We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. There is a beautiful holistic gift store, The Sea Trader, Four Eyed Frog Bookstore, and some lovely art galleries in town.   Kayaking is available at the Gualala River. Hiking at Gualala Regional Park, the Bluff Trail, The Sea Ranch public access beaches, Stump Beach, Salt Point Park with a petrified forest, Bowling Ball Beach with its amazing natural formations (can only be seen fully at low tide of more than -0.2m), Manchester State Beach, Elk Beach, and more. Swimming at the Navarro River, and various bays. It is a place of incredible scenic beauty all along CA 1. Watch whales spouting during whale season. (Gray whales and orcas is December to May. For humpbacks, visit May through November, and for blue whales, the largest animal on Earth, plan your stay between July and October). Bower Park, just 0.5 miles away with a lovely lake, tennis courts, a baseball field, a basketball court, and two separate playgrounds. Play disc golf or hike along the nature trail/fitness course. Anchor Bay is 5 miles up CA 1, with a supermarket, a few cafes, restaurants (including a great Thai place!) laundromat, hair salon, and more. The quaint town of Point Arena is 12 miles north, with a supermarket, Frannie's Cup And Saucer, The Bird Cafe, a beautiful historic lighthouse, a theater, a pier, a mini-safari park (B Bryan Preserve with zebras, giraffes and more. Tours need to be booked in advance). Also visit Roots, a natural pharmacy for herbs, teas and supplements.  There are also spots like Occidental, Bodega Bay, Jenner (with the Russian River to kayak and swim) and Timber Cove, all on the way to Gualala from the south. What a groovy place to camp where you're not surrounded by people! My husband and I reserved Kimball Farm for 3 nights and it did not disappoint. The electric and water hooks ups were great with our 20 ft trailer and the views and sounds of farm life were magic. We super enjoyed our cellar and wine tasting experience as well - we will definitely stay again!

This place was absolutely fantastic! The drive in is a long "just keep swimming" ordeal, but once you get there, you've arrived at a cute little quiet tranquil rest stop in the forest. The bathhouse has a nice tub, hot shower, and hot sauna, it's clean and comfortable. Some campsites are close to others, and some a bit more remote and pulled back. Clean communal kitchen with stove, cookware, utensils, etc. Owners are very nice, and there's even a cute map of the property. Totally worth it. I'd recommend at least two nights as there's so much to explore and do here!

What a beautiful spot! We were in our camper van on the river. The birds and sounds from the river were beautiful and though the road is close the sound didn’t bother us. We walked all over the grounds, very lush this time of year! Our dog had a great time too.

We had a wonderful stay, and this is a first rate Hipcamp site! Lorri is a great host with a well managed property! She is very helpful and responsive for anything you need. Her property is the perfect central location for checking out Healdsburg and surrounding towns. Little Vineyard 91B site 2 is a sweet spot with views of the property’s cute, quiet neighbor houses, barn, the little vineyard, and the long gray neighbor shed. It is easy enough on the eyes. There are many new plants, so Lorri’s place will only get better as time goes by. Parking space is wide and level! There is open space on the awning side view. Freeway sounds were not too bad for us, but as tolerable as you are sensitive to it. Utilities are a little wide apart, with sewer behind and electrical in front of our 21-foot camper. We made it without extra length, but bring extra utility lines if needed. Highly recommended!

Definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle to get to the property. Have your directions downloaded before you pass the high school. Our Subaru was up for the task! The property is gorgeous and very secluded. We brought our 8 year old boy and dog. We were super lucky to have the entire camp site to ourselves the entire weekend. The temperature at night was almost freezing, so the sauna and shower made it much more tolerable. The sauna was by far the highlight of the trip for me besides being with my family unplugged! Epic stargazing at the point camp site. Having a kitchen to make a full meal for each meal was a luxury. The kitchen has everything you need to cook minus ingredients. Bring your own oil/spices etc. Also, pack out what you pack in. Meaning, there isn’t a garbage facility/ site dumpster. Also, there is really only 1 running toilet that we could find by the kitchen. I could see this being annoying in a large group setting, although having a toilet at all is a luxury when camping. If you’re a BBQ enthusiast, bring your own grill, there isn’t one to use on the property. Make sure to bring tick repellant/ check yourselves (especially dogs) regularly. We pulled a dozen off our dog and bodies. Highly recommend this spot for a weekend getaway! We loved it and will certainly be back, as a couple, as a family and with friends for sure!!

A beautiful place to come in the fall. Weather was warm during the day the forest hikes and waterfall were beautiful. Having a bath house with a sauna was a real treat. Be prepared for the long dirt road up to the property. Lots of potholes, steep hills, and turns, you need daylight and patience.

Great spot for enjoying Healdsburg, wine country, and the surrounding area. It’s hard to find places to park so close to town, we’re so happy to have discovered this one. It’s level on gravel, has a picnic table and a nice view of a little vineyard. Best of all - full hookups. Lorri is kind and welcoming, making sure we were settled in and offering wine tasting coupons. Looking forward to our next stay!

After a week in the bustle of Carmel and Carmel Valley we needed a quiet place to stay going north. A three plus hour drive to the ranch was enough. Having a perfect place to camp by ourselves and not having to deal with anyone was ideal. A few cows came up the fence and checked us out. The night was dark and very quiet and being treated as a capable adults and taking care of ourselves was ideal. Will definitely stay there again.

This place may not be for everyone, but for two dual sport motorcycle campers shut out of “normal” campgrounds due to the government shutdown, it was perfect. Kind of a steampunk vibe with lots of concrete and steel, with a view of the Stony Gorge Reservoir spillway. It is central to some fantastic motorcycle riding.

This is an incredibly special place. The land itself is spectacular, with some of the most stunning views I’ve seen. Campsites are spread out and each very sweet. We bought out the whole place for a big group of families. Kids ranging from 2-10, and they couldn’t have been happier. And the amenities are the best! Chris has done such a nice job with the sauna house and outdoor shower and kitchen. Perfect gathering places. The coyotes, birds, and wild horses were wildlife highlights for us all. Stargazing is awesome as it’s far from most light pollution. Note that the road is rough and took us 35 mins in a truck, but our two kids who get carsick a lot were fine with a little Dramamine.

Huge area to choose a spot to camp. Plenty of trees for hammock camping and lots of flat area for tents. Common area was super cool with a HOT outdoor shower. Shower does have walls that cover your torso and stuff, but it's not completely enclosed. Shared kitchen facilities, fridge, freezer, etc. all pretty top notch for a hipcamp spot. Two flush toilets in a shed structure with a lockable door. Would love a sink in there :) Super, super friendly and hospitable hosts.

Where to go

Clearlake Surrounds

Redbud Park offers a boat launch and fishing pier right in Clearlake. There are additional parks and marinas surrounding the lake, including those with boat, jet ski, and kayak rentals. RV travelers will find a good selection of RV parks near Clearlake, many with full hookups.

Clear Lake State Park

Clear Lake State Park makes a great camping or day-trip destination on the lake’s south shore. Set 30 minutes from Clearlake, the campgrounds here have tent and RV sites with picnic tables, fire rings, restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Cabins are available too. The park features hiking and biking trails, as well as a designated lake swimming area.

Mount Konocti County Park

The distinctive peak seen looming over Clear Lake is Mount Konocti, a 4,305-foot volcano. Summit its various crater peaks at Mount Konocti County Park—just come with lots of water and sun protection, and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of Clear Lake and the surrounding region. Further south, more adventure can be found at Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument.

Mendocino National Forest

For deep nature immersion, check out the Mendocino National Forest, which starts just north of Clearlake. The Snow Mountain Wilderness section has many trailheads and campgrounds to explore.

When to go

You can camp out at Clearlake year-round. Summer is the busy season, when temperatures can reach the mid-90s and campsite shade is a must. Moderate weather makes spring and fall especially nice, as spring visitors can enjoy greener terrain and wildflowers, while fall visitors can watch the area’s oak trees change colors and visit wineries during harvest.
