Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Junipine Ranch is a delightful retreat at the base of the Juniper Mountain Range. Juniper and pine trees await you, offering their fresh, fragrant air. We (the trees and I) are situated at 5,600 feet in Northern Arizona. Drink plenty of water as you explore our paths, but pause often—you can see the distant San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff. Local Indigenous peoples have long held these mountains as sacred, and many believe that camping within sight of them brings a special sense of blessing and connection. The ranch is located 13 miles down a dirt road outside of town. It is accessible by 2WD vehicles, but please be mindful of the sharp rocks along the road, as they can puncture a tire. The drive makes for a very quiet and secluded stay; we just want to make sure guests are aware of the journey in. :)The Junipine group site is designed for those larger get together where you all might share a meal together, laugh, and share stories of past get together, yet room enough for 5 larger RVs or even mega 5th wheels without being stacked on top of each other. This is a brand new camping area so amenities are soon to come. A really cute outhouse is all you get! But hey, if you have a big rig, all you need is space! Come enjoy and feel free to suggest how we can make it better for you to enjoy on your return trip. The site can be very windy at certain points in the spring and can have the occasional dust storm, so if you are visiting this time of year come prepared!
