This spacious land is over 4 acres of high desert with breathtaking 360 degree views.
Only 45 minutes from Flagstaff, 30 minutes from the historic Grand Canyon, and only 36 minutes from Williams, this property is in the middle of it all. There is so much potential for amazing adventures.

The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

This is a camping area just 5 miles from restaurants, bars, quaint little tourist stores, gas stations and even a hardware store.
Located just west of Seligman with road access directly to the property and excellent access to Interstate 40 and Route 66.
You can rest and gather your thoughts while enjoying the great outdoors.
You can drive right onto the property and set up your RV or your tents.
There are no services at this site it is a dry camping area for as many days as you need.
Whatever you pack in you must pack out. No garbage waste or pollution whatsoever.
The meadow is full of prairie dogs so be careful driving around so you don't drive into a prairie dog hole.
No campfires or open flames at all.
All campers must have their own waste facility such as their own camping toilet and water source.
Absolutely No dumping any waste on the property.
There's no electricity on the property so bringing your own generator is a good idea, if you need electricity.

Our location is mid-way between Ash Fork and Seligman, AZ off of Route 66.
It is pristine juniper covered land in every direction at 5200'+ elevation with incredible Northwest Arizona mountain and valley views. If you're looking to enjoy the off-grid camping experience, come stay a night or 2 on "The 40 on Rte. 66." During new moon times, the sky is full of stars and the Milky Way is easily visible. During full moon times, the trees and ground are lit up in all directions. Sightings of deer and jackrabbits are common as well as hearing coyotes in the distance. Being open range land, the cattle will wander into sight. Various cacti and desert plants around the campsites. Nearby Route 66 attractions include Ash Fork, Seligman and Williams. Grand Canyon National Park is approx. 1.5 hours away. We are along the longest remaining un-interrupted sections of Route 66.
We have several improved camp sites to make your stay easier; however, there are plenty of unmarked and unimproved areas within the Hipcamp area for you to stay. This is our land but you are welcomed to camp your way. All are welcomed. 420 friendly. Please be respectful of your fellow Hipcampers.

A pretty special place to camp among the junipers and pinion pines on top of Howard Mesa. Enjoy amazing distant views by day, unbelievable night skies, and gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. You can also take in awesome views of the peaks to the east and even see the north wall of the Grand Canyon from the property.
There are currently three secluded camp spots, each hundreds of feet away from the other. No services are currently provided other than a designated stone firepit at each site, campers must bring everything they need and leave no trace. Please use the guest trash can located at the main gate. Normally accessible by any passenger vehicle, but significant rain may create enough mud to require 4WD.

There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it.
Other things to note:
From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain.
Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate.
There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies.
Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions.

We loved our stay at Luciano’s place!! He was so nice and very helpful. We got in late at night, and he helped us drive up to the site and provided us with some solar lights and a portable toilet. The site was gorgeous, and remote enough to feel secluded and private, but also close enough to help in case we needed anything. I would 100% recommend staying here. It was very peaceful and a great reset. Our dogs loved the place too!

Had a great time camping at The Spark. Clifford was very friendly and the whole campground has a quirky yet peaceful vibe. Enjoyed our campfire under the stars. The road was not difficult to traverse on our motorcycles, though it was dry when we arrived & left.

Large land divided into sites. Soft ground mud/clay/sand/grass like. I mistook them having accessible potable water included (it is only for sale and not a campground availability for free) lesson learned. Did not see or try bathroom. Only there for a very short night stay and was a great price. Part of the road into grounds is unpaved and bumpy. We have a lower trailer and just went slow. Very casual entrance and check in process.. would stay again if passing through.

I had a wonderful night at Spark in the Dark. The directions were helpful. I did have wind and rain but still enjoyed the open space and appreciated the tent site had a cleared, flat space to set up my tent. Clifford was very responsive with communications as well. I felt very safe which is my top priority especially when traveling solo.

Incredible stop over with a beautiful mountain view from our camp site of the sunset. All sites were fairly private and the area was very quiet. Clifford gave clear directions. We’ll definitely recommend this spot to friends needing a spot to camp near Flagstaff!
