If you think you may have problems with any of these things PLEASE DON'T COME!!! We also have a dog named Sara that loves people. Most campers that come are very happy to have her around. She is polite and good with children. Some of you may not like dogs, if that is the case this will not be a fun experience for you. We loved staying on the farm with all of the rescued animals. We even got to feed them. Our kids loved petting the animals and spending time on the farm. Host Shanna was very welcoming and kind. She even provided us firewood and helped with some electrical issues with our RV. Beautiful sanctuary farm away from the hustle and bustle! We are already looking forward to a return visit in the near future :)

We had a great one night stay at RockNWater Cove Camping! We stayed in Curley w/ an RV but definitely want to return to camp at one of the tent spots. The hosts, Kris and her husband, were super nice and answered lots of questions we had. The river access is really pretty w/ a nice beach area. Plusses are flush toilets, showers, propane fire pits with propane provided, potable water and electric hook ups. Looking forward to going back next summer!

What I loved about the Farm View site was an electric hook up and the use of a clean bathroom and shower. Please note this is a farming community with chickens (roosters) and dogs in the neighborhood. That is the noise that is around. There are other people on the property at other sites. Kat is super accommodating and nice. I have stayed here twice and hope to be back.

We had a nice quiet stay last night on one of the RV sites. Easy in and out, with a dump site if we would’ve needed it. Would definitely stay again thanks so much and the turnovers were delicious..

We loved camping here, the bathrooms were close & clean. River was beautiful. Camped here for 1 night on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. Went to the river the next morning and it was just us. Great spot!

We had a wonderful stay! The campsite is set in a quiet and naturally beautiful spot along the American River — peaceful and relaxing with gorgeous scenery all around. The hosts were fantastic — very welcoming with great communication, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect for hiking, with easy access to nearby trails. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with great hosts and plenty of nature to enjoy!

Super easy check in and check out. Camp site was perfect though a little close to the neighbors. Showers, restrooms and trash cans were all well maintained. Food and coffee was close. The river is pretty amazing. If the camp sites by the river are full, it can get a little crowded and noisy down there. Epic place. Hosts were awesome

Some of the best opportunities for outdoor exploration in the Davis area are situated in the massive Eldorado National Forest, an hour or so’s drive east of the city. Auburn State Recreation Area
