Surrounded by a 140-acre privately owned nature preserve on two sides, you'll relish in abundant wildlife sightings and the serenity of nature, away from the crowds. You'll have access to filtered drinking water from a hose and spigot, along with breathtaking mountain views and almost complete privacy, as vehicle traffic is minimal, limited to ours and our neighbors', which is set back from the pasture but partially visible. This space can accommodate a maximum of 15 vehicles, with an option for overflow parking for larger parties. This is the perfect spot to host a private group camp where you can enjoy nature while being close to town. This is NOT the place to throw your alcohol fueled party or bring any sort of guns. We are about 7 minutes South of Middletown proper. We do have neighbors so noise is acceptable until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. We provide compost, recycling, and trash options, and it's ESSENTIAL to use the correct receptacle. Please note that our portion of the property is home to horses, dogs, and chickens, which you will briefly pass through before entering your fully fenced pasture. We also have concerts a half a dozen days out of the year on our island. Our 32 acre Winery is located about 30 miles East of Sacramento on I-80. Just 2 miles from our beautiful bustling Old Town Auburn. Where you will find restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, breweries and more. We are one of the oldest, and largest commercial wineries in Placer County. During the Pandemic our family built bridges that access an island that was hidden with berry bushes for over 40 years. It's amazing what a couple of chainsaws and a Kubuta tractor can accomplish in a couple months. We have a flushable toilet and sink available with a shade structure and some pic-nic tables under gazebos. There is enough seating to sit almost 200 people on our island. Equipped with a concrete stage and dance floor, wine bar with Hard Cider on tap (seasonal.) We have 3 bridges that connect the island for a small loop. It's about 2 football fields long. There is a community fire pit in the middle of the island (sorry no fire pits allowed in the parking lot or any other area.) BBQ's are welcome! Also corn hole is provided when the weather is nice. There are cows that roam about half of our property, along with wild turkeys, coyotes, rabbits and other wild animals that live among us. The camping spots are in our gravel parking lot that easily accesses the island. You're more than welcome to book your stay for that time as well.

We also have concerts a half a dozen days out of the year on our island. Our 32 acre Winery is located about 30 miles East of Sacramento on I-80. Just 2 miles from our beautiful bustling Old Town Auburn. Where you will find restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, breweries and more. We are one of the oldest, and largest commercial wineries in Placer County. During the Pandemic our family built bridges that access an island that was hidden with berry bushes for over 40 years. It's amazing what a couple of chainsaws and a Kubuta tractor can accomplish in a couple months. We have a flushable toilet and sink available with a shade structure and some pic-nic tables under gazebos. There is enough seating to sit almost 200 people on our island. Equipped with a concrete stage and dance floor, wine bar with Hard Cider on tap (seasonal.) We have 3 bridges that connect the island for a small loop. It's about 2 football fields long. There is a community fire pit in the middle of the island (sorry no fire pits allowed in the parking lot or any other area.) BBQ's are welcome! Also corn hole is provided when the weather is nice. There are cows that roam about half of our property, along with wild turkeys, coyotes, rabbits and other wild animals that live among us. The camping spots are in our gravel parking lot that easily accesses the island. You're more than welcome to book your stay for that time as well.

I absolutely loved camping on Mary’s land. They had everything we needed, including electrical and water hookups, which made the stay really comfortable. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and the sound of the creek nearby was beautiful and so relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

10/10 recommend! Mike was very kind and understanding of our late arrival. We were the only campers there so we got the pick of the land. We chose a spot where we could listen to the creek all day and night, beautiful and peaceful. Plan to bring a portable toilet and fire pit. However, there are plenty of rocks around to build a fire pit as well. Mike even brought us down some fire wood!

What a beautiful spot! We were in our camper van on the river. The birds and sounds from the river were beautiful and though the road is close the sound didn’t bother us. We walked all over the grounds, very lush this time of year! Our dog had a great time too.

The staff was amazing and super welcoming. Originally booked for a tent site, but due to weather conditions, decided we wanted a cabin instead. The staff thankfully accommodate us and upgraded our stay. It rained on and off during the entirety of our stay. But regardless, we were satisfied with all the activities and space that Mandala Springs provided to give us a peaceful and wholesome experience.

The staff were very helpful and polite. I only wish they would mention on their website they no longer provide fire rings. You will have to bring your own if you want to have a fire. The pool was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. Note to self. We will make sure to place our RV the farthest point possible away from the road. We could hear cars whizzing by at night.

Weekend Trip to Griffin Holler

We had a great time here. The location is very private and scenic, far away from anyone else. Brian was very helpful in answering any questions and detailed in instructions for the stay. Based on the hills and road surface coming in and out, definitely would make sure to have 4WD and good tire tread if there was any hint of rain on the roads. Our cars were fine, but all were midsize SUV or more capable. Will definitely plan to come back in the future!

For one mike was a good host, he helped give us a layout of his property. And hook us up on a great spot right next to the water. The place is beautiful and relaxing and at night, you can hear every little creature and bug out there, which was awesome.
