Come stay with us on our serene 6-acre property nestled in Beautiful Northern California. Conveniently located halfway between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, we offer easy access to both urban and natural attractions. A mere 10-minute drive takes you to the breathtaking Yuba River, the charming Victorian town of Nevada City, and the historic Gold Rush town of Grass Valley. Our property, situated off Newtown Road, is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy cycling along this popular street biking road with a dedicated path. Marvel at the stunning sunsets and expansive night sky perfect for stargazing. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to our sanctuary, where deer roam freely and tranquility abounds. Birdwatchers will delight in the diverse avian population. Just 2 miles away, you'll find the Roadside Steakhouse called The Willow, along with a convenient small store for any essentials you may need.Sunset site is in our driveway overlooking our sunset view , and open sky, listen to the birds ,watch geese fly over , and after sunset enjoy the full night sky’s view of different constellations and the Milky Way , peaceful and beautiful with deer walking thru property.we are happy to host Tent campers. Please bring own potable potty and comfy bedding on gravel driveway.

Perfect location for camping out under the stars and close to Nevada City. host were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely go back next time I visit.

Lovely private driveway, almost level with a few planks and easy set up for 20 amp+ electric. The sitting area overlooking the hills is very inviting. We were greeted by a nice host and sound sleep.

This was a wonderfully quiet and restful HipCamp. We loved the super convenient location and the important amenities like water and power. The hosts were genuinely caring. We didn't need anything, but they were very willing. Their good energy was very apparent in the garden. Highly recommended this spot.👍

A nice site with great hosts. It was quiet and convenient to get to Grass valley or Nevada City within 10 minutes. They had a great recommendation of a place to eat. I went to Sushi in the Raw, and got groceries next door to the restaurant. Trails for hiking and biking were also a ten minute drive.

This is a great spot for self-contained campers to settle in for the night. The host provides running water, electricity, seating, and shaded areas, all with a beautiful view. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering us a full itinerary for our tahoe trip.

Our hosts were amazing and their property is gorgeous. My only suggestion would be to be more up front about the space being a driveway, not a formal ‘campsite’. With a few tweaks, it can be a gorgeous spot, maybe a wee bit of shade would be really beneficial. We appreciated their hospitality very much. Thank you Susan!
