There is a riding academy and boarding facility adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders, hikers and cyclists to travel along the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood, a pleasant 30 minute walk through lush riparian area.
Hawks Hideaway is a family owned property, occupied by a 3rd and 4th generation, mother-son team. Two generations have lived and died here before us and we are proud to be the custodians of this majestic property, full of old growth, gigantic cottonwood trees. A birdwatcher, or naturalists dream.

We enjoyed visiting Gary & Daren's Sacred Springs. Off the bat, both Gary & Daren were communicative, accommodating, and even went above and beyond throughout our stay. We forgot our toothbrushes and lighter, to which both came to the rescue. We really appreciated how thoughtful each piece of Sacred Springs was. From the community room, very comfortable shower and bathroom, to the cave with rock painting, we were in awe. We already told family members that we are taking them and coming back. Thank you again Gary & Daren for our wonderful stay. This non camper may become a camper very soon!

Would stay here again. Would recommend. Large sites, clean quiet neighbors. nice river trail. I would recommend staying up higher on the hill for better views of sunsets. Lots of activities, and things to do. Prices were reasonable. I didn’t get to use the pool however that was a major reason why I booked this resort.
It was cheaper on hipcamp than on their website. Did have a little difficulty at the office as mix up with what I booked on hip camp vs what they were giving me. Took a while to resolve about 15 minutes as the girl in the office texted back and forth with “reservations” They did give me a free fire pit which I would normally love but it was very windy. Lots of kids and things to do. The RV was much closer to highway than accepted but the highway noise was minimal.

Met with the owners upon check in, and they showed us around their wonderful property. Loved the community room where they had coffee and a shared kitchen space. Lovely rain shower and flushable toilet for folks camping. Nice and peaceful location with a fire pit and view.
We returned our rental camper and there was a man who was picking up his camper that overheard us telling the staff what a wonderful time we had. He approached us to ask where exactly we stayed, and we passed on your contact info. Would definitely stay again.

Host were very pleasant and all the hookups were avaliable.
Lots of local things to explore nearby: the town of Cottonwood, winery's, and a old mining town of Jerome.

We had a great weekend camping at Beaver Creek Oasis. Convenient to Sedona and the interstate, but still quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the creek and the toilet and shower was greatly appreciated. Thanks for showing us your animals too!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful time camping on Laura’s land. We even got to feed the alpacas on her short farm tour. The site was close enough from the freeway for easy access but far enough to enjoy the outdoors in peace. I would def consider going back for a private getaway.

Clifford’s place is incredibly peaceful. I got there later than I had hoped but in plenty of time of the sunset. Whew! The road was a little rougher than I expected but just take it slow and you’ll be fine. Plug the name of the camp into gps and you’ll get there. I thought I was on the wrong track but I wasn’t. My site was very flat! I would definitely stay here again!
