Weekend Trip to Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden

Super sweet and interesting place. We appreciated the art installations, open spaces, and history. Extra points for being dog friendly! Everyone was nice and helpful…and there was an air of freedom that’s missing from most state and national park campgrounds. All in all, a great experience and we would recommend to others looking for a place in the area.

Had a great time here! Caught fish, used the canoe and paddle boat. Loved pulling the 5th wheel right up to the water. Kids had a great time and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your property! Only thing we’d love to see added for the future is a picnic table, but otherwise the extra amenities were much appreciated!

3 nights at Glitter Cove Retreat

We had a great time at Glitter Cove! The dogs were able to explore, swim, and run to their hearts content. Cindy was the best host! Excellent directions and all the necessities were there waiting for us. The grill was perfect for cooking, bed was super comfy, and the surrounding area was just beautiful. My favorite spot was the swimming hole. The dogs didn’t want to leave. Cindy was very responsive to messages before and during our stay. Will def come again!!

Weekend Trip to Strange Ranch - River and Gold

I had a great camping experience this past weekend! Terry was an excellent host — very welcoming and generous with firewood and helpful tips about the area. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, being out in the fresh air surrounded by beautiful scenery made it all worth it. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful outdoor getaway.

Nice camping spot, reasonable price. Wash water, sunny dish racks, super clean portable toilet, fire pit, wood and kindling all around to collect and burn, trees, shade, privacy screens in campsites, art instillations, responsive friendly hosts, drinking water, ceramics studio, winery, summer concert series?!!! Weekend Trip to San Pedro Ranch

The riverside campground is so cool! A great secluded spot where you can hear the water all night. My dogs loved it here. It’s a little sandy but my truck had no issues. A picnic table would be been great but the host told me one is on the way! I would 100% recommend for anyone looking for some seclusion next to a flowing river. Bring bug spray. The last mile is dirt road but very well maintained. I’d definitely come back here. The host was super easy to work with. Thank you Exel!

We absolutely loved the place and had a wonderful time here with our friends and family. It was comfortable, aptly located and walking up to river water sounds with birds chirping along was the most mesmerizing experience! Our group thoroughly enjoyed Site #1. The spot is relaxing, with gorgeous views of the mountains and river. There’s a nice hike up the riverbank and an old mine to explore. Terry was a super thoughtful and detailed host, with lots of stories to share if you want to learn about the area. I highly recommend this spot if relaxing along a river is your thing. We will definitely visit again.

really enjoyed james’ spot. thankfully i was the only person on the property…i’m kind of a loner when camping & really love secluded sites. james called in advance to check in with me & give me a heads up on some things at his property he had made available. overall…it was exactly what you hope for from a hipcamp property. i’ll come back to fish as i bet it was great fishing…but my 3 french bulldogs weren’t having the downtime. LOL

Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common.
