Propane fire rings and gas tanks available for rent. Welcome to Serenity in the Foothills. Located an hour west of Denver, this 3600 acre ranch features 12 spaced out campsites that offer quite a bit of privacy. There are tons of trails/ roads to hike and bike around on, as well as many amazing views. Resort Valley Ranch was combined from around 15 homesteads by the Corbin family. You will see lots of relics and evidence related to those homesteads across our property! Please do not disturb any artifacts or relics on our property, we are very conservation minded with the history as well as the natural beauty of the area. Come enjoy this hidden private jewel in the pines of Jefferson County, Colorado! We want to ensure your vehicle and trailer won't get damaged while commuting to your campsite. Please read about our campsites and make sure the one you pick works for your car/trailer. -NO fifth wheels (ALL sites). -Maximum length of trailers is 22ft(Select campsites) -Trailers must have adequate clearance: 8 inches or higher with no low hanging plumbing. -Sites 1, 2 : 4WD/ SUV- Short camper trailers only (12 foot max) -Sites 3 and 7 : 4WD/SUV vehicles only -Sites 4-12(excluding sites 7 and 11): 4WD/SUV with good clearance are recommended as well as trailers (22 foot max) -Site 11 : 4WD vehicles only. Serenity Camp offers a peaceful escape with stunning views and ample privacy. Jeff, the host, receives high praise for his communication and helpfulness. While the property is perfect for those seeking solitude and nature, it requires a 4WD vehicle for access and lacks some modern amenities. Visitors consistently appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the site, making it an ideal spot for a quiet retreat close to Denver.

Site 12 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
Want peace and quiet without annoying neighbors? This is the place for you. We didn't see another soul for the two days we were there. Jeff, our host, was awesome and communicated very well. Please note, these are primitive sites with no tables, toilets or hook ups. Porta-potties were there but not yet open for us. You will be "roughing" it. Happily, this wasn't an issue for us as we brought our travel trailer. Also, please note, when Jeff says 4-wheel drive required....it is. The road to our campsite was a bit rough but navigable with 4-wheel drive. The only real criticism I have is tree branches along the access road need to be trimmed to avoid scratching trailers. I have a 20' trailer and was occasionally taking it off the beaten path where possible to avoid tree limbs. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a smaller/shorter trailer. All in all, great host and great campsites. If you enjoy the sounds of silence, this is a great location and rather close to the Denver metro area.

Jeff was an incredible host. He was responsive to any questions we had provided excellent directions to get to the site. The spot is remote so be prepared to drive, and it was exactly what we needed- clean, no frills, and far from our neighbors. Highly recommend and will come back when we’re back in the neighborhood

Site 9 - Serenity Camp in the Foothills
This is my second time coming back to Jeff’s property. It is about amazing. I’ve been camping in the front range for over 10 years and this is one of the best. All the sites are spread out and you can’t see anyone from any of the sites. I highly recommended coming here.

Chilling and Disk Golfing
This was our third time camping at the Serenity Camp. We keep coming back because it really is serene. It does require clearance and for some of the spots 4WD, but Jeff is conscientious about making sure you've got the right car for the spot you go to. This time we tried disk golfing, and it was super fun!
