was a lot of fun and we enjoyed our experience. Juat know when camping at the meadows, the only amentie is the outhouswe.

I wanted a place where the kids and I could unplug from phones, xbox and tv and relax. The also wanted to sleep under the stars in the back of the truck bed so I found a safe spot to do that! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and sweet hosts Steve and Kat!! The kids had a blast and didn’t complain once that they were bored! The cabin in super cute and comfy and you have alot of space to enjoy. Oh if you go I highly recommend the delicious breakfast of sourdough waffles 😋🤌🏽 We definitely will be back as a family and will recommend to friends!! Thanks again to our new friends Steve and Kat you guys are the best!! 💞

Weekend Trip to Ascension Ranch

The campsite was in a beautiful location with plenty of room for our 7 tents and 15 people. The lake was a short walk (10 mins) and refreshing after a hiking. There were several other camping sites nearby but it was so quiet and private. That being said, the bathroom was very far away. Too far from this campsite to walk so we ended up driving a lot. Only one of the two bathrooms was operational. Also, there was stinging nettle everywhere. We worked around but had to wear hiking shoes and socks to go anywhere on the property.
