Fantastic host and provided an experience for my kids above and beyond the standard camping expectation.
The campsite was a peaceful spot to spend a few nights and enjoy the outdoors.
You have to be ready for it being a working farm with the expectations that go along with that environment.
Kids definitely can’t wait until we can return.

This setting is picturesque and private. You have the opportunity to have a fire and sit back and enjoy the great view, if you have the time you can also walk around the property and meet the horses .
Host Karen is so helpful and makes the whole experience so easy and relaxing, will definitely be back again in spring!

My young family of 5 absolutely loved our stay on Karen’s property. We tented in an empty paddock and the kids enjoyed exploring the empty paddocks nearby and seeing the cows and horses. Karen was very accomodating and thoughtful providing a beautiful camping location shaded from the morning and evening sun and even brought a horse over for the kids to feed (the highlight of their trip). Karen made us feel very welcome.
I would highly recommend this experience.

We absolutely loved our stay on Karen’s property. Only staying one night for my girlfriends 25th, I was amazed with our campsite options upon arrival and the amount of care shown towards making the event special. Our site was well maintained and opened towards a lovely landscape.
Our stay was during a rainy period and a small leak in the tent let to our blanket being soaked. Through her kindness and generosity, Karen lent us some blankets so we didn’t have to sleep under a drenched blanket. Karen and Peter’s hospitality and kindness were definitely appreciated and we’re certainly looking forward to our next visit!

The property was beautiful, with so much space to roam around and explore. The host Karen was so kind and gave us plenty of space and privacy so we could have a relaxing stay.
The bird life was so diverse we loved just listening to all their calls. The horses we so friendly too, we gave them some nice headrubs
You cannot go wrong staying here.

Had a wonderful farm experience staying at Karen and Peter's beautiful property. Such great hosts' made us feel very welcome and made sure we had a great stay. So much fun was had by the kids exploring the paddocks, talking to the cows and horses and they even had the opportunity to brush and feed one of them Karen gave us lots of local tips which was much appreciate. Thank you again for a wonderful family getaway ❤

Perfect spot away from the world to hang out for a night.
Karen’s a superb host who went out of her way to make sure we had a good spot and had ample firewood left for us.
Excellent tent locations with great views.
Bikepackers from Adelaide, this is a perfect overnight location. Highly recommended.

Such a great spot, Karen was so lovely and helpful our whole stay and it was great learning a little about the farm and seeing lots of baby calves! So close to lots of things to see and explore the area. The way to get into the site through a series of gates was a bit tight with the van, but was totally fine for us and Karen let us go the long way through to paddocks to get out to make it easier :)

The hosts were down to earth and very welcoming. My son was able to join them with feeding the animals and absolutely loved it. It was a very peaceful and stress free stay. Would definitely stay again 👍

Wonderful spot! Multiple campsite options and the owners are amazingly helpful and could not fault them!!!!
Great for kids, they loved playing on the rocks and going for walks. The owners also offered for us to come pay the horses and feed the cattle. Wonderful experience.

Enjoyed every moment of staying on the farm, Karen was a great host and came to the rescue when we forgot a wine bottle opener and eggs!, the area we camped at was very scenic, with plenty of roaming space for our 6 month old kelpie. Overlooking the damn, and the paddock of cows, it was nice to getaway to a quiet retreat and camp for 2 nights.

I booked quite last minute and Karen was so quick and accommodating. As a solo female traveller she really made me feel safe and welcome even bringing down some plums and eggs for me! The property was beautiful and I made dinner in the van as the sun set and had a really wonderful night.

We loved our peaceful escape from the city. The boys had so much space to roam. We were the only campers at the property and were able to chose where we wanted to set up. Karen was a great host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Wandering over to visit the horses was a highlight for the boys. Thankyou :) :)

Karen was incredibly accommodating and helpful- we had 4 paddocks to choose from! Just the privacy we were after, beautiful piece of land with cattle and horses. We also took her up on her recommendations for places to visit.

Karen is an amazing host, she made us feel very welcome and was very accommodating. Karen gave us lots of great ideas for things to do in the area and also helped our children feed her horses, which they loved! We could choose from a number of different paddocks, all had great aspects. If you are self contained, this is a great spot to base yourself to explore the Adelaide Hills, I would highly recommend staying here.

Karen and Peter were great hosts. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were always available to help us with any request. Their place is amazing, close to wineries, with a beautiful view and easy access. We will surely come back.
