Follow the dancing squirrels and singing birds to find this Tiny House in the Big Woods... a land where crickets sing as the sun goes down and chipmunks dance in the light of the moon. Where the summer night wind whispers gently through the trees and the stars glisten in the scented night skies. Next to the Tiny house is a meadow brimming with life; sweet apple blossoms, wild flowers, and honey bees to delight the senses. Quietly nestled near a spring fed pond brimming with fish, turtles, and frogs; this Tiny House is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. With close proximity to Toronto, this is off-grid unplugged-relaxation at it's finest. The space is functional, very rustic, and a bit of a work in progress. There is a wood stove to keep the space somewhat warm in the cooler months, a 2 burner propane cook top stove and kitchen essentials. There's a BBQ and grill over the Fire Pit for your cooking needs. It is a 5-7 minute walk from the parking spot to get to the cabin. ABOUT THE SPACE: - camping essentials are provided - BBQ with propane - 5 gallons of drinking water will be provided - no running water/showers - your own private fire pit with grill - firewood is available - urine-diverting composting toilet - Coyotes live around here - Our family lives on the property, so there may be sounds of children playing   Nearby attractions include hiking and swimming at Rockwood Conservation area, Bellwood Lake, hiking along the Bruce Trail in Limehouse, mountain biking at Kelso Conservation area just 20 min drive away. Lovely walks and strolls at Scotsdale Farm.  Visit the quaint hamlet of Eden Mills. We had a wonderful stay at Amber’s cabin! The location was peaceful and beautiful, and the cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. Amber was such a thoughtful and kind host. Her friendly dog made us feel right at home, and her lovely boys brought so much warmth to our stay. We also truly appreciated the fresh eggs she brought us in the morning. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

It’s very private and quiet. Nice cozy cabin. Host is friendly and accommodating. Nice and relaxing at night time. All you can hear is crickets. Lots of wood. Lots of water. Solar panels kept lights on and devices charged and it wasn’t even that sunny lol. Will return if they’ll have me!

Great stay. I will be back. Feels very private. And the towns Erin and Eramosa and Gwuelth…are lovely. Lots of hiking around.

We loved the tiny cabin just enough for two and a tent I'd you have more people. It was just far enough away from the main house to feel private. Had more amenities thank expected. Had a BBQ , fire grate , fan and plenty of light. The cabin was very well decorated with more than enough pillows and blankets. I would definitely recommend it. Amber and her husband are more then hospitable. Definitely go if you have the change .

Great spot to enjoy the serenity’s of nature! A quick walk around the main house and your on your own with a beautiful open Field in the front and a tiny house wrapped around a forest. Enjoy your own tiny pond where you can watch the fish jump, turtle swim, and birds fly! Everything you need and more to be equipped for a weekend getaway, we needed nothing. Fire wood and drinking water was provided. All basic kitchen needs available. Including tin foil , dish soap, BBQ for cooking. Very clean and comfortable. Plus a charger for your phones.

The perfect little Gem!

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Amber and Neil were absolutely wonderful. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed and so peaceful and tranquil. We fished in the pond and had an abundance of birds, squirrels and chipmunks all around us. This little gem is close to the city and yet tucked in far enough away to feel like your deep in the woods. The spot was very clean and private. I have to say it was 1 of our favorite Spots to camp at. We will definitely be returning.

Amber was a fantastic host. It was a little hidden gem not far from the city. It's on an amazing property and you feel like you are on a private piece of property. Everything was as it was advertised and we will definitely be revisiting soon.

Probably the best cabin experience my partner and I have had so far, we felt so connected to nature yet safe, cozy and warm, very warm thanks to the beautiful wood-stove. We cooked amazing meals and had deep sleeps. We will for sure visit again soon :) Thank you!

A special little spot!
Tiny House in the Big Woods
A special little outdoors spot a short and easy drive from the city. Everything about this place from start to finish was top notch! You can tell the place has been put together with care, with small touches including the camp gear, the bed, and even an easy way to chop your wood! The host was so lovely, meeting us and showing us around. The firepit is an awesome place to spend a few evening hours. We highly recommend visiting the Rockwood conservation area which is only a 10 minute drive! Would definitely recommend this spot and will be back!

We spent two nights and it was amazing. The host was adorable, and the place so peaceful. If you want to run away from the city's noise and stress just book yourself a night or two.

Such a cute place! Very clean and lots of privacy. On the back deck it feels like you’re deep in the woods, and the front has a beautiful open space, perfect to sit with your coffee in the morning. The host was amazing and provided anything one might need for a nice camping experience. Would highly recommend!

The cabin is very sweet and comfortable. We relaxed in the hammock, took dips in the pond, cooked in the firepit, and listened to the crickets and frogs as we fell asleep.

The little cabin was incredibly whimsical and perfect for those who want a little more shelter and comfort than a tent can provide. We cooked some great meals and enjoyed fresh eggs from the property brought to us by the owner’s young son - who tends to the chickens. We enjoyed beautiful views on the very private space - bring some kind of mosquito repellant!

Tiny Cabin in the Woods was a fantastic getaway from the city. The back porch was perfect for my morning coffee and ront porch for afternoon beer. I cooked my meals over the firepit (there's a grill) rather than the woodstove, the propane stove or BBQ (lots of options). Dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, filtered water and rain water (for doing dishes and cleaning) all provided. There is a beautiful little pond... next time I will go floating :) and lots of open space to throw the football. Beautiful flowery path to follow to the cute little outhouse... Highly recommend :)

Drinking tea on the front porch looking out over the pond was so relaxing. I really enjoyed watching a momma robin looking after her chicks. This cabin is the perfect place to enjoy quiet and tranquility. Everything you could need was available in the cabin, it is very comfortable and cozy. If you do feel the need to go out there are a few small towns not far off. I highly recommend staying here and I will hopefully be returning soon!

Perfect cabin for rainy weekends

We stayed in the little cabin on a rainy spring weekend. It was the perfect place to hunker down during chilly weather. The wood burning stove kept us warm, and we cooked using a covered barbecue outside. Amber was super welcoming. She met us to check us into the cabin, showed us how everything works, and delivered us some fresh farm eggs we'd ordered. The cabin was super private, so we felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere! We loved how close this spot was to Elora and to Guelph - we recommend the Guelph Farmers Market, and Elora Gorge (we enjoyed the gorge even in the rain!).

Absolutely loved our stay! The tiny house is well equipped for everything you need for an amazing time, its cozy and the solar powered charger is great to keep your devices charged. Amber is very responsive and easy to connect with, making sure you have what you need to enjoy your stay, we also enjoyed having Leo(one of her kid) take us around and tour us and telling us stories of the place. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back.

We loved this cute and cozy little cabin! We went for a fantastic hike at a nearby conservation area (Rockwood) and read for hours with the wood stove going. Bed was comfy and my kids loved exploring. Thanks for a great stay :)

Lovely Hideaway/Quiet Beauty.
Tiny House in the Big Woods
This is an adorable place to hide from the hustle and bustle. It is cozy and quaint surrounded by old trees in the back and a vast green space in the front. I stayed on a rainy, cold weekend in Oct. but was never cold (thanks to the wood stove and plenty of wood). The bed is very comfortable and warm (I loved snuggling in and listening to late night coyote conversations in the distance). The kitchen is stocked for simple needs (you won't be baking coblers but the provided camp stove does everything you need). I had plenty of access to drinking water and non-potable water for doing my dishes. There was plenty of propane and solar power for use. The outhouse was clean, easy to access and could be brightly lit for evening trips. The host is friendly and helpful. If you need to recharge yourself with a quiet retreat, this is the perfect place.

Amber was super friendly and responsive. The house was well stocked, clean, and adorable. The walk to the cabin from the parking spot was not as long as we thought it would be! The area was open and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

It’s a very tiny house but outside the place is beautiful, calm and peaceful. The host was one of the nicest people I have met. She is very helpful and if you needed anything she would answer you right then and there.
