Step into the magic of Larkspur’s Hollow! We welcome you from our peaceful campground under redwoods and pine, in our beautiful four acre backyard we are so pleased to be able to share with you! Just a mile from the ocean you'll find gorgeous beaches, scenic hiking, biking trails and more! Our camp is nestled at a temperate 1,000 feet, offering an ideal escape from the summer heat in a peaceful setting. Just a short drive and you can find a general store, gas station, local dining and more! Let your next camping adventure be a memorable one! We can’t wait to welcome you to Larkspur’s Hollow Campground and Fairy Gardens! Rules and FAQ: Leave No Trace is a general rule for all campgrounds, including ours. Pick up your trash and pick up after your pets, please. Pack-In, Pack-Out Policy means do not leave trash in our personal can or on the premises. This attracts wildlife and can pollute our campgrounds in turn. Note for Vehicles: For RV sites, we only allow vehicles 22 feet and under, please 4WD is recommended on our dirt road, but not required Fire safety: Absolutely no open flames, including campfires, candles, torches or fireworks etc. Modern propane cooking stoves and propane fire pits are permitted if they are over 10' away from branches and are being carefully monitored. Regarding Wildlife: No mushroom hunting. Many wild mushrooms can be toxic and harvesting disrupts the ecosystem. Respect wildlife. Avoid feeding or disturbing animals, observe from a distance. Please stay on designated paths, stick to established trails and clearings. If soap is necessary, use biodegradable soap to avoid contaminating the land and underground water sources. Other Information: Quiet hours 9 PM to 7 AM and bright lights out after 10 PM (flashlights are fine and encouraged to navigate to restroom). Wi-Fi is available free of charge, password is located in your welcome message. Please do note that this is also where we live while we run our campground, so you may see us during the day working in the gardens or by our cabin but we do our best to leave you be.

We had a very nice time--this was one of the best Hipcamps we've been to! Truly a magical lit experience under the trees. A dreamy location with the fog and fresh tree air. The host was wonderful, she greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. She was very responsive when we sent some questions ahead of time, specifically if there was cell service. She quickly responded with options and said there is also WiFi, which was pretty good. We needed to keep in touch with my elderly dad. Larkspur Hollow was a perfect spot for a much needed getaway to be with trees and quiet time. The Honey Bucket was clean and well stocked. If you need just to chill, this is the place!

Sweet spot. We loved the lights and the fairy gardens throughout. The porta potty was clean and stocked. You are on someone’s property (very nice people) not the in a large forest, but your little campsite feels private. It is a short drive to beautiful views and beaches.

Our experience was wonderful. Super sweet campsites shaded by gorgeous redwoods and lit by fairy lights. Olivia was responsive and accommodating. Lovely to chat with her, her partner, and brother. It's a wonderful location and was exactly what we hoped. We had 3 tents with 5 adults, a baby, and small dog. Everything was great... we'd definitely stay there again.

I had a lovely visit to Olivia's property. It's quiet, private and the drive up was stunning. It's clear the hosts have put a ton of effort into making this a comfortable place to camp. String lights and cute hide-outs everywhere and porta potty was spotless. Olivia and her brother are very kind and welcoming. I look forward to returning.

Beautiful spot with the most gracious hosts! The site was adorable, strung up with lights, and sweetly tucked into the trees. The porta potty was super clean. The location is incredible. So close to many gorgeous gorgeous beaches, but also warmer because it was a bit inland. And best of all were the gracious hosts they checked in on us, but we’re never nosy and helped us with various small things we needed. I recommend!

Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Campsite was cozy, clean, and well lit with some nice string light ambiance. Very short drive to an empty beach nearby for a nice sunset. Will be returning!

What a lovely spot. It was peaceful and quiet, the hosts were kind. The redwood grove off to the side had a picnic table and string lights and is an absolutely gorgeous place to take in nature.

We stayed at the Glade campground which was lovely. WiFi great! Power to charge, nice water tap. Toilet right there - very clean. Everything is adorable. The table on this site is cute but very small. We got lucky and no one was staying in the Hollow so we were allowed to use that site which had a nice very private area with a standard picnic table. If we came back we would reserve this spot. Charlie was the person on hand and he was helpful to explain how things worked.

Lovely October redwoods site

We really enjoyed our two night October camping trip. The private campsite in the redwoods was very pretty and every thing was set up with a lot of care, including carefully planted plants, tended paths, and cute ceramic toadstools. Its a beautiful location and a quick trip down the hill to explore the Coast. Our dog Kona loved it too.
