Step into the magic of Larkspur’s Hollow! We welcome you from our peaceful campground under redwoods and pine, an experience we gladly share with you! Just a mile from the ocean you'll find gorgeous beaches, scenic hiking, biking trails and more! Our camp is nestled at a temperate 1,000 feet, offering an ideal escape from the summer heat in a peaceful setting. Just a short drive and you can find a general store, gas station, local dining and more! Let your next camping adventure be a memorable one! We can’t wait to welcome you to Larkspur’s Hollow! Weekday pricing and long stay discounts in effect! Rules and FAQ: Vehicles: • Camper vans or RVs 24 feet and under please • 4WD is recommended but not required Fire safety: • Absolutely no open flames, including campfires, candles, torches or fireworks etc. • Modern propane cooking stoves and propane fire pits are permitted if they are over 10' away from trees and are being constantly monitored. Wildlife: • No mushroom hunting. Many wild mushrooms can be toxic and harvesting disrupts the ecosystem. • Respect wildlife. Avoid feeding or disturbing animals, observe from a distance • Stay on designated paths, stick to established trails and clearings. • If soap is necessary, use biodegradable soap to avoid contaminating the land and nearby water sources. Other: • Quiet hours 9 PM to 7 AM • Bright lights out after 10 PM • Our guest WiFi is available, simply connect at any time!

Our most private spot, The Hollow feels like a hidden woodland realm. Camp under the towering Redwoods in this beautiful forest oasis. The flat, shaded terrain offers a natural sanctuary, where dappled sunlight plays through the dense canopy. There's a mystical air to this place—one that suggests tiny doors tucked into tree trunks and unseen creatures watching from the underbrush. If ever there were a place where gnomes might gather and whisper secrets, The Hollow would be it. Guests will enjoy a private campsite, but please note there may be groups and hosts visible at times. What a lovely spot. It was peaceful and quiet, the hosts were kind. The redwood grove off to the side had a picnic table and string lights and is an absolutely gorgeous place to take in nature.

The Glade - Large Tent / Van Site
We stayed at the Glade campground which was lovely. WiFi great! Power to charge, nice water tap. Toilet right there - very clean. Everything is adorable. The table on this site is cute but very small. We got lucky and no one was staying in the Hollow so we were allowed to use that site which had a nice very private area with a standard picnic table. If we came back we would reserve this spot. Charlie was the person on hand and he was helpful to explain how things worked.

Lovely October redwoods site

We really enjoyed our two night October camping trip. The private campsite in the redwoods was very pretty and every thing was set up with a lot of care, including carefully planted plants, tended paths, and cute ceramic toadstools. Its a beautiful location and a quick trip down the hill to explore the Coast. Our dog Kona loved it too.
