Great place, was able to set up campervan and side tent in a lovely location, with sun set to the left, woodland behind and goats and pony in paddock in front of us. The whole site is a gated area so was great for our dog to run around freely, making friends with the chickens, goats and other dogs. Silas was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended for a stress free, chilled camping experience
Our second visit here and still as good as the first time. Bear and Silas are so welcoming and friendly, couldn’t be more accommodating, our boys (dogs) were spoiled with fresh goats milk and attempted to make friends with the chickens. Great dog walk from the site along the canal makes it even better. It has what you need, toilet under the stars and warm showers (although didn’t use them this time). If you want to escape, have a quiet night, and get back to nature this is the place!
I had such a lovely stay here. It’s a quiet little campsite with plenty of space, making it perfect for switching off—or, in my case, a working holiday! The co-working space was excellent, with reliable internet and electricity, so working during the day was effortless.
This isn’t just a dog-friendly campsite—it’s dog heaven. During the heatwave, the pond was perfect for keeping the dogs cool, and Silas and the family were so welcoming to both me and my dogs. I’ve genuinely never seen them have so much fun.
The resident animals are an added bonus. Olive and Pip, the friendly goats, are absolutely delightful. Rodney the pony seemed a little shy at first, but we became friends and he’s incredibly sweet. Even the chickens provided entertainment, and the dogs loved pottering around watching them.
All in all, this place is a hidden gem. I absolutely loved my stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

I personally enjoyed my stay at Bridge Woods campsite. The owner and manager could not possibly be more helpful and I will definitely go there again. However I would choose carefully who I recommended the site to in its present state.
If you like animals and don’t mind ‘rough and ready’ it’s the place for you.

Great place to camp, friendly animals, nice vibes, good space and facilities. Fire pit is really nice.
We loved our stay! Owners were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. They lit a camp fire in the evening which was a lovely touch and our son enjoyed feeding the pony, chickens and goats and playing with Bear the dog. A very peaceful camp ground, perfect for us, with the added bonus of toilets and showers. They also have access to the river and we enjoyed heading out on our kayak during our stay. Would highly recommend. Beautiful site, beautiful people!

Silas is a great friendly host. When we arrived, he showed us the site and introduced us to the Pony and goats.
His one year old Labrador is cute and playful. We were visited every day to play fetch.
The chickens however, would surround you when food was in sight.
The first night, we were invited to a log fire where we met Silas's partner and father, all lovely people.
All in all, it's a fair site. two communal showers with hot water, a loo under the stars and a washing-up area.
Nights were peaceful, starting with beautiful sunsets.
If you fancy farm-style living, then you will enjoy it.
Thank you, Silas. We had a lovely, relaxing stay.

Silas’ place is just wonderful, low tech and high touch, a great base to visit Ely and Ely’s cathedral, Cambridge and wander through the countryside. Slias is very hospitable and easy going, a ‘must meet’ if you’re in the neighbourhood!

This was a fantastic place for my first camp of the year! I only just discovered it this year and it's a great local asset to me; very convenient to get to but still feels nice and rural. Silas is a great host and I can tell he puts a lot of work and care into the site and I really look forward to returning regularly to how it develops.
I just had my hammock with me and he was really helpful and finding the best spot for me, which had a great view across the fields for an excellent sunset view. I also have to mention all the animals on the site, which really added to the atmosphere. I definitely had a fun wild camping experience without going too off-grid. I would definitely recommend it as a low-key place to unwind and enjoy.

The place is really nice and gets us away from the screen off our phones. The host is amazing and even let us try some goats milk. The goats are really relaxed as well as the donkey and shetland pony. The chickens made me laugh and it was really nice waking up to the roosters in the morning. The trees we camped next to offered some shade during the sunny day, and it is where we put the hammock to chill in. Its a really good way to get away from busy life to chill out with no distractions (other than the chickens wanting to explore around you or watching the baby goat getting the zoomies😂)

A really lovely spot with loads of animals and incredible views with walkways along the canal around the corner.
We camped in a tent for a couple nights. The host was really friendly and incredibly accommodating. Offered us free fresh eggs which were really tasty. We really enjoyed petting the donkey and goats, and had a little visitor one morning (One of the many chickens decided to check up on us). We also headed to nearby Ely and Cambridge which we took the bus.
Overall an incredibly beautiful and quiet place with an amazing host. Will definitely be coming again in the future 😁

We loved our time here. We were made very welcome and it was just perfect for us. Very quiet and peaceful at night. It was just us pitched up during our stay. Lovely flat grass surface for the campervan. Our dogs enjoyed themselves and loved watching Chicken TV! Resident dog Bear is an absolute hoot! So funny and a real character. We will definitely be back.
Excellent place. Enjoyed every second. The host is welcoming and helpful. Perfect for groups and families.

Really great little tucked away spot. Was lovely that it was only us there as the site only caters for minimal pitch ups. Very peaceful and quiet.
There were chickens roaming free and a pony on site.
Silas (the host) was very friendly and allowed us to help ourselves to fruit from the trees and eggs from the coop.
Compost loo was clean and tidy.
Pleasant walk from the site along the canal.
We were also allowed to let our dog off lead on the site if we wished.
Lovely patch. Friendly host, chickens and mini horse! Will be great to go back and see how this site grows in the future. Thanks for the plums 👍
Rustic site which is just what we were after. Felt like we were staying with friends. Super friendly host who invited us to watch the sunset from his private corner. We all fell in love with his puppy, Bear, and it was lovely to have our dogs off leash in the site. Great off leash dog walk from the site as well, lovely walking along the canal.
Had a European/french feel. Even picked apples from their massive apple tree to make apple pie at home!
This was just a perfect stay, thanks for having us Silas and Bear, can’t wait to come back.
