Great spot with all the necessary facilities, great host
Wonderful, peaceful, away from the crowds. Jayne greeted me on arrival with a basket of firewood for a perfect night of solitude. Great sunset too! Thank you Jayne xx
I had a great time at Far and Away camping! Not too far from the city for a short relaxing city escape. Easy to find. Lots of land space to pitch up a tent and not feel too cramped with other campers on site.
We camped out van on the grass field and it was a really nice camp. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. Can recommend going there for the whole ambience
Spent one night here and it was perfect. I had a great pitch right up the top of the hill, overlooking the field down below with the other campers, the facilities and entrance to the glamping field all in view.
The lower half of the field is a quite a level ground - most of which is suitable for tent pitches and ball games etc. The ground going up to the top of the hill, is on a slope, quite uneven and bumpy in places (partly due to the hot weather I would imagine). With that all said, I think I had the best spot which is right in the centre of the top of the hill - was pretty level too.
Jayne booked me in later in the afternoon and was super friendly and helpful. Thanks Jane :)
The showers were spot on, the water was the perfect temperature, all in a nice clean little kiosk. There are 2 on the camping side at the moment, along with a composting toilet, a regular toilet and gents 'festival' urinals - all set up in a nice little spot. There is also a drinking water tap and a couple of sinks for washing up nearby too.
There are some glamping tents and another kitchen/wash area in the neighbouring field - which looked lovely, well laid out. Was all booked up the night I was there.
A perfect spot, I'll come back again for sure. A top little campsite for a chilled night or three.
Great campsite. Hosts Jane and Mark were brilliant. Good facilities. Easy walk to Headcorn. We will be back for sure.

A beautiful field and fantastic hosts. The facilities are basic but functional (and to be honest excellent given this is practically wild camping). Good compost toilet. 2 hot showers within portaloos (not as bad as that sounds). Fun to watch all the activity in the skies from the Aerodrome (bi-planes, parachutes, hot air balloons).

Lovely and peaceful. Facilities were clean and everything was well signed. It was nice for Jayne to come and say hello and responded quickly on the app to questions.
Beautiful field. Very basic (just how I like it). Would definitely go back. Jayne was very welcoming.
Lovely little campsite, the hosts are so warm and welcoming. Arrival instructions were really clear. You can pitch your tent anywhere in the field. We had plenty of space and the amenities were clean. A warm shower, and they were installing another whilst we were there. Great location too.

Great campsite, easy to get to and good place to chill out.
We had such a great stay with friends in the bell tents. The campsite is beautiful, peaceful and has great facilities including a kitchen area with a stove and a shower with hot water. The tents are huge, with really comfy beds and Jayne and her husband were so helpful. Highly recommend!

2nd visit for me. As a solo camper I feel completely comfortable staying here. If you want to unplug this is the place. It’s peaceful and well managed. Communication with Jayne is always immediate. Highly recommend
Jayne and Mark are fabulous hosts - with a super relaxed site. Camping field is spacious, with simple and clean facilities that’s all you need. This was a second visit - will be back !
Camp site was clean. Access was easy and host was fantastic. We got to hear the lions roaring and the sky divers in the air.
Jayne was very welcoming and all instructions perfect.

The campsite was exactly what we wanted for our first camping experience. Jayne and Mark were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the facilities were clean and well looked after, and the site felt safe and secure. It was peaceful being able to enjoy the countryside under clear skies full of stars. The site was easy to find and access, with plenty of space to relax. Thank you guys.

Fabulous stay - such a lovely site. Jayne and Mark super friendly and helpful. Site is picture perfect, rabbits playing in the grass early evening, hot air balloons coasting overhead and birds singing at dusk. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer April evening, thanks so much both.

Very nice location for stargazing lovely atmosphere exactly as described
This spot was perfect. Despite it being November and seeing a little more rain than we probably would have liked it didn’t take away the experience. Jayne was accommodating to our needs allowing us a fire pit as it was out of season. Would be back!

Well worth the drive. Really nice site. Definitely be going back
The tent was lovely and spacious. Loved the seating and fireplaces outside each tent. The communal kitchen had more or less everything needed. It’s conveniently close to Leeds Castle so we were able to spend a day there. Jayne was great and very helpful!
