The Glade - Large Tent / Van Site
The dog and I loved our little spot at Larkspur's Hollow. It's obvious how much the owners love and respect their land, and want to share it with others.
Pros:
- Kind welcome and genuine care from the owners
- Potable water, electricity, picnic table/benches right at site
- Clean porta potty 20 steps away
- Charming string lights on a DIMMER for max vibes!!
- Sweet, artsy touches everywhere :)
- Visit the Sunday market at the nearby school for local breads, granola, jam, produce
Keep in Mind:
- You will see other campers and the owners. This is not a problem unless you're going for a hermit experience!
- You will hear vehicles pass, periodically. Ditto the porta potty door closing. Earplugs are helpful to have on hand if you're a light sleeper like me :)

The hosts were very gracious as we didn’t get into camp until later than expected due to traffic. They even upgraded our campsite and let us have a later check out so we could enjoy the site longer. The grounds were so well kept and it was a little hidden gem near the coast!

A darling campground!

The Glade - Large Tent / Van Site
We stayed in our van at the Glade, and it was a nice set up. There was running water, power, a picnic table, and string lights for ambiance. The stars of the show at this campground are the tent sites. They look like fairy gardens. The porta potty (aka Honey Bucket) is literally the cleanest I’ve ever been in. The basket of feminine care products in the Honey Bucket was a thoughtful touch. It’s quiet and peaceful, and we slept like the dead. In the morning, we stood outside chatting with other campers, drinking coffee, and enjoying the warm sun peeking through the fog. It was a magical way to start the day.

Magical fairies and family memories

We loved our time spent at the Hollows in Larkspur. The fairies were abundant and the site was well appointed with sufficient water and electricity which we appreciated. It was perfectly sized for two tents and a group of eight to sit around and chat in the cute little cove, covered in ferns and trees. We would certainly be back.

A hidden gem tucked into a beautiful forest just ten minutes from the coast. The tall trees and peaceful surroundings make it hard to believe the ocean is so close.
Each campsite is well-organized with clear signage, a comfortable hangout area, and a flat, designated tent pad — no guesswork or uneven ground to deal with. Amenities are simple but solid: tap water on-site and a well-lit porta potty.
Having the hosts present throughout our stay was a nice touch. it made the whole experience feel welcoming and well-managed.
Would absolutely return.

This was the cutest, most comfie campsite. The adorable mushrooms and gnomes made it even better! Our site was The Hollow and had nooks and crannies for privacy and fun with our friends. Close to the beach, just a short drive. There’s power at the site and a clean port-a-potty. Running water and a lovely wooden table. The lights were beautiful also!

We had a very nice time--this was one of the best Hipcamps we've been to! Truly a magical lit experience under the trees. A dreamy location with the fog and fresh tree air. The host was wonderful, she greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. She was very responsive when we sent some questions ahead of time, specifically if there was cell service. She quickly responded with options and said there is also WiFi, which was pretty good. We needed to keep in touch with my elderly dad. Larkspur Hollow was a perfect spot for a much needed getaway to be with trees and quiet time. The Honey Bucket was clean and well stocked. If you need just to chill, this is the place!

Sweet spot. We loved the lights and the fairy gardens throughout. The porta potty was clean and stocked. You are on someone’s property (very nice people) not the in a large forest, but your little campsite feels private. It is a short drive to beautiful views and beaches.

Our experience was wonderful. Super sweet campsites shaded by gorgeous redwoods and lit by fairy lights. Olivia was responsive and accommodating. Lovely to chat with her, her partner, and brother. It's a wonderful location and was exactly what we hoped. We had 3 tents with 5 adults, a baby, and small dog. Everything was great... we'd definitely stay there again.

I had a lovely visit to Olivia's property. It's quiet, private and the drive up was stunning. It's clear the hosts have put a ton of effort into making this a comfortable place to camp. String lights and cute hide-outs everywhere and porta potty was spotless. Olivia and her brother are very kind and welcoming. I look forward to returning.

Beautiful spot with the most gracious hosts! The site was adorable, strung up with lights, and sweetly tucked into the trees. The porta potty was super clean. The location is incredible. So close to many gorgeous gorgeous beaches, but also warmer because it was a bit inland. And best of all were the gracious hosts they checked in on us, but we’re never nosy and helped us with various small things we needed. I recommend!

Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Campsite was cozy, clean, and well lit with some nice string light ambiance. Very short drive to an empty beach nearby for a nice sunset. Will be returning!

What a lovely spot. It was peaceful and quiet, the hosts were kind. The redwood grove off to the side had a picnic table and string lights and is an absolutely gorgeous place to take in nature.

We stayed at the Glade campground which was lovely. WiFi great! Power to charge, nice water tap. Toilet right there - very clean. Everything is adorable. The table on this site is cute but very small. We got lucky and no one was staying in the Hollow so we were allowed to use that site which had a nice very private area with a standard picnic table. If we came back we would reserve this spot. Charlie was the person on hand and he was helpful to explain how things worked.

Lovely October redwoods site

We really enjoyed our two night October camping trip. The private campsite in the redwoods was very pretty and every thing was set up with a lot of care, including carefully planted plants, tended paths, and cute ceramic toadstools. Its a beautiful location and a quick trip down the hill to explore the Coast. Our dog Kona loved it too.
