Come prepared for a rugged but exclusive experience. When it's to busy at the Bridgeport state parks, keep going 2 miles and come here. This really is a Yuba lover's Shangri-La. Stay in one of our 3 teak wood Bali huts, bring your Sprinter van or pitch a tent in one our our numerous scattered camping spots by the big meadow. This is dry camping so bring water and your kitchen. A porta party is provided near the yurt. Be mindful of poison oak and please dive 10mph on the gravel road to keep dust down for my neighbors and enjoy the only privets south yuba river access in Hipcamp responsibly. Pack out what you lack in and absolutely no open fire on the property. Propane grill are fine. If you’re adventurous minded this doesn’t disappoint.

We have an organic garden you can help yourself to, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen area. We are close to many lakes that offer, kayaking, fishing, boating and swimming. There are many local farmers markets as close as 1/2 mile. Wildlife on property and hiking trails. Blackberries are ripe in July and the garden vegetables come in from May to October. Quiet, expansive open camping area with beautiful views of the hills. We had a full moon which was beautiful. The walk down to the river (about 2m and 900 vertical feet) is not easy but the payoff is very handsome. Gorgeous swimming holes all to yourself. Akhi was a great host, very communicative. 🙏

3 nights at BALI HUTS ON PRIVATE YUBA

Akhi’s place was amazing!! We had such a lovely time, and the campsite was perfect for us. Located under some beautiful tree cover with plenty of shade, we had a wonderful 3 days with our family. Boro gave us a private ATV tour of the property and swim sites, which was so awesome of him. We’ve already booked our next stay!! Can’t wait to go back.

The grounds of this campsite are serene. The hike down to the river is worth the trek to soak up the sun and take a refreshing dip. The staff are very welcoming and will guide you around the grounds as need. The Bali huts are intricately carved and beautiful. We never got the meet the host, Ahki, instead we met Boro and Aldo who made us feel right at home.

Beautiful site. Peaceful, private and quiet. We strolled around and enjoyed the view from the hills. We saw quail, ducks, and a blue heron at the pond. And heard frogs and owls at night. Perfect big dipper skies. Akhi and the other farm folks were super friendly and helped us get situated.

Arrived late after dark, Scott helped get me to the best site for my truck. Camped out under the dark sky watching the stars. Awoke the next morning to beautiful bird songs, spring flowers and a gorgeous sunrise. The site is nice place to use as a base to explore waterfall hiking in the area.
