For food, there’s a farm shop just two minutes’ walk away from the site where you’ll be able to get your hands on local produce. Pubs aren’t far away either – there is one pub five minutes' walk away, and another 15 minutes' walk away.
Festival goers are very welcome, and the Creamfields Festival site is five minutes’ drive away. Please respect the quiet hours (no noise is permitted after 10pm) and environment, as the owners' home is on the grounds (and stick to the field's facilities only).
No waste accepted onsite. All rubbish must be taken home at the end of your stay.

We are surrounded by a young trees &woodland with the back drop of the Pennines. We offer both glamping and traditional non EHU camping on our site, with lovely hot showers, clean toilet facilities, fresh water point, pot wash area, phone charger lockers, communal freezers, elsan disposal point, microwave, coffee/hot chocolate machine, and our little honesty shack with all little camping essentials to might need whilst staying with us.
We also hire out picnic benches and fire pits to help enhance your camping experience.
We have a lovely little woodland walk, with a meandering mown path, that winds through our woodland/conservation area. Perfect to walk your dog, and let your kids explore.
Adjoining the campsite, we have a padock with super frindly sheep that love to say hello. We sell little bags of sheep feed, just incase you'd like to give them a little treat.
In the middle of the site, we have a little tots play area, perfect for keeping you're small kids entertained.
We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am.
Latest check in time is 8PM, unless prearranged with the campsite.
Our site has close links to the A6 and m6 J33. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. There is also lots of interesting activities to do locally.

What a little Derbyshire gem: back to basics Whitehouse Farm Campsite is a simple site in a most scenic setting five minutes’ drive from the pretty village of Tideswell.
The site’s central location in the Peak District National Park means it’s a top spot for those who want to ramble or ride bikes – several circular trails leave from Tideswell and the traffic-free Monsal Trail is a five-minute drive away. And there’s plenty more activity if you require it too, as activity centres nearby can sort you out days of horse riding, abseiling, climbing and caving.
All this activity isn’t mandatory, of course – this is an equally fine location for days pottering off to local pubs, pigging out on pudding in Bakewell or taking a leisurely stroll around the Chatsworth Estate, 20 minutes away.
And if even that’s too much, you’d be welcome to spend some time loafing about on site: there’s heaps of space here, and as facilities have been kept quite minimal (just showers and toilets) there should be a good serving of peace and quiet to go with it all.
Guests are welcome to light up a barbecue or campfire for cookouts and keeping warm; Tideswell’s the place for supermarket supplies, and it’s also handily got a fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs for days when your firelighting skills aren't up to much.

What a great site to stay at. I pitched up later in the afternoon and was gone early in the morning, but the amenities were clean and tidy. Plenty of space to spread out so you are never too close to your neighbour.

Relatively new set up that Mark is putting a lot into - I think they’ve been there about a year. A mix of glamping units and campervan/ motorhome/ caravan pitches. Adults only ( I think!), dog friendly. Lovely new showers and toilets, lots of work going on to upgrade. Short walk into Llangollen so very good location. Friendly welcome. Worth having levelling blocks as some pitches on a slope. Nice quiet site

We loved the pitch at Rachel's as the view was spectacular 👌 and the walks around the site unbelievable.
Rachel and Nic were very friends and shared lots of walks and cycle rides with us as well as the best ale houses to visit.
It was a bit steep getting upto the pitch but was worth it .
Electric , water , shower and toilet onside as well as WiFi.
It is a must for people that want somewhere close to town centre

My husband and 2 children ages 2 and 5 and I really enjoyed camping at Intake Farm. We stayed in wudu woods. We had a pretty big group next to us, but we were able to spread out so it still felt private. The kids really enjoyed getting to watch them feed the animals and say hi to the highland cows each day!

This is great back to basics campsite. The loos were clean. There was a cute swing in a tree on site to have a go on and take pictures. Firepits were available to use for free and you can buy logs from the tractor if you’ve not bought any with you. I’ll definitely be back!

Where to go
Delamere to Sandiway
The village giving its name to Delamere Forest, Delamere is situated just south of the forest and Delamere railway station. The A556 Chester Road, which leads northeast to Sandiway, passes through some fetching tree-fringed lakes where you can swim or try watersports like standup paddleboarding. Walk along the Whitegate Way, a 6-mile former railway line, then style in at an area tent or campervan site.
Marbury Country Park & Around
Gradually reclaiming former industrial land in a woodsy green between Marbury and Northwich are the Northwich Community Woodlands, at the heart of which is the former country estate of Marbury Country Park. Just 10 miles northeast of Delamere, Marbury walking and cycling trails retain a genteel feel—two long-distance footpaths, the Cheshire Ring Canal Walk and the North Cheshire Way, pass through. Head out for boating at Budworth Mere, and pitch a tent at family-run campsites around the region.
Cheshire Ring
A series of six connecting canals (all navigable by narrowboat), the Cheshire Ring shows that this portion of Northwest England retains some simple charm. Circling within six miles of Delamere Forest near Little Leigh and skirting the southern edge of Warrington, Manchester, and Macclesfield, the Cheshire Ring features lots of lovely countryside plus the opportunity to take a week to boat the 97-mile route or walk along the towpath.
Shropshire Union Canal
Eight miles south of Delamere Forest at Tiverton, water lovers can hook up with the Shropshire Union Canal, one of Britain’s most beloved man-made waterways. This connects Merseyside with the Midlands through some bucolic parts of Cheshire, Shropshire, and Staffordshire, as well as several cities like Chester. You can try narrowboating, or cycle or walk along the towpath, then seep out at spots near Tiverton offering tent sites, glamping pods, and vintage caravans.
