Our most popular pitch is our beautiful SSSI woodland.
There are only 25 pitches available. We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans.
Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben.
We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels.
There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

Dog's more than welcome. The land is fully fenced off for dogs to roam freely if wanted. There is a pond for them to cool down in the summer.
There are toilets and a washing machine. There is also a place to do some washing up if needed.
The campsite is located 5 minute walk away from a bus stop that can take you into Cambridge. We can provide a shuttle if needed.

Next to junction 8 of the M20 there is also Leeds Castle, only a 20 minute drive from Far and Away and the Big Cat Sanctuary is only a few fields away. At night you can hear the roar of the wild cats really making it feel like you are Far and Away!

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

We all had a wonderful time in our glamping tent. Well equipped and spacious with a lovely decking (we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the Skylark tent). The kids had a great time and made some little campsite friends. Great location with the lake nearby and plenty of activities. Highly recommended

Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

Such a beautiful place to spend a few days of relaxing or exploring the local countryside. So much care and attention has gone into this spot, we loved the yurt & the space surrounding it, so lovely & tranquil, we especially loved the fire pit and the indoor log burner, as well as the super king bed! A fantastic place we never knew was there, just down the road from us. We wanted a couple of days away but didn’t want to travel far so this was ideal and close to the stables we were going to to ride. We felt a million miles away. Incredible set up, Charlie was great and everything was pristinely clean. The cafe was fab for breakfast.

If you're looking to relax and soak up nature this is a beautiful spot on the edge of the forest. We stayed in a Bell Tent with lovely extras with some nice fruit tea bags and sugar stir sticks. Everything looked brand new.
Very clean showers and toilet blocks - modern and fresh.
Nothing was too much trouble - don't normally camp but I would have been happy for a week with a good book but sadly could only stay one night :-(

We had a brilliant stay at The Barn KT9. It’s even better than the photos. The tents were huge with comfy beds and clean sheets. The room diffuser was a lovely touch. Beautiful views and a relaxing space. The kids really enjoyed finding the different activities you had laid out in the field. The cafe was even better than hoped! Lovely stay in a lovely location! Would highly recommend for a few days of switching off. A car is necessary and I’d recommend bringing your own food to cook! A cool box would also be useful if it’s warm as there isn’t anywhere to store food.

We had such a great stay with friends in the bell tents. The campsite is beautiful, peaceful and has great facilities including a kitchen area with a stove and a shower with hot water. The tents are huge, with really comfy beds and Jayne and her husband were so helpful. Highly recommend!

I had a really lovely time with my two kids, 8 and 6 at the camp site. They loved their time paddling and kayaking in the stream and the farm animals were very friendly. Morag really made us feel comfortable in the space. I would definitely come again!

This was a truly unique experience that my two boys (6 and 8) loved. Morag made us feel very welcome and gave them lots of opportunities to interact up close with the animals, the rabbits and pigs being their favourites. The camp has a relaxed feel and is really welcoming of well-behaved dogs. Having a river that the kids (and dog) can play in all day was a treat in the hot weather. I would recommend taking some cooking pans because they did get taken by other campers, making them in scarce supply. This is not a luxury experience but one that certainly puts you at ease, with comfortable surroundings and all the basics you need. My boys have talked about it every day since we have been and are keen to go back.

My recent glamping trip in a bell tent was absolutely great, perfectly blending tranquil nature with a comfortable double bed; soft blankets and pillows and the spacious and thoughtfully decorated bell tent ready and waiting for us. We were able to immediately relax and enjoy our surroundings. It was the perfect escape for anyone who has had a long week at work and loves camping with a touch of luxury.
The sun was shinning and it was wonderful to lie hammock! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
