This is a secluded and quiet property tucked back off the road in the bush. Lots of room to roam, trees to relax under and let your dogs run. We have three dogs that roam the grounds and are a welcoming committee. We have lots of sites tucked into the greenery for privacy. We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around. There is firewood on property to purchase. We have a convenience station to wash dishes. Potable water and ice to purchase. We are setting up to have outdoor showers but they are not ready until June. The newest addition to the property are two goats that think they are dogs and will greet you. We are on the boarder of a hiking trail that is accessible from the property. Our 2.5 acre property is located just outside the small village of Millbank. The large lawn area is great for camping, campfires, playing games and relaxing while watching the horse and buggies of the local Amish and Mennonites go ambling by in a manner that speaks to a time gone by. We have now added a Bunkie that can be booked for a more comfortable camping experience. The Perth Harvest Pathway section of the G2G rail trail is quite literally in the backyard. for hiking , bird watching and biking. We have an outdoor shower and large sink in a shed attached to the rear of our garage. It is easy to identify as it has a large white x on the door. Our home is located on the edge of elmira. We live on 14 acres. We built a 1 acre campground on our property which also has a few trails for you to wander. The property is great for walking your dog leash free. Close to amenities and town but also feels secluded. Your campground includes - fire pit - walking trail - large cut grass field - great for dogs and walking dogs - abuts farm land with lots of privacy - no hydro available at main campground but for an extra charge I can provide a generator - porta potty on site which is very clean. - ability to park on grass or gravel - depending on time of year pond, it does dry up but dogs love swimming in it. - great sunrises and sunsets - 2 minutes to groceries and liquor stores, restaurants, Tim Hortons, Dog Park etc. - Lots of wood supply for fires (Extra Charge) The property can accommodate multiple camping reservations but for now we are only accepting 1 at a time on a a 5 acre portion of our 14 acres. The pond does dry up as the summer goes on as of right now until we renovate it, And we do not allow swimming in it (Animals are ok).

There is access to several Grand River launch sites, many nearby hiking trails, and countless Mennonite farmers markets with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and preserves. This is a hidden Oasis just outside of the Waterloo and Guelph areas. There’s lots of other exciting things to do and see in the surrounding areas – great restaurants, breweries and wineries, golf courses, rivers, fishing, agri-tourism experiences, events and more. There is really something for everyone around here. We have a beautiful green acreage with a picturesque pond, next to Cox Creek and privacy with open and treed space and the promise of gorgeous sunsets almost every night. Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest. We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. We have 3 campsites that are spread out on 4 acres of grass. 1 site is used for temporary summer trailers, 2 are for camping. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash. Please remember to remove all garbage and recycling from campsites, a compost bin is available on site by the garden. A portable toilet is available from May 15 to the end of thanksgiving weekend in October. And please note that we are located beside an active rail line that is used by the Go Train, VIA Rail and freighters, there are trains that pass throughout the night. It was 1984 when John found his ‘diamond in the rough’, 20 acres with an orchard on the outskirts of Brantford. O.K., so the house was nothing to write home about but perfect for building a construction yard…no neighbors except for the family across the road that used their property to build log homes. By 1987 the old house was gone, a new one was being built and a shop for working on heavy equipment had been located about 200 ft. from Dr. the back door. It wasn’t until 1996 that things changed very much. Yes, the property around the house had benefitted from a wide array of trees and shrubs that John saved from the construction/demolition jobs he had done and that still thrive today but no big projects (except for equipment purchases) were ongoing. A chance meeting with the neighbor across the road one day resulted in the following dinner conversation, ‘How was your day’ I chirped. ‘Not bad, so-and-so didn’t come in; the truck broke down and I took it for repair; I bought the property across the road, and oh, yeah I’ll need a ride after dinner to pick up the truck’ was John’s casual reply. ‘What was that’? I pressed. ‘Yes, I need a ride after dinner to pick up the truck’ he repeated with a bit more volume. Of course like anyone, I had questions, ‘Do you want peas or corn with dinner’? ‘What time do you want to go to get the truck’? ‘The property across the road’, 10 acres, still has the 4 storey barn with its twin tiled silos which was built in 1914 and the big white house with wrap around porch that once was home to a Doctor and his family. Built so the Doctor could see his patients in the front with the family living in the back was very common in the day. Things remained relatively peaceful until 2000 when after studying alpacas for more than 6 years I bought our first three. Back in 2000 alpacas and llamas were not frequently seen on farms and because they could been seen from the road they received A LOT of attention. People driving by would stop and ask about them, ask if they could take a picture or two and that was when I would hear over and over again ‘You have a beautiful place here, I wish I/we could stay’. Well, if you want to visit and stay in the city it’s doable, we call it a hotel. But visiting a farm and staying well, that isn’t so easy. Each year we would see more and more families coming to ‘The Farm’ as they would call it. Some came to see the alpacas and horses, some came for a stroll and to check out the horse drawn milk and bread delivery wagons, some to have family birthday parties, others to have engagement/wedding/Christmas card pictures…and so many asked if there was any way they could spend a day or two. In 2021 during a conversation with a friend I mentioned we were in the process of gutting the 1100 sq. ft. space downstairs and turning it into an Airbnb! Right away she said, ‘I don’t know why you don’t have a Hipcamp? You’ve got that great area by the new barn that Hipcampers would love’! After a little investigation I found out what a Hipcamp was…and as they say, the rest is future.

The bush area has been used for camping by many local and visiting scouting groups over the years. In 2021, we joined Hip Camp and now allow others to enjoy the beauty, peace, and challenges of camping in our bush. The alpacas are a peaceful herd to watch as they graze their way through the day. Crias (baby alpacas), love to pronk and play in the pastures near their mothers. During May you may observe us shearing the alpacas. June is the birthing and breeding month. Weekend Trip to Everhill Farm

My partner, dog and I stayed at Josh’s property on the Riverbend campsite with our little pop-up truck camper over the long weekend. Josh was super attentive, super friendly and his property was well-maintained. We did notice there was many other campsites on the property so there was a lot of other campers around. Typically we like to be quite secluded so this was a little crowded for our liking, but this beautiful spot made up for any noise or disruptions. This would be an amazing spot to camp with friends or with a larger group for sure!

She was an absolute pleasure. I was with my 22 year old son, and mom wanted us home, so we missed the tour. Awesome campsite with a great atmosphere! One of the best parts was the noodle-making class with Greg. He taught us how to make noodles from scratch and made the whole experience fun and easy. Highly recommend the campsite and definitely recommend Greg’s noodle class!

Take a short stroll down to the pond. Hear the bullfrogs, catch a glimpse of the sunfish or bass, and maybe a blue heron or our resident great horned owl.

Site #1 was incredible! It was the perfect relaxing getaway with an amazing sunset and taste of nature. I would definitely plan to go back and visit again!

We had a great stay at Josh’s private farm campsite. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, with multiple spots to choose from. Camping by the river made it extra special. Josh was very friendly and even allowed us a late checkout. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved spending the weekend here with my husband and four pugs lots of land to explore very peaceful perfect get away from the city. Would love to stay there again maybe next time with my kids.

Back in the woods is where the tent camping is, it's quiet, private, and very open.

We had an awesome stay at Pootcorners Alpaca Farm in Palmerston. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. The site itself was private with plenty of space to relax, plus a great fire pit and table setup. The alpacas were such a unique and fun touch—it really made the experience stand out. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Suelaine was such a hospitable and friendly host offering us anything we needed and giving us a tour of all the amazing Alpaca products she makes. Our time here was amazing, especially thanks to BP and Marty who gave us all of the animal dopamine we could need!!! Highly recommend anyone to stay here
